    ok girls!! HELP

what is your little squirt stragety for getting poo out of the leg elastic part of nappies??

PP, I don't little squirt as such but I finger squirt. I hold the nappy over one hand & stretch out the elastic somehow & spray it while its stretched out. I really can't think of how I do that with one hand?? Will pay attention next time I do it.

Iain made up for the poo just before. It all went up the front. Contained by the berry plush cover though. But me thinking I will have to learn how to do the leg rolled prefold thing. As the prefold didn't hold much of it.

PP if it was caked in there then I would revert back to the scrub with an old toothbrush method.

    in love. lots of it.

    I'm so brain-dedded today, had noooo sleep last night. Teething's a b!tch.
FJ & Nelle - hmmm, silent but deadly poo-splosions... such a naughty boy thing! That happened to us twice this morning.

Gigi - PMS (no, not that kind) stands for Pantone Matching System. If you've ever seen those big swatch books with hundreds of colours in them, that's a PMS book. Easy way to reference colours, as they're all numbered. Artists and designers and printers use them, and it's what you need to make sure you're getting the colour you want especially for online stuff, coz it never looks the same IRL.
Happy birthday to your little Bilby!

um, someone asked if I went to school on the Sunshine Coast... sadly yes. Maroochy High (where all the bad girls go!). So I have no excuse for bagging Nambour, since I spent my fair share of time in the delightful neighbourhood of Pacific Paradise (what a misnomer!!). And my mum lives in Rosemount, which is practically Nambour anyway.

nappy related, nothing much... nearly all of them are soaking in the moonlight right now.

Sammi - I'll keep up the smart humour - you may laugh that bub out soon!!

PP - I sorta pull it into the toilet with one hand, and hold the other end of the nappy against the toilet with my KNEE - and then squirt with the other hand.. hard to describe, and very tricky - but I manage it.. lol

NaNa - Maroochy high huh.. hell I can't talk - I went to Caloundra High :P and DH went to Nambour High.. lol

We got teething in this house too I think.. at least.. I think that is what is wrong with him.. got a fever again.. a horrid cough.. his throat is all red (apparently) and his voice is all husky... and he just cannot get a good sleep - keeps waking up crying and when I went in there about half an hour ago he was just sobbing.. and then wailing like he was in pain, and doubling over.. and pulling his legs up and was very restless - much like he was as a baby when he had colic.. stuffs me whats goin on.. driving me mad with worry..

And as usual - little Miss sleeps all the way through the screaming - I think I have to clone her..

    hi everyone
DD wore hew new cow print HH nappy today, she looked so cute, so I just had to upload a pic of her wearing it here
And she walked (sort of) for the 1st time last night, she took 6 steps by herself!

Can I ask a question in regards to BBH fitteds? The one I bought came with 2 inserts, do I have to use both? Or would 1 be enough, and which one would be better?

WOHB - sposie, no night nappies yet

Kellie - depends on how long you are wanting the nappy to last for! I had Pip in one last night, with both boosters and it was sopping, but didn't leak ..... before I got night nappies I'd use a BBB with 2 long boosters in it overnight ...

If she's a champion wee-er, then both, but if not then why bother? (not much help am I!)

I have dry nappies everywhere except the lounge (it's the washing-free zone in the house). There is always one room free of washing so i have somewhere to escape to. (its a very sad day when the free room is the laundry!!!)

Maz - can u PM me your addy pls hun? Need to send you something in a pre-paid bag too

    for mel !

FJ - iain is one little cutie!!

to Bilby! Hey Gigi, is your DH trained to cook? Can I get one like that too?

Anyhows, I'm off to sleep, dream pretty all.

    WoHB - snoozywun.

Kellie, I just use one with Si, usually the small one. Or the big one for naps or night...or whatever's in there...he's only 7 months though.

Had a tricky night with the boys, I'm usually spoilt with chucking them down and don't hear from them til morning, but Riv must be a bit teethy I guess, and perhaps he'd unsettled Si. He also missed his arvo nap, and that well....he was diving from one end of his bed to another when I went in at about 9:30...I *think* there's a pretty encouraging silence now though...

WORB: Sposie, as usual, if you saw his poop, there would be no arguments there.
    WOSB: I think a Bamboozle.
