Gigi - I am so happy to hear that dh has got his bum into action and is starting to relieve you of stress and crippling debt!! Now I must get my dp into the same kinda action (although he has done his returns that relate to our FTP payment years, just not the ones before ooops).

I am good btw honey, tired from Mr I-can-grow-Molars, and my family (and DP's mum) arrived today so we are inundated with a hive of activity in preparation for the first birthday on Friday (which, the way it is going, will be bigger than bloody Ben Hur ).

Sam - that is a gorgeous belly shot (both the shot and the belly). I did a kinda similar shot of my 20 week belly. I didn't get any good shots of my due/overdue belly, doh.

Hi everyone else (channelling Grover, but not as well as Gigi does).

I got moo goo today. It has been used on the boy's butt - I left him with the over enthusiastic but in hindsight obviously clueless babysitters (clueless about nappies, that is, but then, I didn't leave specific instructions ) whilst I went to pick up DP from work and when I came back he had done a very large, stinky but unnoticed poo (more ) and was working on the first signs of a nicely red bum which has now been made udderly delicious and hopefully by morning smooth and soft as a... well, a baby's bum. It smells good too. Like honey. Mmmm. But anything is an improvement on that poo. Eeeerk.

And I got a teething necklace, it looked way cute on him with his cheetah blueberry (yes, Euan is now officially the gayest baby in the village, according to his dad ), so even if it doesn't work for intended purpose it still looks really cool.

I'm going to bed now. Nighty night.

WOHB: Whizz Kidz Nightz and grandma's wool shorties, and nothing else. It's still about 29 degrees here (at 11:00pm), and even the massive lightning storm didn't put a dent in the heat.

Gigi! Yay! So happy that your dh finally got it together with the tax BS! Small sigh of relief... then pucker up for those accountant's boots! BTW, I spotted some wild zebra-print pjs in KMart the other day. Of course, when I say "spotted" I mean "purchased". Can't help myself! I really should learn some self control. But then, DS really should stop growing so fast.

hey Suse, I have DS in a pair of rainbow babylegs, a rainbow Maz cover, a purple singlet and his teething necklace. Gayest baby in this village? He doesn't fit into the jaguar berryplush anymore... I can just visualise the terribly-old-fashioned Italian nonna next door shrieking "mamma mia" at that one. She already thinks I'm a heathen. Am I traumatising my child? Maybe, but he looks fabulous!

Beatrix - congrats on selling your house! looking forward to seeing your BF top. IKWYM about the teething necklaces not exactly being able to soothe much when it's 4 teeth cutting at once... I think we're getting one after another in rapid succession. Not fun.

Maz - erk!! I sewed pockets into my ring sling, and never go out without a spare t-shirt (in a zip-lock bag) for me in one of them. I also keep one in the nappy bag with DS's spare clothes. Haven't needed it for poosplosions yet, but a few BB leakages and a VERY chucky baby.

at your MIL. Can you lock your stash away until you get home from hossy, just to know it's safe? Or is it too late now?? Hmmm...

No nappy news here. Just longing for my wildchild night nappies... but who knows when they'll be happening?

NaNa - OK, you win!! And phoey to the fuddy duddy nonna if she thinks that dressing your child in bright, colourful, fun things is traumatic. Being a boring mum would be much more traumatic me thinks...

On teething necklaces - Euan is cutting two molars right now and has been a most unhappy chappy, as you all know from my incessant whining on the subject. So, yesterday afternoon my teething necklace arrives, as do multiple doting relatives, who seem to have an eradicating effect on teething pain. Euan wore his teething necklace from 6:00pm till 10:00pm, and slept from (drum roll please...)... 11:00 till 7:30am!!!! He did stir and cry out a few times in the night but went straight back to sleep without needing resettling. So, coincidence do you think? Was it just sheer exhaustion due to hours of constant giggling? Or, heaven forbid, does the amber actually work...? Tune in next time and find out...

Suse - our necklace rocks...i even bought one for Vy that she never takes off anymore. I cant find Mateauz...its one of those magnet clasp ones so he no doubt played with it in bed.

A for my and the t-shirt pooh...no I didnt have another...thankfully we went home after it happened but I drove wearing just my bra cause I couldnt do the stentch of pooh woffling up to my nose....I must of amused alot of other drivers...oh well....gave people a good scare with out it being Hallowean

Poor little man has had a rough morning. First he belts his head on a cupboard. Then he has a sneaky poo and has a butt so red that with his zebra nappy he looks like that old joke about the newspaper (what's black and white and read all over? *groan*). Then I was shutting the door to the spare room and he stuck his fingers in the hinge side and got his little fingers jammed (he's fine, but he was pretty unhappy about it until I stuck a boob in his mouth and he fell asleep)
