A QUEstion for the girls who use flushable liners

1 - do you like them?
2 - do they make bubs bum sweaty? (hot climate)
3 -does the liquid poo seep through and still stain the nappy ( i have fleece liners and this happens)
4 - where is the best place to buy them
5 - what brand do you reccomend?

yeah, DS is a funny shaped boy... chunky thighs but skinny waist. He's only just starting to crawl, so things will change dramatically soon I'm sure (I'll lose 5kgs running after him!). Medium BP and pocket change fit still, but not for much longer. I've got mostly OSFA pockets otherwise, but they're all on the second-last snaps.

PP - I use bummis bio-soft liners, and have tried the eenees ones also. Didn't like the eenees ones tho. They're not as soft or the right size. They don't really seem to make bubs sweaty, but I found the eenees ones would stick to DS's boy-bits which can't be comfortable! Liquid poo is going to go thru all liners, and the flushable ones will work in much the same way as the fleece. They're useful for going out, so you don't have to bring home a pooey fleece liner. I got mine online with some other purchases so the postage wasn't too much of an issue, but I'm pretty sure you can get them from some IRL stores too.

that seems cheap-ish, but I personally wouldn't get them... maybe I'm just being fussy but I don't like 'em! I've got a pack here you can have!

Pip went from Med to large then started running everywhere and went back to mediums ... I think they do move around a bit.

Maz - just not good mate! Love the new ticker photo!

Anyhows, I think the boy's almost better (had tea tonight!) and looked gorgeous running around the park in his nappy, matching singlet & sandshoes And now a huggge sleep.

    WoHB - snoozywun.

Kazbah, glad to hear Pip is on the mend. Did you ever get around to posting those pics of Pip at the zoo in his animal print MCN? i'd love to see (hint hint!).

Pink - i can recommend tots bots and bummis liners as being very soft and breathable. I can see their value when baby stops doing runny poos. They do capture so much of the paste-y stage and then the formed poo stage. I dont' think ANYTHIGN will completely do the job at runny watery explosive stage. Well, just my experience.

FJ - how is the babywearing going? Does Iain like being slinged?

Maz - the pandas sound noice!
i knew you made minky topped mama pads for yourself, but in the PP, i was trying to think of retail mama pads that had minky tops, so i didn't put you, cos i didn't think you were selling them (yet!).

Kazbah - what Adelaide meetup this weekend??

    weight
    bilbs arrived at 3.798kg
    at six weeks, was 4.2kg
    at six months was 7.1kg
    at ten months was 8kg
    at one year was 8.3kg
    (started walking at 14 months)
    They're all different heh?
it works out in the end.
SHe started out as Ms Chicken Legs
from 4 - 11 months was Ms Michelin Tyres Legs (chubba wubba on those thighs)
    crawling started at 11 months
then walking kicked in at 14 months and the chubba disappeared
I actually miss her rolls! (grass is always greener isn't it??).

and to make this MCN related, here is bilbs tonight, at Carols in the Park,

Needless to say, she was the best dressed bilby in the whole place.
