Rhoda - When we were in Adelaide they dried fairly fast even in winter, coz there is only 2 layers of bamboo in each piece. I would hand them on the clothes horse and when then were getting closer to dry I would put them in the dryer once I got one, but we did survive without a dryer for a while.
I just vacuum-packed 98% of my stash and packed it into my suitcase. The last of them are on the line and DS is in sposies (nature babycare) until tomorrow morning. I'm dying for this holiday!! I wish I could take the LS, but DP thinks I'm mental... bah!
ETA: ignore the ticker, it's in some freaky time zone. I'm leaving TOMORROW!!

I think the problem with doing something different is that all us 'makers' tend to be hush hush and get rapped over the fingers when we do release our stuff. (yes maz doing a secret squirel atm ) I was applicating stones and diamontes onto my covers 2 years ago..I didnt have a fancy machine. Ive had the finger pointed at me twice now and what annoys me is that I released the same items 6 months before the other person Just cant win.
on a nioce note...im bidding on a pair of knot and knits custom shorties for the Jesse auction.....hope I win...I need some woolies for winter cause big bum boy has outgrown most of his
