Happy birthday Sammi - good day to have a baby I reckon... ;) FJ must think the same obviously!!!!
No nappy news here.... well except that I got up DH this morning cos he went to put a BumG on DS for his on the way to daycare nappy and I have told him time and time again that the BUmG's are strictly for the daycarers to PUT on him to make it easy for them - he knows how to put a snap nappy on.. grrrr... so I said unless he lets me buy more BumG's - then he has to use the snap ones.. heheheheehehehehehehe... I doubt I will get to buy more though :rolleyes:... even though we keep running out!!!!! Stupid muggy weather - makes things harder to dry!!!!!

I have a little woo hoo that's entirely non-nappy related - Euan slept from 9:00pm till 8:00am this morning, didn't even wake when we changed him and I fed him at 11:00, and stirred briefly at dawn but went back to sleep without me having to get out of bed. I'm sure such wonderful sleeping will be very short lived as we get a night like that about once every month - but WOO HOO. Even though I had a crap night's sleep because it was so DARNED HOT, it was still wonderful.

suse - if it's not red, it's not mine!! I'm always being told off by DP for only wearing red, black and white, and always dressing DS in it too. But we look cute, I tell him! I luv my spunky rockabilly baby! Lucky we dont have a DD (yet) coz I'm allergic to pink... but retro cherry print MCNs caught my eye the other day and almost made want to TTC just so I could get them! Oh, now how sad is that?!?
Nana, I live in mainly bright colours, lots of blues and have hated Pink most of my life, when I was little I wanted to be a cop so I could wear blue all the time and i wanted my room painted a deep blue. I think I went through a year of liking pink but now it is on my Meh list. And I have 2 girls who are always in pink because people get them confused if they wear blue :rolleyes:

Nope I haven't been having a baby Ali, but I have been on a mission to find the baby insert for the carseat. It hit me this morning that it was MIA. It has now been found and the carseat is back together :D

did the cow print thing a few years back. no, more to the point, I love black and white (helps when you're a chef!) but everybody thought I liked cow stuff so I got given anything and everything cow-print. I culled most of it, though. The TV was even covered in cow-print faux fur!! too much, even by my standards!

Katones HB = Honey Boy! Since Catnaps and LouLou stopped making them and Cherubs Kiss only really make the Auriels but they do have a stocking on occasion, they are almost non existent! Shame cos they are a fantastic nappy.
Nappy related postie stalking for me would be some foamy wipes wash and fabric from bubblebubs. Got some other stuff on the way too though :D

NaNa, plenty of red mcn in the world just waiting for you
- red minky in greenkids minkytimes, baby beehinds minky magicalls and blueberry pockets (they call it ruby) in OSFA and sized
- red PUL in swaddlebees pockets, happy heiny solid colour pockets, greenkids pockets, ecobubs day nappy racing red, rumperooz, fuzzi bunz, wahmies
- red wool covers in sugarpeas
- red fleece covers in tots bots
- red PUL covers in thirsties, swaddlebees (except the limited edition wraps), baby beehinds
and that's without thinking too hard, there's lots of red around in mcn!
some red nappies need washing separately, cos the dye runs (who had the Ruby mandy mac that kept running?) but if you have HEAPS of red nappies anyhoo, i don't think that would be an issue for YOU!

Just spoke to Fiona....Iain has had 2 Breast feed's and is huge according to him mummy. He has verylong finger nails which he tested out on Fiona on his way out...no stitches...just some grazing. Home tomorrow :dance:

Hugs Kat - I remember that phase oh so well. Mine's only just gone down for his afternoon nap (yeah, at 6:30pm lol) - but it's so much harder when they're that little and they won't sleep.
I got Fluffy Mail today too!!! 3 pairs of HLs for me, well the parasite, and 1 pair that were a special order, and an elephant with it's own orange minkee nappy, SOOOOO cute!! Sarah has stolen the nappy for Dolly, and Em is in love with the Elephant!!

NaNa - if you pimp PUL, be aware, wherever a needle hole goes thru, you will get leaks. If PUL is appliqued on, you'd really need to do that before the nappy is sewn together, and you'd have to reinforce the PUL behind where you applique. it's not a straightforward thing to do.
i have no reason to buy nappies, so i just "enable" - so i can vicariously live out my fantasy of having a reason to buy more nappies! we are not having any more bubs. (sigh).
Maz - i know someone who scored one of the very last Catnaps Honeyboys customs - she had it made up as a Ladybird AIO - very choice indeed, i got to see it at Reusable Nappy Week.
Kazbah - i think the new minky magicalls come in a stunning royal blue.
i can think of another stunning royal blue in the berry plush covers.

NaNa that is my kind of nappy pimping style :D It gets plenty warm enough down here for just a nappy and a singlet so plenty of opportunity for showing them off.
I'm in the mood for sewing now my fabric has arrived but I don't know if I have the energy to pre wash it all first :lol:
