Sized AIO's? Um...Bubblebubs, Ittis (sewn in are simpler), HoneyBoys, Magicalls, Rumpster Oh's...

Will come back as I think of more.
Ok got a few bubblebubs (bit too expensive - eek!), ittis - got heaps but didn't want them to bother with snaps cos of the whole wing droop thing that we get if its not put on correctly and I don't trust them to take the time and I don't want either kid to pee over everything!!

Never tried a honeyboy - where do I get them from??

Magicalls - dont' work for us..

Rumpster - don't know anything about them.. tell me MORE.. LOL

Rumpsters are pricey too. Most people who have them like them. I think they're at Darlings Downunder...and perhaps a few other places.
Not sure where you'll get HoneyBoys from...can you sew, by any chance?

Maz - thanks for the tip!!!!! I'll have a look. I have some swaddlebees pockets - but one is a medium which doesn't fit DS anymore (yay he actually grew out of one!) but is too big for DD yet....

Need to have more children me thinks..

Gigi PInk had the accidental home birth and Katones had the c/s

Matilda's TT during the days now which is fantastic, still wants a pull up overnight and still wee's in them.... I know someday we are going to have to kick the pull up habit... but maybe when life gets a bit less crazy and I get a waterproof mattress protector.

Jovie, however, is 14kg!!! OMG! Huge heffalump.
thanks Christy - i try SO HARD to keep all the people (both names, onscreen and real, plus their stories) straight in my head, but i find it impossible to keep the right story with all the different names!!

i read all about Pink's amazing homebirth - i SHOULD remember that! and still - my brain is like a sieve! how embarrassment!!! i don't mean to offend by forgetting, it just happens.

Jovie is NOT a heffalump, just a healthy bub who is prolly MILES taller than bilbs - who is a shrimp (as in, a real shortie). She's got such chubby cheeks, she sure is in no danger of being underweight.

Christy, i bought my first trainer for bilbs, and to my surprise, it's just like a PUL pocket nappy, but with a MUCH narrower pocket stuffing opening, and the do up part is different - i was so surprised when i saw it in real life. So it made me think - how does this differ from her wearing a pocket nappy? ANd i couldn't actually fathom how she could pull it up and down by herself, the waist band would need to be wider elastic for that to work i reckon. i still have lots to think about vis a vis trainers.

Ness and I have just been to the Reusable Nappy Week event in our region, lovely to get to cuddle all these tiny bubs and meet the toddlers. MJ was looking divine in red minky (wot a superbabymodel!!). Met some people from other forums too, funny to find out their REAL names, instead of the forum names. But i had no bilby with me, so no avatar pic for them to recognise! Destructor Bilby was in childcare, where her arms could not reach and thus destroy! the nappy displays!!

PINK - when you say you are nervous about Ashley being around home, just in fitteds, - i am doing that with bilbs, she is nearly two, poos are formed MOST of the time, i am finding with WELL FITTING fitteds, it is no problem. Wihtout the cover on top, i SMELL she has done business quicker too. I was also very scared of the messes that would occur with NO COVER time, but it's turning out better than i expected (but i dont' have a nb to attend to as well!).

but if Ashley still has very runny poos every time, i would wait also.

ARIMEH who wuz GUDI - fitteds AIO"S?
wot about all in two's would you consider those?
Many AIO's are actually AI2's when you see them IRL. e.g the snap in dlish
i like how fast they dry e.g dragonflymagik minky hidden pul AI2's - side snaps
    the size 2 fits a wide weight range of 7 - 16kgs - excellent i think
also bits for bots does that same sizing, in a FRONT snapping quick dry AI2
so they ARE sized nappies, but a very wide weight range - many kids are not even IN nappies (day time) by 16kg).

and Kester Kovers AIO's (which are really ai2's cos of teh snap in trifold) - that's another one. But they are more typical sized nappies, the weight range for each size is not as wide as the bits for bots and dragonflymagik. But they avoid wing droop cos of clever snap design on the front.

Cushie Tushies are a AIO front snapper, not sure of the sizings.
CGR's are front snapping AIO, they are sized.

babysoftlandings has a mixed pocket package, where you buy four OSFA pocket nappies (you pick the brands) for a package price. We use pockets for childcare, pre-stuffed. that is like having the staff put on a AIO cos they just put ONE thing on your bub.

i forget whether you are after aplix or snaps closing type - oh well, there's a few brands for you. i reckon once your bub is past 7kg, the size 2 jobbies are great value.

to cut down the "surprise" factor, of when they arrive, trying them on your bub and thinking, whoops i didn't realise ....... when i looked at the online photo . . . . .
i email the makers and ask
    "what is the crotch width"?
    "what is the rise"
any7thing else i can't work out from the photo (sometimes there is only a photo of the back view and i can't see how the MCN closure is)
so i can work out - before ordering - if they will suit my bub or not
a $3 tape measure from the haby aisle at woolworths (where safety pins are sold) will get you a tape measure.
this has saved me buying many things that really would not have suited my bub.
(took me 12 months to figure out this is what i needed to do!!!!).
i was sick of having to send stuff back (po$tage) and selling brand new things (making a lo$$). I was surprised how willing and helpful the WAHM's and nappy site sellers were, to help me out with measurements, wanting to make sure i chose stuff that really did suit bilbs.

    GUDI - honeyboys?
i just heard the lovely CATNAPS honeyboys are no more (sad)
but Cherub's Kiss is still open - hard to find them in stock though
she also has a store on ozebaby and sells on the gossamer dreams site once a month (hyena sale time).
Some clever chooks on this thread sew their own Honeyboys!
The rise is high on the HB and the crotch was too wide for us (in the medium) but they are great on many bubs. bilbs suited the small one really well (at the end of that weight range). it was the only AIO we used in the runny poo phase, that we didn't get leaks with - very impressed. love that malden mills windpro.

Ali there is no need to make a strip wash sticky when there is a forum dedicated to washing and maintenance which is full of the info you require. https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...g-maintenance/
The search function works wonderfully well too!

gigi - yeah I was just after the aplix closing ones - cos snaps take longer and aren't as nice for people that have no idea really (just going by DH's reluctance to use ones with snaps and also my mum and MIL!!)

I ended up just getting a few more AIO's BumG's for her - the pockets are still a little bulky on her - even though they are great for DS and he takes them to daycare - once she gains a little beef - I should be able to use them for her too - and HOPEFULLY he will be nearing toilet training and he won't need as many....

Couldn't help myself and got some more GK's too.. lol

Oh and i used the KK the other night Gigi!!!! I was most impressed - used it on DS even though I think it was only a medium that I brought? Fit him fine.. LOL.. I can see why its a night nappy cos it was pretty bulky on his little butt.. lol

mel - thanks about my little man...he's cheeks are so red atm and he has a bum to match but alas he finally has a tooth.

Gigi and Ness - I hope you both had a wonderful time today at your RSN function...the girl who was organising the one here never got in contact with me or some of the other girls quiet disapointing

One more sleep and im in Melbourne...i can hardly wait!
