Nessa, If I didn't lie about the date of my last period then my due date would the tuesday. But my earliest scan said the 3rd So I was happy to stick with the 4th as what my dates would be seems my cycle wasn't down to 28 days (whichis why I lied).
But I doubt it. He is still to mobile in there to be getting ready to come out IMO

7th is a bit far isn't it FJ sorry... just teasing you, thinking back to 2 years ago when you & I were waiting for our bubs...

Mel - Jovie's had a viral poo thing going and has got a burn like thing on her bum. I did the zinc cream and liner business for a day & used a sposie overnight to keep her really dry. I would prefer the whole moogoo stuff myself, but moving has taken precidence to worrying about that right now.

Gotta love the CC - they put the d'lish on him but also a PUL cover as they thought it was too soft to be water-tight!!!! Ahhhhhh .. it felt lovely though .. mmmmmmmm

Maz - I forgot to ask how much for the repair (doh!)

    Christie - fair enough too!

I'm very, very tired. And Pip did a HUGE poo in his morning nappy after brekky that I am scared of.

And geeze you girls can talk!!!!

Oooh and I've pre-ordered a couple of widdlewuns for christmas But still need another cover I think.

    WoHB - guess!

Nope, not a snoozywun! It's a GNST I think ... with FJ cover.

Arimeh / Gudi - if the burn marks are from when you had her in a wool cover, was it a wool wrap with FOE (fold over elastic) on the legholes? SOme kids rash to FOE.

bilby gets awful burn marks near her bottom crack, when the acidic teething poos happen.

Pink - do you have leg gusset covers, do you have a Little Squirt? and how long does Ethan sleep for? at the same stage, cos we were changing bilbs every two hours, the bamboo prefold (six layers) were enough for us - i'm guessing Ethan sleeps alot longer than two hours? I was all prepared, with Malden Mills pockets, for nb sized sleep nappies, but bilbs just didn't sleep long enough to do them justice!! but we got good pootainment from them. no leg gussets but rolled fleece in the legs (i'm sure i didn't express that right - meh).

    welcome to the newbies

squidgy - i tried the eenees, not for very long, they didn't rock my world.

OMG - we just heard a big thud outside, then dh's car alarm go off (he has to park his car in this street, no-where else to put it

some moron decided to take a steel bar to the back window of the hatchback, the glass is all crackling away, i've taken photos of the big gaping hole, we're waiting for the cops to come. $500 excess to insurance company OMG. i hate living here. My car is in the very short driveway, about 10cm from pavement, so i'm lucky they didn't take the steel bar to my back window also, maybe the BABY IN CAR sign put them off doing that. oh bugger. it's a real kick in the guts to dh, he doesn't have much, but that car is his "baby".

i have no idea how to secure his car overnight - there is nowhere safe to put it with this gaping big hole in the window. he's meant to drive to work in that tomorrow - so much glass to clean up. he is gutted. More reason to move outta this neighbourhood i say. if only.

oh Gigi, that's horrid news *hugs* We've had huge problems in Melbourne with kids finishing classes for the senior year before their exams, "letting off steam" seems to really mean "criminal damage"

I think I'm adding you to facebook Gigi, maz etc ....

WoPB - soggy GNST and FJ cove. Soon to be BBB with cover. Packing a funkywun & giraffe minkytime for CC.

gigi - thats sucks about your car!
That actually happened to me twice in one year with my car. first time they smashed the drivers window to steal my poxy cd player. The second time they smashed the back windscreen with a garden gnome[. Both in the same place (out side PIL's) . and they stole my number plates!! i was fuming!!! and you are right how do you secure a car with that kind of damage!

As for nappies.. i have 3 PUL without gussetts and 2 with gussetts. I tried Mels suggestions and fanned the back out (of the ones i couldnt stretch around to snappi - some shrunk) and then have another 2 layer bamboo underneath for boosting. It did ok absorbancy time - lasted about 3 ish hours so happy and only 1 leakage into the cover. I suppose that is better than on his clothes though.

I am only using bamboo pf now - i am not going to use the flannel ones as i am over then being less absorbant. Hopefully the Magicalls nb/sml i bought will arrive soon so i can alterate with them

On the upside. I had DS in a bubblebubs small for about 4 hrs yesterday(i was out and about) and i was very impressed with the absorancy and holding poo plosions!!!

    WOAB - BBB+pul
WOEB - Bamboo prefold + Bummis

    Morning!
Sorry to hear about your car Gigi, that sux!

I ordered as mix of BBH Bamboo, Cute Tooshies with PUL and wool covers and D'Lish's for going out. I'm soo excited. How often should I be changing during the day with these nappies? Is once per feed enough if no poo? About 4 hrly? Does it depend on the baby? I'm paranoid about him getting a rash......
