    Bottom Balm Question!

    girls,

Is that "Natures child bottom balm" for $15 any good? I'm thinking of ordering some... just getting organised.... and it's safe to use on ALL MCN's I imagine??
Do you only use it when they have the start of a rash??

Ren - dunno, depends whats in it. When in doubt - use a liner We use some stuff that is made in Maleny - and it just absorbs into the skin - so I *think* that is safe cos its not a barrier cream. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!!!

Nelle - one word - ewwwwwwwwwww

Christy - so happy you found a place - hope its not one of those $800 ones!! How much do you want for the honeyboy???

Ok ok so I went a little crazy at the expo, but it was fun
    We got....
    2 itti bitti AIOs
    3 cushie tooshies
    3 tot bots
    1 thirsties cover
    1 tot bot cover
and now Im wishing I got more ittis

Went to the Worlds greatest pram stroll on Sunday at Berwick & the flag they used to start everyone off was a flat tied to a pool cue

We had our first Mothers group yesterday & someone needed a nappy change & I got heaps of Qs about her fluffy IB so I have to take in some websites for a few of them next week

Gigi - When I get home from somewhere I empty out the nappy bag & repack it except for nappies and put it next to the front door. Then when Im about to leave I throw in however many nappies Ill need. I have a small pack of travel wipes in the car for cleaning hands etc if we stop somewhere so I can used those if we are desperate for wipes & I dont have any in the nappy bag. Ive also got a small emergency bag with some disposable change mats I got given in it & a couple of sposies. I havent had to use it yet but its there if I need it.

Nelle - eww on the pooey carpet. I think Maddi's caught something coz shes been chucky the last 2 days & she isnt normally.

QM - yep it was the Imse Vimse swimsuits I got, but I already had a MD swim nappy so I only got the top/dress thingy

Ren- Sorry havent used Natures child bottom balm.
Has anyone used the aromababy one? Is it any good? I got 2 little sample tubs with the nappies I bought at the expo

Maz & Sammi - hope you enjoyed your hotel

    Hope everyone is well.

I best go hang out some nappies while someone is asleep

The one made with beeswax? Mmmm smells so yummy - you can use it as lip balm too - if that's the one you're talking about, I've got it and it's good. Makes a good waxy waterproof barrier if Riv has an open sore, but doesn't clog the nappy.

Riv's been particularly destructive this morning, so very glad they're down for a nap.

    Hello ladies!

Nelle - erks on the carpet. Not good. Erk. Erk. Erk.

Maz - not a problem, my pleasure!

    Sal - woooot!

Us - well my starbumz arrived!!!! DH thinks they're gorgeous. Sammi, I was exhausted on Sunday, no idea how you did it!!!

I used to keep a spare sposie in the car, but when I went to use it, discovered he didn't fit into NBs any more!!! DOH! I do keep a wad of maccas serviettes in the car though, always good. Plus I'll use anything I can find to clean him with. For the "emergency" bag I only use a bandanna as a change mat - easy to fold, squash & wash. Plus works as a wipe

hehe on the ecobubs - I put it on back-to-front first time, but it was too awkward, so thought I was putting it on back-to-front with the pocket in front!!!

Hey has anyone else got an email from KK re some curling inside the stay-dry?

WoHB - flanno flat (CC) and either dalmation twinklelily for hometime or a sposie (DH packed the bag this morning).

I'm on the train!! I can't believe I can use my computer on the train!!! Teeheeeheee

Only a little dilerious. My flight was cancelled and I was stressing because I promised Matilda I would pick her up, then I started crying because I was going to let her down & if plans change on her, it is the end of the world and can cause destruction... and the quantas guy said "any luggage?" ummm... "nope" so off you go! and I got on the plane 10 minutes later and I'm in Brissy now on my way home I will be able to pick her up. I wasn't causing a scene but I just sat down & was wiping my eyes feeling so bad and they volunteered help. So good!

WOHB: no idea, but I will know soon

Thats great Christy - its nice when you get help when you least expect it!!!

Kaz - yeah I got that email. I haven't checked out the insert though - I think its hanging up somewhere... LOL

Nearly had a scare last night - thought i was out of nappies!!!! (God forbid!!)

Put a lovely fresh BBB on DD - she promptly pooed in it - so had to change it.

Put the last night nappy I had dry on DS - lovely snoozywun - he promptly pooed in it too!!!! ARGHHH!!!!

I started panicking cos nothing was dry - then rechecked the line - and decided to go with the standard BBB and extra booster on the outside of it - plus a wool cover - plus the shorties.. pmsl.. no bloody leaks with that combo... hahaha!!!!

I can't believe he didn't pee through it actually - he did last time I tried that - although I only used the BBH wool cover by itself - must of been the added protection of the shorties...

Now... need to find ones for tonight!!!!!!!

I tried to convince DH to let me buy more nappies - cos obviously I need them! - but nope.. not yet.. gotta pay off the CC first cos its up to the hilt..

Lucky I'll be back at work in a week and a half..

sounds like my CC after this weekend.....bugger!

Im gonna have to go through Mateauz's nappies and have a kull...I think 70 nappies for one little guy is way to many and it makes me lazy in the washing department.

Christy - I had panic set in when I read the first sentence until it got to the part of you being able to go home....oh how friggen awesome babe.

have pulled my dame neck out....friggen annoying!!!!!

WOMB - CT and loving it

Keeping people on the ball honey's ..heheheheheh no more babies here that shop is CLOSED!!!

Didnt have any luck with the CT on Mateauz bum....he wet through it within 1/2 an hour. Im hoping that it was cause jed washed the nappies while I was gone on the weekend and he didnt let them dry fully before folding them up IFYKWIM...i absolutely adore the print on it (assorted baby animals).

I have a line full of IB's swaying in the breeze atm...ahhh love the sight

Yeah that's what I was thinking Maz, but I was a little sus.

Well, my bloods came back today. hCG was high enough to continue my suspicion of multiples. Dr has ordered a repeat US for Saturday week.

Maz - Which variety of CT was it? I assume it has been prewashed. I sometimes find with my Cushies that I have to stretch the boosters as I hang them out.
