the dr did sya they were small scratched but **** so friggen annoying. nothing worse then feeling liek somehitng is always in your eye

washed my sandmans.. 32 here today so will be dry in like 10min LOL

kitt3n - they are not the best fitted nappy in world - well I found it that way anyway. Had to work out which way was inside out as the snaps did up both ways? Wasn't super absorbant and not a great fit on us - but that is just us. I would go with the happy hempy instead, same fit as the PUL pockets but good absorbancy, versatile and microfleece inner - it was one of my fav night nappies

nana - red babykanga - my fav red nappy with black snaps called ladybug and I have a gorgeous red minky Maz cover which we got at xmas last year.

No exciting nappy news here although I did follow Maz suggestions and we are slowly listing our narrow crotch nappies in the classifieds (you know I never knew that was there!) - just taking me a while to get them all uploaded (and have to work the new camera out and get some pics)

has anyone found that the baby beehinds fitted hemp nappies bigger in size, i know they are OSFA.. but when i put the bamboo fitteds on Jack.. there is NO gaps in the leg holes... but today i put the hemp one on him and there was gapping in the leg holes????

well the hemp BB has held up.....

Katones I noticed the same thing when I had some hemp ones. I think it's the fabric. Bamboo is thicker and more rigid than hemp so that could do it.

Gigi, I'm not going anywhere near my stash with anything sharp! I suck so badly at sewing... will leave it to my mama, she's ace at it. I can manage to make a groovy ring sling with pockets tho, but that is definitely it.
Raven - the pimpin' of bubba's nappies, I think it'll just have to remain a daydream. I was thinking there has to be some kind of new-tech no-iron transfer method, but I stopped being a techy graphic designer right about the time I got pg. I will just keep designing them in my mind, and maybe on my puter, until someone gets me the printer that can do it! Then look out! I've already converted 3 mums from my playgroup to MCN by showing off a few fluffy things, and the rest all have nappy envy (or they do but they just don't know it yet!).

thanks for the feedback on the HH's guys - i'll let you know how they go, they were only $10 so I figured i'd ive then a go - they feel lovely I must admit. But there is only one way to snap them - maybe they have altered the pattern saram? but now I am just going to have to go and get a happy hempy!

WOTBB: 2nd night nappy and it's only 9pm, cos she did business in the first one, wouldn't meet my eye and went to hide behind the highchair, so i just KNEW she had been busy. (she doesn't grunt or give you any visible signs when business is occurring).

anyone seen websites that sell sock monkeys? spam me please, bilby has decided monkeys are very cute. In one of her fave books, No Kisses for Daddy, the central character, Baby bear, drags around his comfort toy everywhere, (plush monkey) and on every page, she points out the monkey with delight. beautiful illustrations. Yes, you caught me, i had a child just to have beautiful kids books around! LOL. She gets that book and also Bilby Moon read to her every night after bath, before bed. i might get her the new Mem Fox book "ten little fingers and ten little toes" for her birthday. Not sure if there are bilby characters but from hearing a librarian read it to some pre-kindy kids, the text is very catchy and cute.

of GIGI - Caddie from here on BB makes monkeys...they are devine...check out her store im pretty sure she has one up...

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me popping in here. I have a list of questions and I know you're the people to ask.

Poor little Ashlyn has had a tummy ache and now has come up in a nappy rash. Today I've been washing her bottom with chamomile tea and soft wipes and giving her as much nappy free time as possible. But by this arvo it was still worse. Any advice as to what else I can do to help? Also, if I do use nappy rash cream and liners on the nappies, do you wash the liners with the nappies or seperately?

Man-oh-man. The blue cammo got it! The biggest poop I've ever seen. And while DH held Pip nekkid after we removed his nappy in the loo, I made a big production of dunking the nappy in the flushing water about 5 or 6 times, during which DH got peed on :rofl: He's going to install my LS tomorrow!!!

Captain - which bum rash cream do you use on Ashlyn (gorgeous name!)? If it's a heavy zinc-based cream or petroleum-based cream (bepanthan) then it'll clog up your gorgeous cloth and you don't want that. A water-based lotion is great for cloth. If you're using liners, that's different. You can try raw silk liners (twinkle lily have some) as silk has healing properties, else maybe disposables for a little while.

Thanks Kazbah, might look at some of the silk liners. But in the meantime, which water based creams do you recommend? I didn't even know you could get them.

Well I just went stupid online shopping because I'm am peeved at myself for not getting my assignment done and now considering having to pull out of the subject all together :-) blah anyway Sam was telling me about new colours in the swaddlebees so had to get one - apparently more coming soon you can see them at weewuns.

creams we use with mcn is healing hippos and just ordered cherubs kiss - have you tried corn flour?

Gigi - night nappies we currently have - 1 Sandmans, 2 Snoozywuns & 2 GNST... so you would say a fair amount right? Hmm... usually. I don't have a clothes line so they are strung up on 2 small clothes horses (packed to the brim) and stay inside the house so they don't get dry. Don't worry - I'm harpin on DH to fix the outside line for me.

QM - yeah we use the BBB for DD - so by the time I've run out of nappies for DS - I've usually run out of hers too.

Bit the bullet last night and put them in the dryer. Really have to get my clothes line!!!! grrrr...

Cat - I wouldn't worry about specific night nappies yet - not till bubs starts sleeping through anyway!!!!!!! We got lucky with Miss M - she's been sleeping through for weeks!!
