We ran out of nappies with the rain in Sydney and our dryer going up in flames :rolleyes: so we put some of Matilda's pull ups on Jovie & she loved it! She kept pulling them down & sitting on the potty... always after she had already done the wee, but I guess that is all learning.
I've gotta sew girls.... I suck at it and am getting a bit down because I can't work my machine properly, but I am supposed to sew sheets for Jovie's first day at CC tomorrow.... I may have to get the needle & thread out and sew it by hand. (Just have to sew the top sheet to the bottom sheet in one place).

Well it is stinking hot outside. I woke up sweating this morning. too hot to hang nappies right now. I plan to hang them after the girls go to bed. Will take the salt outside with me and get any toads by the line ;)
DH is away for the week, so I cant get away with not doing the nappies myself. And Em did a lovely big poo this morning :doh: I think that can wait till it is cooler too, I have put it outside ready to be squirted.

one of the ones I got from you Maz (the flames) STINKS & he has only worn it once. I had it airing & have put it on him just now & noticed how bad it stinks of wee. Its no biggy washing gleece covers after every use seems the dry so fast but I should be able to air them, shouldn't I?

I got home from the shops and the GreenKids nappy I won on b4b was here :dance: Cant wait to try it out have heard such good things about GK! :) My 4yr old sister has informed me though that I have to buy her babylegs cz she wants DS's :lol: She asked if she could wear his minkee too ;) It was hard to explain that she wouldnt fit

(I know he's sick and i should be more patient, but really... he wants to go to bed, we go to bed, then he says no bed.. dora.. boots.. so we go out and watch dora.. then he wants up.. then he wants down.. then he wants up again.. then he wants milk, I pour it, he doesn't want it, he wants cheese, I get him some, he doesn't want it.. Ness - Got the lovely card today - the girls look gorgeous!! It is on top of my telly now. Now I better get organised and see if I can manage to get cards done this year, hmmm may not happen but I will try.
FJ - I have to wash my fleece covers after 1 use too. Wool lasts longer for stinkiness in this house, but we mostly use AIO's so I only have a few fitteds and covers.
Maz - :rofl: when you need to post it you need to post it, if they dont make the boxes big enough then that's not your fault ;) If I was the AP lady I would have said well done for hanging around to make sure it all got posted!!

The little boy is in a whizzkids fleece cover & bbH as we were out and he fell asleep in the trip home (even though I got rear-ended, grrrrr) and I was OK to change cover (from BP) but not the nappy without really waking him.

I'm expecting fluffy mail this week :dance: It's been too long.
Need your advice on this. Nina is almost tt at night, but will occassionally do a wee in her sleep. We're still putting a nappy on her, until we get more organised with the bed sheets etc. Problem is, she won't let me put on a bbb because it's a nappy. And as soon as it's on, she takes it off. So I've resorted to putting on a disposable training pants, which works, because she thinks they're undies.
So are there any cloth training pants which I could use for her?

Just had a to share what just happened. Nina has only just woken, and she took her nappy off to do a wee in the toilet, and she put the nappy (disposable) in the nappy bucket :clap: Thing is, it's empty, and it's a disposable!
