Have I said before how well the IB fits Jovie???? OMG... its magic. DH said "Dear God its beautiful" in true Zoolander fashion.

So now we are looking at selling some nappies so we can order some or find some more IB PUL larges for our big girl! Jovie is 14 kg and hopefully TT so maybe we shouldn't bother... but they are perfect. She can climb and do heaps more than she can in the BBB.

Geessss i think I must have forgotten to strip wash to....... no offence Gigi but hey Ali we've all said how to strip wash in the past hon...you know you can ask any of us again. Jsut hot water, a drop of washing up liquid and you keep rinsing until its clear. Or you can do the old vinegar and bi-carb wash in hot but its not reacomendded to do to many of them. Have a Q for you...CT's what are they lined with? Is there a chanch of getting one with organic velour at all? They are a nioce fit on my little bugger

Christy - I am so glad you love the IB....As soon as I saw the person put it down as their swap I knew it was the perfect one for you.

hey Nettie - you got so many nappies cause you sent so many out woman!!

LP - honey hope that tonight improves for you babe and I have to tell ya...my kids fight over that dame blanket now lol

Now iM wondering if any cloth mama's are gonna be setting up a stand at this baby expo and Ange TEXT me with the specials tomorrow nite woman!!!

christy - I wish the IB would fit Nina. She's about 14.8kg, but only the bbh fitted fit her as her hips are too wide for any aio's. A shame really, cause I love IB's.

Well my girl is pretty much tt, so I'm thinking of selling half of her stash of bbh fitted. She has something like 45 of them, and I don't think I'll use them all with Emily, as I have heaps of Magicalls for her, and getting some large ib's for her.
And I can't believe that Emily is out of her medium IB's already! She's only 5 months old. She's such a little porker.

Ali - I had leaks on the HW of my WM and turned out it wasn't a problem with the hose etc., it was the microcircuitboardthingy that was making it drip (go figure).

have worked out a way for DH to put cloth on Pip. Only buy "cut for cloth" clothing that only stays up over cloth bum

WoHB - bubblebots night nappy & fj cover (i love that cover)

no offense taken Maz, i get embarrassed when sometimes references are made to me (made innocently, but), as if i'm the "go to person" - cos i regard this thread as a community - and there are heaps of us on here that have been using MCN for a good while, and feel confident enough to help others - i feel like we're a team - to help the newbies - so when i get singled out, i feel awkward and unsure how to handle that. Especially cos i don't want all the other people on here to feel left out. I like team sports better than individual sports!

i know lots of it is just joshing but i'm a sensitive soul and the comments always make me worried "how will the other people feel about that?". Cos if you knew me IRL, i hate to offend anybody.

NESSA - i'm sure MJ will be very spunky in any of her ittis.

CHRISTY - is the PUL IB for Jovie or Matilda? (I cannot remember what size Matilda is these days).

MY secret swap arrived today - the norty SS had done express post and everything ! i really don't expect my swapper to go into debt to post stuff to me! but thank you anyhoo. i am rapt with my swap, Maz you must have had SO MUCH FUN organising this! cannot believe how perfectly it has worked out! BIG APPLAUSE for the organiser! Wooot Maz!!!

Is Mat reacting to organic velour Maz?
The cute tooshies bamboo delights is bamboo velour next to the skin as far as i'm aware.

FJ - is Isla TT=d? If i had any nb sposies i would send them to you, gave mine away long ago. we had bambo nature for first five days (in hospy - dh refused to cart mcn back and forth from hospy).

PINK - sorry you're suffering the after c-section affects. i had as mnay things at home up on boxes, or shelves to make them higher, to reduce bending down. Even had the washing machine and drier raised - that was brilliant.

c-section is the equivalent of major abdominal surgery, i have no idea how you would go about "being gentle with yourself" when you have a toddler as well! Hope you dh is home and you are getting good support.

LIL P - sorry to hear about your eye, hope the doc can clear that up for you. So hard to get anything meaningful done when your eye is itchy and sore.

ALIOOPS - hope your washing machine dramas are over soon, what a drag - house all set up but can't wash MCN! grrr to that.

Gigi PInk had the accidental home birth and Katones had the c/s

Matilda's TT during the days now which is fantastic, still wants a pull up overnight and still wee's in them.... I know someday we are going to have to kick the pull up habit... but maybe when life gets a bit less crazy and I get a waterproof mattress protector.

Jovie, however, is 14kg!!! OMG! Huge heffalump.

Gigi, No, Isla has somewhat lost interest. Or more that she has realised its more fun to just keep doing whatyour doing & wee on the floor.
I was mostly giving her so much nappy free time as she has that rash I couldn't budge, which is all good now. She was doing really well with very few accidents & then one day she just went ahh bugger it, heres as good a spot as any.
But like your Bilby she is only 10kg maaaaayyyybe 11 at the very most. So on the 13kg TT thing she still is a little bit off.
I also figured that COme baby, things will go outt the window a bit anyway so why push it now, just re doit all in a few months time KWIM.

Christy, have you tried Jovie in a sposie overnight? Isla is sleeping soooooooo much better now. I haven't gotten up to her once since swtiching. Its F**king GREAT! lol

FJ Jovie only slept 4 hours last night *groan* still sick and up all night... even laying on top of us, she lays there and cries. I may take her to the GP yet again today... Over it.

So ummm no not yet LOL I thought there was no use changing it as we wouldn't know if it made a difference or not yet.

Hey PP! Prefolds are great when you find your groove. I always did the trifold fanned out, but DH just did (I think it's called) the Bikini twist. Basically you lie bub on the flat prefold, and twist it once between their legs. Does that make sense? I can do one of my Instructograms? if you need.

Christy, that sounds heartbreaking mate. Hope you guys all get some health and sleep soon.

Can't think what else I was going to say. Just remembered I need to call Rans, I was going to get up with him at 7am, but I think I was somewhat of a sleep-krang from memory, so I probably need to call, find out what I said, and then apologise for it.

PP - I'm so glad everything is going well there!!!!

hey, can anyone tell me some sized all in ones - that aren't too expensive!!! i've been thinking about my nappy problem for day care and - thanks to Ash - I have sorted out 5 of them but just need a few more..

I was going to go with sized BumG's - cos I think it'll take a while for her to get to 7kgs - not sure what she is now - but she's the same build as her brother who fits into medium IB's - so i think I'll get more use out of the smalls at the moment than buying mediums..

But are there any others that everyone recommends? Sized AIO's? Bar MD's and BG's?

Sized AIO's? Um...Bubblebubs, Ittis (sewn in are simpler), HoneyBoys, Magicalls, Rumpster Oh's, Swaddlebees, VeryBaby, WildChild Daydreamers...

Will come back as I think of more.

(BumG AIO's aren't a bad option considering they're on sale at NN currently, if there's any left in the size you want)
(BerryPlushes are AI2's, but still a pretty darned good option, and not hard to use)
