Well I did something else today. Not nappy related but related to the beautiful girls here who gave me beads for my baby shower. Yes I finally got my birthing beads strung up. I have tried countless times and couldn't get them to look right but I have done it. I'll upload to my blog shortly :D

I tried just about everything to get Sebi out... When i told my ob that i even forced my hubby into having sex the ob replied 'was that his idea? it doesnt work but the husbands normally suggest it' ROFL I even drove my race car up to Winton and back at speeds that i can not disclose on the forum lol and even with my super hard suspension, sebi wouldnt budge... the only thing that was budging was my bladder lol i could only get a finger between my gut and the steering wheel lol...

No more buying nappies for me for a while.. between my expensive fabric addiction, acrylic nail addiction, race car addiction and things that dont matter as much like rates on the house, school fees and those stupid household bills.. Im broke till after christmas... Even that lovely 3k from Mr Rudd is going straight on the credit card and paying the rates....

I live in Nambour (yeah I know, terrible). I know Coolum a bit - i work for a law firm in coolum and DS used to go to Mt Coolum Day Care Centre - was lovely dropping him off every day and getting to look at the mountain on my way to work - definitely better than the view in Nambour!!!!:

Well after a day of shopping, I now have even more pressies for Pip, a birthday pressie for DH, a layby mostly paid off for Pip, a layby paid off for me (lovely skirt & handbag) and a christmas layby halfway paid off. Got some interesting looks in the baby change room when I was changing Pip - taking off his BP and putting on a funkywun - bright orange inner fleece just gorgeous! He only slept for about a half hour while driving between Fountain Gate & Knox City darnit, so put him to bed when we got back here @ 5:30 and other than waking with a pooey nappy, he's been sleeping since (in nice clean nappy). Not sure whether he'll wake again .. he's in BBB plus BB PUL cover, it won't last overnight ... hmmm.

Um, nappies, yes, that's right... I have an issue with BumGs collecting lint inside the tabs bit. I'm thinking this is coz I have a dodgy washing machine which seems to create lint like it was made to do it! I don't know where the stuff is coming from but it's annoying. I wash all my MCN separate from everything else, and clean the lint filter after every wash, but it keeps happening.Why is it so??

Emily had a major blow out today in her magicall. I'm using mediums on her, but they just don't seem to be doing the job. She's been having a few leaks on and off for the past couple of weeks. I hope it's not time for large ones yet, I don't have any.

Unfortunately i went to Beerwah High up until grade 10 :shhh: Spend the last 5yrs of living in qld in Mooloolay Valley formally known as Mooloolah... What a **** adding 'Valley' on the end... Like a word like that would give the place anymore class ROFL..
I still head up that way atleast once a year as my mum currently lives in Beerwah and her folks and sisters live in Mooloolah as well.

i can't bring myself to leave three or four day's worth of washing to fold.
1. the unit is too tiny, there is nowhere to hide it in the meantime, no spare room, no spare cupboard, NOWHERE TO HIDE IT!
2. one wooden clothes horse is all i have to dry stuff on, everything, even the sheets
3. i'm so far behind with EVERYTHING else domestic - haven't really made meals for two years now, snacks don't count, so if i wasn't up to date (sort of) with the MCN, i wouldn't be up to date with ANYTHING
4. i'm thinking right about now, being obsessive compulsive about the MCN isn't such a bad thing, i need ONE thing to feel good about at least.
5. if i didn't keep up with the MCN, having only ONE child, i'm sure all you mummies with four kids would throw rotten tomatoes at me anyhoo!
Mummyto3 - dragonflymagik is a WAHM site, if you google that brand, you will find the site. I happen to have a child who really suits side snappers, and out of narrow and wide crotch brands, DFM is on the narrower side. So when i went looking for SS and narrow crotch, plus DFM use malden millls fleece for the outer, which i love, well, it ticked all the boxes for us. Plus it's a quicker drying one, you snap in a trifold, and a booster set up. Definately worth the money (for us).
Alioops - that's great that so many Townsville people use cloth, at least at home - better than not at all. Maybe they don't know about wetbags? and more compact MCN that the flats (i'm guessgin) they use at home?

NaNa - i totally get teh "must be the RIGHT red" thing. i feel the same about purple. i have emailed WAHMS to make sure if a purple is a bluey violet purple or a pinky purple - colours vary so much on computer monitors. I once bought some fleece online, called ELECTRIC VIOLET, sold as a bright colour, it arrived, a deep plum purple, so dark it was almost black! nothing like the colour swatch online.

Poor little man had a leaked out nappy when he came home last night. He came into the lounge walking like a cowbow and grizzling with the seat of his pants sopping but I still had to pin him down to take it off him. He got upset because I took off his shoes.

congratulations on making it to 2 yrs of BFing Gigi. Thats fantastic. Isla still has the odd little feed here & there. She had one while I was in prelabour. Then a little "feed" the other night but she told me (before she had even latched) that it was yukky. Mind you her new word of the moment is yukky, everything is Yuk or yukky LOL. But She latched & then just sat there while she calmed down, she was having a spaz about going to bed.
Sammi, the beads came together great. Wish I had got one! It will make a great keepsake.
