I got some sort sort of fluffy mail today! My sugarbooger Berry vines nappy bag.
Looks good but to be honest I not that big of a fan of the colour/pattern not really what I was expecting from the photo. But alls good, it will grow on my Im sure. The bag it self is nice & big & has lots of pockets etc. can't wait to stuff it with nappies & stuff LOL. Not sure I will even be able to fill it LOL. ITs bigger then I would normally buy too.
hmmmm, hopefully it sits on the pram ok.
Gee I sound really disappointed in it don't I? LOL

I put the baby seat in the car today (well last night but then changed it again today lol) so really baby can come when he is ready. The only thing we still don't have ready for him is a name LOL. Although DH is really Keen on "Iain" but we'll see, Im not that keen on it but could probably live with it. But agian we'll see what he looks like.

Isla is tryingout her new (swap) abby grow night nappy LOL. I figured Im not tempting fate by trying it over night. sleep is more important to me right now. So she can run around with it on during the day. Must say its a really nice fit. Might have to hyena some more.

Ali there is no need to make a strip wash sticky when there is a forum dedicated to washing and maintenance which is full of the info you require. https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...g-maintenance/
The search function works wonderfully well too!
Thanks Hun. Anyone know where the switch to turn my brain back on is? Serious Pg brain going on here!!

Maz you have a wonderful time away!!!

Just got back from taking Jovie to the hospital... I only have 4 nappies in the nappy bucket since Monday. The GP said she was dehydrated & needed fluids so I went. They didn't believe me on the amount of nappies & I said "She's in cloth, see?? I would know" and then they started listening. They gave her heaps of pain relief & then she sat up & drank heaps! WT? I've been working day & night to get fluids into her! She has a middle ear infection now, which is why she's been cranky all day!

and btw - don't you HATE it when they can get fluid into them when you have been trying everything to get them to drink...

Well i have decided i havent made my prefolds properly.
    I did them30 x 40cm
and they are not wide enough to snappi !!

So i am resorting to padfolding them in a cover. Which is ok until the runny squirts happen!

What, even if you pull the ends out at the back and front? I had to pull the corners out at the back AND front with Si.

    Ditto Nelle

I pulled the back corners out and folded them over the tummy front.

I cant understand why your prefolds arent working hun

I was folding them into like a triangle with a flat front so i have the back full width (30cm).
BUt as they are too long for my little tike i have to fold the front over to reduce the length and then it is hard to have edges pulled out as it is doubled over .. if that makes sense?

Try folding the back over, inwards, so that it will help catch any blowouts out the back. Should make things easier.

    Hi All!
DS is still in sposies at night as he still has a couple of sore spots on his bum. But he is sleeping some better so that is worth it.
My eye was swollen up good and plenty this morning so I was off to the doctor immediately and it is some sort of infection. I'm not on oral antibiotics and eye drops FOUR times a day! My eye isn't as sore but itches like crazy. The good thing is DH said the swelling was down a lot when he got home from work!
Sorry - nothing too nappy related to report - I still feel yuck. Skipped mother's group this morning - primarily about my eye but also because of the friend issues I'm having. SIGH...

WOHB: sposie and lots of curash cream

fluffy mail today! another widdlewun - blue hibiscus with matching singlet. Unfortunately not enough time to wash b4 tomorrow, but hey. DH thinks I should slow down the buying ... but there's xmas & st patricks' day yet! Ahhh well, least most of my nappies are OSFA

DH was trying to do a cloth bum waddle and not succeeding - I was telling him he wouldn't see that with just sposies! AND we have a babysitter once a month now on Mondays - the day I have to work from home with Pip! WOHOO! So I'll convert their kids into using MCN - pockets / AI2s i think Or should I include a couple of sposies? Arhhh.

Maz - such red little cheeks! So elf-like in time for chrissie photos! Where's the tooth?

Gigi - sounds like you enjoyed your function today!

    So excited about tomorrow.

Pink - which covers are you using with the prefolds? i used them with leg gusset covers mainly, padfolded, and that got excellent pootainment - and bilby sure did try that theory out ALOT.

    we had 30 x 30 for nb, and 30 x 40 for later on.

LilPrec - good to hear your eye is improving

Christy - ear infections can really sneak up on you. i'm glad Jovie is on the mend.

Have you worked out which brand was the Austin Powers MCN today Ness (shagadelic one?).

I had another dream (making that 4 now)that the baby is a girl. This time I once again gave birth unexpectedly to a baby girl that the best way to describe her was that she looked like one of the "baby Brats" dolls. She was cute & all but thats what she looked like, with blonde hair.
I don't know why I keep having these dreams. Every "baby" dream I have had the baby is a girl.
I am very comfortable with the baby being a boy so its got me a little baffled.

I think I am givign up on the Longies being part of the outfit he wears home. I looke din Big w yesterday & they did have a few of those Polo tops you saw christy but only down to 000 & they looked too big for a NB.
Plus I was also thinking that if he comes home it them, then they go in his keepsake box & then he will rarely get to wear them AND then I can sell/swap them on.
If Only I could find a nice coming home outfit. I have a couple that I don't mind but I really want the one, not just the "that will do" . Same with his nappy, what nappy should I put on him first as I will want to keep that special too LOL. But I don't really want the "my first nappy" theme
I want something cute & orginal...

Poor Isla just fell out of bed. She was in mine as she woke early this morning & came in for achat. So it was a pretty high fall LOL. She is ok though, just a rude way to wake up.

Im going to bleach my hair today, try & get it back to a more natural colour. DH wants me to be a red head again. Said he will cut his hair if I go back to red. Little did he know I have been planning to do that anyway so I said Ohhhhh OK! Poor guy has this thing about growing his hair long again. It was long when we met 12 years ago & he cut it off about 4 years into the relationship & I think has wanted it long ever since. It was his choice to cut it to, I was devastated when he came into work with all his curls gone.
But now to grow it, it has to go through that unprofessional scruffy look & in a uni library, its just not a good look.

What do people think of using Velcro as the closure for wet bags? I was going to make a heap with draw strings but I can't find the time to get to spotlight for the toggle thingsso I can pull it shut. So I thought doing them so they have velcro. I only need to make a couple.

Those who have the sugarbooger bag (I know of at least 2 of you) so you use it as your "everyday bag"? Like toss your keys, wallet etc in it? It sjust seems soooooo big. I just can't see me needing such a big bag but then I am obviously forgetting a few things about having a NB! LOL
