tanty central here - typing one handed as DS is draped across my lap whinging and whining. i have absolutely no idea what the issue is so i'm just ignoring the outburst at the moment.

we have joined the sore bottom crew. he has three weeping sores on his bottom. i'm going to put him in sposies at night again as that is when they seem to give him the most trouble and then i can slather him with cream.

some sort of insect (i think) bit me on my right eyelid yesterday afternoon and it is red and swollen today - itchy and sore at the same time if that makes sense.

had some issues with a person i thought was a friend yesterday too which has left my head spinning so i'm just not in a good place right now.

to add to everything we are flat stinking broke. have been trying to sell some stuff on ebay and have nad two non-paying bidders. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

okay off to the shops to go to the post office.

wohb: i can't even remember - but he has a BBH PUL cover over it!

Aww man Heidi. Hope you can sort things out with your friends. Most of our tantys here come from tiredness or thirst/hunger - I guess we're lucky, most of our hysteria can be fixed with a drink.

    Hi all again,
Back from the post office and about to pack up and head for home I think. It was an office day today and I've spent the day listing numerous items on ebay and eating half a block of chocolate to try to drown my sorrows! *grin* I must admit I'm feeling slightly better.
DS fell asleep in the pram on the 20 minute walk to the shops, remained asleep while I was in the post office, and was STILL asleep when I got back to the office. I have listed the last three items I had in mind to sell in peace and quiet! He is actually STILL asleep as I type this now - I will regret my decision to let him sleep when he wakes frequently tonight!! He has been asleep for almost an hour and a quarter which is VERY unusual for him. I hope it doesn't mean he is coming down with something!
As for the situation with the person yesterday - it is sort of making me re-evaluate who are my real friends. The point she made was valid - perhaps I just took it the wrong way - but even so I still feel cranky about the whole thing. But it does cause me to take stock of me and who I am and how I live my life so that is a good thing. Sorry, I know it isn't making much sense what I'm saying since I haven't explained really what was said to me but it doesn't really matter so I'll stop rambling about it. If anyone REALLY wants to hear all the sordid details you are welcome to PM me!
Hmmmm - nappy related news - I don't really have any except that I was really stinking pleased that DS was back in nappies full time and now he has a rash! I don't even have a clue what caused it. He'll be in sposies the whole time we are in the states so I'm annoyed to have him in sposies now. But I'm also sick and tired of him waking in the middle of the night crying because his bottom is sore and begging for a nappy change.
Okay, I'm going to sign off, pack up and head for home.
Thanks for the kind words and the hugs Nelle - it cheered me up!
I think I'll be skipping mother's group tomorrow too and heading to the doctor if my eyelid doesn't look at least some better in the morning!

WOHB: the same nappy as my previous post which will probably leak while he is sleeping - and I remembered that it is a Cheeky Butts nappy! still with the same BBH PUL cover too!

Have I said before how well the IB fits Jovie???? OMG... its magic. DH said "Dear God its beautiful" in true Zoolander fashion.

So now we are looking at selling some nappies so we can order some or find some more IB PUL larges for our big girl! Jovie is 14 kg and hopefully TT so maybe we shouldn't bother... but they are perfect. She can climb and do heaps more than she can in the BBB.

Geessss i think I must have forgotten to strip wash to....... no offence Gigi but hey Ali we've all said how to strip wash in the past hon...you know you can ask any of us again. Jsut hot water, a drop of washing up liquid and you keep rinsing until its clear. Or you can do the old vinegar and bi-carb wash in hot but its not reacomendded to do to many of them. Have a Q for you...CT's what are they lined with? Is there a chanch of getting one with organic velour at all? They are a nioce fit on my little bugger

Christy - I am so glad you love the IB....As soon as I saw the person put it down as their swap I knew it was the perfect one for you.

hey Nettie - you got so many nappies cause you sent so many out woman!!

LP - honey hope that tonight improves for you babe and I have to tell ya...my kids fight over that dame blanket now lol

christy - I wish the IB would fit Nina. She's about 14.8kg, but only the bbh fitted fit her as her hips are too wide for any aio's. A shame really, cause I love IB's.

Well my girl is pretty much tt, so I'm thinking of selling half of her stash of bbh fitted. She has something like 45 of them, and I don't think I'll use them all with Emily, as I have heaps of Magicalls for her, and getting some large ib's for her.
And I can't believe that Emily is out of her medium IB's already! She's only 5 months old. She's such a little porker.
