Maz - i am so curious what a rainbow spider is!

Queen - a "shifty" sock monkey - is he a geezer wot flogs bent gear off at the pub (yes, i have watched "the bill" too often).

was thinking of getting a daddledoo trainer (stocking tonight) but the size 1's i like (fabric) are already sold out. hyenas got there first. i can't buy MCN any more (run out of excuses!!) so gotta get mah fix somehoo.

Kazbah - are you going to put up pics of Pip in his animal themed MCN at the Zoo?

i'm sitting here smiling, thinking of the newly arrived Iain, enjoying nb cuddles with FJ - awwww.

Beatrix - hope your eye is better today.

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me popping in here. I have a list of questions and I know you're the people to ask.

Poor little Ashlyn has had a tummy ache and now has come up in a nappy rash. Today I've been washing her bottom with chamomile tea and soft wipes and giving her as much nappy free time as possible. But by this arvo it was still worse. Any advice as to what else I can do to help? Also, if I do use nappy rash cream and liners on the nappies, do you wash the liners with the nappies or seperately?

    TIA

Um Gigi  we didn't take that many photos of Pip! But we will find the camera and upload them soon.

Man-oh-man. The blue cammo got it! The biggest poop I've ever seen. And while DH held Pip nekkid after we removed his nappy in the loo, I made a big production of dunking the nappy in the flushing water about 5 or 6 times, during which DH got peed on He's going to install my LS tomorrow!!!

Welcome back FJ and IJ! (how cute!) Is he a little booby-man? Photos please, photos!

Captain - which bum rash cream do you use on Ashlyn (gorgeous name!)? If it's a heavy zinc-based cream or petroleum-based cream (bepanthan) then it'll clog up your gorgeous cloth and you don't want that. A water-based lotion is great for cloth. If you're using liners, that's different. You can try raw silk liners (twinkle lily have some) as silk has healing properties, else maybe disposables for a little while.

    Good luck!

WoHB - moogoo MSN (some rash from that horrid, horrid poo) and GNST with FJ cover.

Thanks Kazbah, might look at some of the silk liners. But in the meantime, which water based creams do you recommend? I didn't even know you could get them.

Gigi - night nappies we currently have - 1 Sandmans, 2 Snoozywuns & 2 GNST... so you would say a fair amount right? Hmm... usually. I don't have a clothes line so they are strung up on 2 small clothes horses (packed to the brim) and stay inside the house so they don't get dry. Don't worry - I'm harpin on DH to fix the outside line for me.

QM - yeah we use the BBB for DD - so by the time I've run out of nappies for DS - I've usually run out of hers too.

Bit the bullet last night and put them in the dryer. Really have to get my clothes line!!!! grrrr...

Cat - I wouldn't worry about specific night nappies yet - not till bubs starts sleeping through anyway!!!!!!! We got lucky with Miss M - she's been sleeping through for weeks!!

    WOAB: Brown IB

Captain - I'm a fan of moogoo MSN (or moogoo soothing cream) but there are plenty out there. The silk should be raw / unbleached and is hand-washed.

Arimeh - use your pockets! they dry so quickly not in the dryer and then put the inserts in the dryer!

Maz - there's a something extra for you for the repairs you're doing for me.

Kaz - oh yeah, forgot to add to the list the GK pockets that I use too....

Still seem to run out of microfibre though.. and can't steal them all from BumG's cos I need them for daycare.. I should really just buy some more, then I will NEVER run out of night nappies...

lol mel - soon you are getting me hooked onto moo goo too! order going in friday.

    well my stash is thus:

24 NB sized - some old, some new, some borrowed, some blue all different stuff
2 panda baby - size small
2 HH sherpa - size small
3 spunky butts - size small (on order, hopefully arriving today!!)
5 magic alls - size small
    12 bum g's one size
    5 cushie tushies
8 BBH (7 bamboo, one hemp)
    3 swaddlebess organic velour eco's

6 extra bamboo boosters too..... maz's super boosters took 2 days to dry (to give you an idea of drying factor around here)

and several different size small/NB covers (about 10 all up)... some pul, some minkee (damn they are cute) and one wool.

see, stuff doesnt necessarily dry in one day here - dont really get full on direct sun on my balconies, so need to have the extra back up.... thats why I was worried about having enough! now i think i do..... what do you think?

eyeing off the sandman in purple sparkles though.... I VOW I WILL NOT BUY TILL SHE SLEEPS THROUGH!! but I am sure that would take about 2-3 days to dry here!
