    EUGENIA
If your DD wears LONGIES in winter, you won't have to worry about clothes fitting her nappy!

Have you heard of FLONGIES? they are long pants made out of polar fleece, with a hidden shorts layer made of microfleece. Like longies, they are also half clothing/half nappy waterproof cover. that is sewing on the sewing machine, not knitting. Another idea for winter, for you. There are patterns at Fairy Fabrics - or you can just fold a pair of her size 4 trackies in half, lie them on fabric adn cut around for your template.
do it a second time, but the length of shorts, for the inner layer.

what size is your DD in Happy Heiny?
i will look up 16+kg nappies for you.
    Fuzzi Bunz pockets,
    Kester Kovers AIO XL (custom)
    and Happy Heiny XXL
is all i can think of, from memory.

and XL bear bottoms for a fleece pullup cover (over fitteds)

    PINK PALACE
good on you for working out the cause - that 's half the battle isn't it?

i stood in the supermarket laundry aisle looking at wash liquids last night, trying to remember which ones you use, Green Care had very little info to go on, the other two Amolin and ?, both said "some fragrance".

are you wanting thr mandy mac for Ethan or Ashley? if it's for Ashley, i would check the RISE before buying.

MISSY MOO - glad the getting back together thing is working out for you

    MUM to Squidgee
    - itti bitti's aio are sold as a trim, day nappy with a low rise
    - we've had night time success with bulky, high rise night nappies (no leaks)
    as bob says
"you need the right tool for the job".
GL with the carpet! Please tell me it's NOT white carpet!! we have white carpet in the bedrooms, my worst nightmare is bilby pooping on it!
Tell dh a facewasher under or over a dodge mcn, can help you get them to the toilet room safely. sometimes i just grab an old cotton prefold to do this (and i'm only walking over crummy lino, i just hate clenaing up poop!).

FALGUNI - got any action shots of the mini la las? i wanna see a la la on the lu lu! i thought you would lurve their fabrics. Have you looked on twinkle lily lately?

    BRIGSY"S GIRL
    cowprint nappies?
blueberry have them in wraps, pockets and trainers
happy heiny do a polyPUL pocket and a cottonPUL pocket (buy the poly one)
i'm sure i saw some farmyard wetbags recnetly, even featuring cows! if only i could remember where!

MAZ - what PERFECT timing for your cow bling nappy to arrive!!! no time to wash it, no way.

TANSTAR - weight wise, mediums sound right. what is his rise compared to the rise for a medium itti? If you're ever unsure about what size to buy, email the site, tell them your bub's measurements adn they'll advise you which size to buy.

Thanks for the pics PP. Unfortunately, and I hate to be such a fusspot, I've found hook and loop just doesn't work for her. There is always a big gape around the tummy. In her side snap nappies we always do the tummy up at least one snap tighter than the legs. Oh well, there's no hurry at the moment. I'll have a look around and see what some of the WAHMs have to offer.

oh bugger Eug - perhaps try the other ones that Gigi suggested then?
I love my bubble bubs. lol

Gigi -Looking for ashley . Atm she gets away with a boosted BBB and some other WAHM Night nappies (which have a much higher rise on them) for nights. To technically i dont need any more lol but hey it doesnt hurt to look.

Yeah i dont use amolin, the other one was purity. And yes green care has hardly any info., For now will stick to my soapnuts i feel

Thanks It is flying along now. I'm sure he'll be here and I still wont be used to the fact that I was pregnant!
I actually bought some prefolds from the weewuns a few weeks ago. I put in the order as pick up and she called that afternoon and delivered them to my door instead! Talk about service!!

Yes, Gigi, that's one reason why I want to learn to knit better as I want to make a few longies for her to wear in winter. THere's some beautiful ones out there but I'd like to try to save some money by making my own (at least for stay-at-home-in ones) plus it will give me something to do in the evenings whilst watching TV. Flongies also sound great, I'll have to look them up.

She does have XL Happy Heinys but they aren't the best fit, good enough for wearing around the house but, again, a big gape around the tummy and the crotch is too wide so I don't put them on her until all the others are dirty or on the line.

GL whenever I change DS, because he does huge nb poos, I always lay a terry flat down first, that way when I'm done I just pick up the four corners and throw the whole lot in the bucket. No mess.

OMG I'm so sick of reading "Snow Bears", Sophia loves it but I've been doing it all morning

I made some 12 ply shorties and unfortunately i did them too big.
They are quite big and would go over a night nappy for sure.....
