Kat - i wouldn't be too concerned with guesses to how big he is - they predicted at 42 weeks that DD was 10 pound 4 oz - she came out at 8 pound 11.5oz - and with a really skinny waist, no hips and no butt (perhaps all weight is in her brainy head?? hehe) so she is still in small nappies at 6 weeks - she can still fit into FJ's nappy - and thats a newborn one...

I just put her in medium IB's cos I didn't buy enough smalls.. LOL

I don't have anything good to swap that I don't want to keep!!!! Doh, doh, doh!!

Are we too old for chocolate crackles....? Thought of them this morning for some reason & am jonsing for some now... thought I could bring some tomorrow if I made them but they may be too juvenile for the intellectual cloth nappy set?! Anyone bringing chocolate-crackle-friendly kids??? I could share with them at least....

Well you never know Maz, despite her parents she might turn out to be a really lovely kid. That poor 13 yo, hope she's okay. Was it bad enough to call the police or would that not be appropriate?

Chocolate Crackles! Yay! Ah crap, I have to go get ingredients still.

Don't worry Kat, even if your bub is big, you should be fine, Riv was 4.2kg and not too hard.

Mel, I wonder if that's the difference between boys and girls, it seems that boys pee all at once.

    Better go, things to do...

    Hi all

Maz - What horrible neighbours. We have people next to us who have 8 cars (all parked int the street & outside our house) and there's 12 of them living there & one of the plays electric guitar (really badly) at all hours of the night
Have PM'd you re: the nappy swap

QM - you're never too old for chocolate crackles

Sam- I havent seen a HAB, that would be great.

    Hi everyone else

We just got back from the health centre & DD's put on 595 grams in 14 days. She has this horrible nappy rash which wont go away either, she's had it since she was a few days old. The health nurse thought it might be thrush but the stuff she told us to use didnt work, so I dont know what it is.

Katones... another here just saying don't worry too much. Jovie was measured by u/s 2 days before birth and it was estimated that she would weigh 10lb 11oz, she came out 8lb 13oz... not even close! The way they get their weight measurements on u/s is through the length of the femur bone in the leg. They can't ever get an accurate weight because they can't measure fat/muscle etc via sound waves. I was told to have a c/s due to her weight guess.... I'm so glad I didn't.

they took most of the measurements from around bubs belly, then also measured head, legs etc...i am not worried any more OB thinks it is just a BIG bub and will most likely be over 4kgs.. and he said to me..'well at least he isn't coming out downstairs' i was like yep so am i :P

good one Gudism.. i just went and had a looksee at the BBB

two nappy changes per day! wow, that sounds like a very recalcitrant child care centre Gudism! (finally i get a chance to use that word LOL). I told our CCC that MCN needs to be changed more often than sposies, but after every CCC day, i always find at least one DRY and CLEAN nappy in the wetbag, so i still don't think they know how to recognise a wet nappy from a dry nappy. But hey, i can live with washing one more MCN.

Nelle, yep, bilby is still looking rather cute in her baby legwarmers. We've been using them alot at night over winter, under her sleeping bag, but now it's lovely Spring weather, they'll be getting a good day time wear methinks. Do you have giraffe ones for Silas?

Speaking of baby legwarmers, weren't you going to post COW baby leg photos (amongst many other COW themed MCN stuff) of Mateauz, Maz??? just a small hint . . . .

Sigh, i wish i had been putting me and bilby on a plane to Melbourne today, i'm sucha sore loser, having a "poor me" day this week, cos i REALLY REALLY wanted to be there for tomorrow's meetup. I know i should STAY OFF this thread for about a week, so i won't hear how wonderful the meetup was, and feel even more envious - but i doubt i will be able to stay away, i'll be dying to hear how it all went, adn hope there are pics! It'll be salt on a raw wound, but i must like salt!

Maz - you needn't be jealous of my hair adventures, putting henna in is like having a mud pie fight on your head! Much moogoo conditioner to get out all the knots afterwards LOL.

KATONES: glad to hear you are feelign betterer.

    SUSE: hi there lurker

WOTBB: wotevah night nappy combo dh put on bilbs.
i wash em, dry em, assemble em, put em in Da Night Nappy Tray, all he does is take em outta da tray and put em ON da bilby.

HAVE A WONDERFUL MEETUP ALL YOU LUCKY MELB GALS!! complete with german potato salad and chocolate crackles LOL

couldn't post this message last night, tryying again this morning.
