Nelle I have 4 Bubble bubs, they are pretty good. I have 2 smalls,1 NB & a lge.

Yeah I have shot an email off to itti. Im sur eit will be sorted. I order 6 med & 6 lge & have 9 med & 3 lge....
They are the seconds so I dare say its the wrong labeling that the problem was. But I still would think if I ordered a lge I would get a lge thats labeled wrong, not a medium labeled as a lge KWIM

I just had to pop in and say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for the beautiful flowers that arrived yesterday.

You girls are just the best!!!

It made what has been an incredibly stressful and ultimately sad week and half just that little bit brighter.

For those that wern't aware, we found out about a week and a half ago that our little bubba wasnt growing properly and was not likely to make it. Dh and I made the heartbreaking but totally pragmatic decision to wait an extra week to at least see if we could get the embryo to a size where the scientists would be able to do gentic testing as it was too small at the first scan for them to have been able to do this. On monday the scan showed that our little one as predicted hadnt made it and I had a currette under anaesthetic yesterday morning so that they could hopefully find some answers as to why.......now we wait as it takes at least four weeks to do all the necessary tests so we go back 2 days before christmas to see if they were able to find a genetic reason why we lost this one...and then.....we try again!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but as people had been asking I thought I'd better update everyone. I am suprisingly not too bad ..... thought I would be a mess but maybe that is still to come......

Anyways to all my bellybelly 'sisters' as the card says thank you so so much for your thoughts, support and well wishes......

    Talk soon

    We'll just keep praying Mel.

Maz, I really like the GreenKids pockets. The velcro issue is only an issue at naptimes, when pretty much any mischief that can happen, happens, because mischief is preferable to sleep for a toddler.
So I just put on pants for sleep times.

    Hello girls,
Geez, I can't keep up with you. You're such a chatty lot! So please forgive me if I forget to comment on some things.

Gigi, you're so not an ungrateful cow. You are reacting the way most people would. You are frustrated and irritated. I have been much more ungrateful to DH over much less... I also know what you mean about the photos. I'm usually the one taking photos, so most of them are of DD and DH. And if he does take a photo of us, I usually look horrible (one eye half closed, looking kinda stoned, looking down with 4 chins,... he never thinks to tell me to change something and then take another shot. He thinks they are good photos..)

Alioops, Maya never does roll-off poos. i wish she did. They are always creamy in consistence. Sometimes downright runny. And she's almost 18 months (still BFed).

    Heidi, congrats on your pregnancy!!!

Was it Ness with the lovely clean kitchen photo and the gorgeous girl sitting on the counter??? I'm jealous of the clean kitchen and your daughter is jsut sooooo adorable.

Talking about clean, on the weekend, I finally cleaned up my home office. It ahs only been about 1 1/2 years. There were things piled so high on the desk, I couldn't even see the desk anymore (and it's a big around the corner type desk). I can finally see the desk and the floor!!!! I'm so excited. DH tackled the spare bedroom which had become a dumping ground for him when I went to Germany recently for my brother's wedding (my family lives in Germany). So the place is really getting there...

I can't remember who made a comment about my mum coming to stay... But the thing is, when my mum is here, I'm not allowed to pay for ANYTHING anyway. She insists on paying for all the groceries, etc. So saying "if you wanna use disposables, then you've gotta pay for them" just wouldn't work, as she would do that anyway... I just had really hoped to get her support with the whole cloth thing and maybe even convince her that it's a great thing and very cute,... but that will be hard to do if it's so smelly. But now that it's not raining so much anymore and not so humid, it doesn't seem quite so bad. I can leave the door that goes from the laundry to the backyard open, with just the screen door closed, so it gets lots of fresh air and it's not so smelly. I have only jsut made my breastpad contraption, so will tell you how that works out.

I have another question: I think you girls were right, Maya is teething. She seems to have very nasty poos. Her bottom is so red and a little swollen. I never used to struggle with nappy rash apart from once, when it was really bad and persistent. I have a "miracle cream" my friend sent me which worked well back then. It is pretty lotiony, not a barrier cream. Can I use it sparingly with cloth nappies? Would it be safer to get flushable liners to protect my nappies?
Also, I have noticed that Maya's bum gets red if she's been in cloth over night (BBB with wool cover). Should I get microfleece liners to keep her bottom drier?

WOMB: nothing exciting, pastel green Peapod, but will need a change soon.
