SOrry i have been MIA for a while. Been a bit hectic with DH applyling for jobs across the country, taking DD out of CC, and fast approaching 5 weeks left before this baby is due..

on the up side... i am excited about trying out my flannyflats and covers soon!

OH On a sad note, I have just canceled my layby with Itti bitti for the 12 D'lish seconds. Im struggling to pay it off & well, I just don't need them. Had a bit of a reality check after checking the balance on our credit card . Also, I am thinking its the suedacloth causing Isla's rash....

Gigi you can make a cover just like a pocket but just sew up the hole at the top. That's what I did and it works perfectly. Just make sure the inner is a microfleece so it doesn't wick and sew the elastic to the pul so it curls in. Sorry I don't have a link I just made it up as I went but I don't think it's an original idea as it does end up looking like the shell of an itti bitti!
Oh and there is a PURPLE BILBY nappy on the gossamer dreams site! Check it out!!!

    Ali byebye for now!

FJ glad you like them and yes I love the nappies great job! OMG they are so tiny. 10 more weeks till I can use them Can't wait!

QM those choc crackles were yummy! I hadn't had one of them for years

Wow Qld girls it's such a HUGE state isn't it! I though 3 hours drive to visit Maz was long!

Side snapping ittis would be wonderful We really don't have wing droop issues with ours but I still prefer side snap anyway.

Got a poo story to share. Caleb wanted to sit on the potty last night. Nothing happened and he nicked off. Didn't chase him as it was almost bath time and thought he could have some nappy off time for 10 mins or so. Anyway he started screaming about his socks and the little bugger had done a poo (on the floorboards thank goodness) and then stood in it. He was distraught about getting poo on his socks At least I had something to laugh about while I was cleaning it up!

Best I got an hang nappies on the clotheshore. It's raining again

Oh no FJ. Hope it's not suedecloth! I love suedecloth! (and forgive the wicked wicked girl in me who will be watching itti seconds now )

I'm a bit scared to hang nappies outside, it's been so windy lately! They could end up in some trees or something!

I know Sammi, that's what I thought, that Qland is MASSIVE.

    Yeah not long PP! Wow.

Riv's helped himself to a banana, just peeled one strip off, and is trying to eat it through the gap...pretty messy. Don't have the heart to take it off him, I'm proud he had the smarts to peel it! :P

Maz - twinklelilly, I tell you this nappy hunt is NOT good for my pocket. So many great sites with great stuff!

Any NQ'ers we have finalised the details for reusable nappy week. I will post in general but thought I would let you know here save hopping all over the place (no one is profiting so hope that's OK)
    - shopping centres at Castletown, Willows
    - Market day Sun 19th Oct 8-1pm Cotters Market in the city (The Nappy Bucket, Sustainable Hemp + Cuddlesncloth + others to confirm)
    - Picnic on The Strand 12:30-3pm raffles, and meet many of the WAHM who make or sell cloth nappies in NQ

Gotta run only 3 days till we leave for Brissie and SOOOOO much to do

Nelle - I know what you're talking about re: the wind, I ran outside yesterday to get them all off the line when I heard what weather was supposed to be coming. Said to DP I don't care what other stuff gets blown to Kansas but not my nappies!!

Saram - How many icons have you found? I still haven't been back since my enthusiastic (aka addicted) first day.

Its even more so when they change their user names!!

Ok, Emailed Itti bitti to cancel my order & have now extended it LOL.
Im going to trial Isla & see if I can pin point & actually prove the Ittis are to blame.
So putting them away for the next fortnight & using my others & see how it goes then put her back in the itti if all goes well & see what happens.

    Fingers crossed.!

rogls! I hate changing my name, I used another nick for about 10 years but if I have a daughter, I want that to be her name, so thought I'd better use something else ... no idea what ... then a bloke @ work started calling me Kazbah so that was it

Pip's hopefully going to sleep tonight. Got asked so many times at work about the bags under my eyes I started replying I was changing my name to Gucci so I could sell them for a profit.

    WoHB - snoozywun of course!

Oh yay that you're keeping the ittis FJ - cos you got them when there was also the discount, too good to pass up! Think about it - if it IS the suedecloth, and you have to onsell, it's not like you'll have any trouble selling them!

Good for you Ness, sounds like you've been busy!!

    Great username Mel.

Better go shower, I've been trying to shower at nights, because if I wait for a spare moment to shower in the mornings, I don't get out of my pj's for a loooong time. Better to roll out of bed looking slightly feral and get dressed. :P
