4.2kg hey... hmmmm sound slike a challange LOL

Well, I just made some more breastpads (thanks for the tip Maz, worked a treat) & I now have 14 pairs of 13 pairs of Bamboo Breastpads LOL, Plus another 3 or 4 that are hemp.
    Think thats enough? LOL

I did some more prewashing of little nappies today. ahhh so cute hanging on the line.
God I want this baby out. Not because im sick of being pregnant, I could be pregnant for years at a time I think. But just so I can have a new little bubba to hold & hug & smell & kiss & have on my breast & well, to sit & look at for hours on end.
Oh and to put all these little nappies on!

    So so clucky

    Yay Katones!!! Congratulations!!

Ange - I got a lou lou from B4B early on in this MCN caper & as I didn't have too much to compare it with I thought it was grand... ordered 3 more but they weren't/aren't quite the same & all four are now relegated to the 'only if desperate' pile. They have a huge strip of velcro all along the top & the sides which make them hard to do up & stiff, plus we've had leaks most times we've used them. HTH.

    Hi All -

Very bummed tonight as the sticky vibes didn't work! AF arrived with great gusto this afternoon/evening and today was only day 27 of my cycle and I'm normally a 32-40 day gal so not sure what is going on there! VERY BUMMED!!

Oh well, the positive of the situation is that it gives DH and I another full chance before DS and I just off to America to see my family in November for three + weeks!

No real nappy related news to share - have been drooling over several yummy looking nappies on B4B but sadly have no money and since no one is interested in paying my husband the money he deserves or buying the stuff I'm selling on ebay I'm going to have to just keep admiring them from the web!

Okay I'm in a BAD mood tonight so I'll sign off!

Congrats to Katones for the birth!! There does seem to be a rush of babies!

re the moogoo - I am a bit obsessed!

For Pip, I have 3 lots.

The "skin milk" which is the lightest for every change. Keeps his bum supple! Plus its in the tube, lasts us about 2 months.

The "full cream" which I use at home every night before bed and when he wakes in the morning. It's a bit heavier, but very soothing and nips any hint of redness in the bud!

There's also the "soothing cream" which has cleared up the only bad set of nappy rash we got in 2 days - and that was the blistering on contact teething poo!

Like I said, I'm slightly obsessive, and I also use the moogoo soap with oatmeal for everyone! And will start with the shampoo & conditioner soon.

For our hand wash, I use Billy the Goat liquid soap

Oh yeah, I use the moogoo oil cleansing method on my face, only started it last week, seems pretty good

WoPB - sposie, DH put him to bed.

I just realised how l wonderful it is that DH empties poo in the loo - sposie or cloth.

    Maz - thanks.

Aww Heidi, all the best for next cycle.

Yay Kat!! Congratulations! 4.2kg, noice effort, Riv was that, it's a great weight because there's not so much stress about them gaining weight early, they've got a good reserve! All the best settling in.

FJ, surely you'll be next, I haven't missed anyone else before you have I? Not long now.

Thanks for asking after me guys, me being away is actually a great sign (for me anyway, you guys don't get to bask in my radiance though ), I was getting a bit 'meh, sigh' about being a housebound mumma, so I'm trying to get out and have a life, and have some purpose, if that makes sense! I should be around most weekdays, I'll try to remember to pop in here and say boo.

Just give me a kick up the butt if I go missing again.

Hope everyone's well, and has a great week lined up ahead of them! How's the packing going Christy?

WOTB's: Not sure, mum put them to bed while we were out (she babysat), apparently Si's in something purple, so I'd say a Tots Bots. Possibly Riv in a sposie...

ALIOOPS - i used microfleece liners on top of the prefolds with the nb bilby, it's not 100% but it helps. the Little Squirt got the rest of it. Was sooo glad i had the little squirt.

AJP - we use washing powder in our front loader, what are you unsure about?

MAZ - hon, what has Jed done to deserve the frying pan???? LOL

    KATONES - CONGRATS HON!

CHRISTY - hmmm, so if you're staying with MIL, you will access to a washing machine immed - BUT - if you are nervous about staying with her, are you worried she won't be ok with you using her machine to wash MCN?

would the car trip be two days and two nights?
or one day, two nights of driving?
i'm assuming 24/7 nappies for Jovie, only night trainers for Matilda?
If Matilda doesn't normally poo at night, so the night trainers would only be wet, not pooey, she sounds easy enough.
Does Jovie poo on schedule? or randomly?
Do you put or coudl you put flushable liners in her nappies for the drive?
if you don't have flushable liners, i could send you some easy peasy. No point buying an entire roll, if you usually don't use them.
For babies doing "formed poos", the flushable liners, when you are away from home, make flushing the poos so easy, you just pick up the liner from each end (where there is no poo obviously), and drop into the loo at service station toilets, or wherever you stop at public toilets along the way.

NESSA - congrats to your SIL

US - i tried on a pair of size 1 bestnless trainers on bilbs today - they fit great - wonder how long before she'll be ready to try using them? i am dubious about the foam bit, but thought i would get one pair for when it all kicks off. the thought of having to buy the trainers in a rush, when she shows the signs, does worry me a bit (spot the control freak here!).

Kazbah - i love the moo goo too! first time in my life, i have NOT had split ends! their hair products are working really well on me. i've had two haircuts in the year i've been using it, and both times, i was all ready "Yes, cut off all the spilt ends, two inches if you HAVE too" - as has happnede for EVER, and both times, the hairdresser has said to me, "You don't HAVE any spilt ends, what hair products do you use?".

LP - i feel your pain, my dh also gets a disgustingly low hourly rate for what he actually does.

WOTBB: kester kovers aio - there are some lovely ones on the possum pouches site the other day i looked, pity we don't need any more night nappies!!! Our medium long is acting like the "everlasting all day suckers". We're on the same setting from over a year ago, she will be in this until tt-ing easily.

Mel- i found the website really confusing too! I emailed the lady and she was really helpful.

To fix nappy rash- it is the soothing cream you want. you have to scroll down and you'll find it.

    MOOGOO!
For every day use : skin milk or full cream milk.

for nappy (or any other!) rash: soothing cream

But to be honest, I've only needed the soothing cream when he had rash blisters as I've found the full cream milk keeps him healthy. I did get the skin milk cause its in a tube, and handy for the nappy bag.

Caro (you remember Caro?) put me onto MooGoo cause she swore by the infant scalp cream for cradle cap.

Well It looks like its about to bucket down here, and on the tv traffic report they said the rain was heavy over the bridge. OK. the radar is not looking good. No nappies in the sun today I think. Or playdates at the park. Doh.

Gigi - I bought one last week, did its first wash yesterday and its so long! Can't wait to try it.

WoHB - BBB with BB PUL cover (suprise!)
