Maz - there was a yellow nappy with a cow on it - went to go to the site again to have a look, but doesn't look like it's up at the moment. supposed to reopen on Monday 19th (been and gone) so don't know what happened - to be honest, i dont even know if it added to shopping cart properly cos i was having puter issues (as you do!). ahh well, i'm sure i can find another like it somewhere... we get the cow stuff pointed out to us in here lots!

on the mention of cow stuff - if anyone was looking at that little cow suit that was pointed out the other day, it's on the moo goo site for $10 cheaper.

have just sorted my stash out and packed it all up for a while - have a fair bit, but lots of it is bigger sizes (i'm a tight ass - would rather buy a L now while i'm buying a small and only pay postage once!). DH is loving it though - he agrees with me - doing the single thing most of the time, i need to be well set up so that i don't stress myself out about needing stuff washed and dried NOW - cos i'm likely to throw in the towel and ring mum to get me sposies - if i have extra, i'll be more inclined to persist with it... well, that's our thought! it's worked with everything else in my life - if i don't feel pressured, it all gets done... lol

It sounds like there's an epidemic at the moment. DD has been rotten all day and I'm terrribly exhausted. Maybe it is the heat that's affecting them all. Now I really want to go to sleep but I also need a little bit of time to relax without having one or both of my children hanging on to me for dear life.

All my nappies are still wet. That's why I like pockets. However at the moment fitteds are better for DS but I only have enough for one day, if you count the prefolds and they don't really fit terribly well anymore. Would it be too much to ask for if I want fitteds that are absorbent, quick drying and have double rows of snaps? I'll have to have a look around. Oh dear, another excuse to buy more nappies. If I can find any that suit that is.

Rhyb, you poor woman. I know exactly what you're going through (as do most others here I'm sure). Big hugs for you and don't feel bad about having to take the time to calm yourself down.

Well, aren't I a silly billy. I'm going to Pookey Pockets next week, they should have what I need.

ummm, I just gave up and handed screaming child to DP and wandered calmly into the kitchen and got the big box of triple choc cookies. Everything's wonderful now! I suddenly realised why my grandmother used to hit the cooking sherry...
Tan - fave daytime nappy, well, I like Berry Plush and Blueberries. BumGs are what I have lots of, tho, but they are getting up my nose a bit. But that's probably just a combination of other things like teething and crawling on dodgy 1950's lino making them a bit stinky and tatty. And I'm cranky.
NN - Wild Child and Sandman are ace. I got a GNST too, which is good but it's getting too small for DS already. It's only been a couple of months! He's a biggun.
Covers - maz-a-licious! and I have a couple of tots bots fleece for when the maz covers are in the wash. And longies. PUL covers I like are the Bummis SuperBrights and Thirsties gusseted ones. I couldn't afford a motherease one, tho everyone that uses them says they're great. Oh, and the Berry Plush - use them as covers too!

    rhyb - good luck hun!
Eugenia - ooh, that's a question for Gigi, for sure. I can only think of double chocolate chips for now, so it's back to my cookies...
    g'night all!

WOHB: wild child and maz pot of gold cover. It really is the cutest thing ever (when he's asleep!).

I have finally gotten the load of nappies on the clothes horse after they have been washed today (earlier) and re-rinsed...
I didn't even get to change his bum before as he fell asleep and i was too scared he would start another 2hr marathon of screaming...

Well I went to Target this arvo and spent a fair bit on some pink clothes. She has lots of pink singlets so the nice blue nappies we have don't have to be hidden away. I also bought some linen for the bassinette. Were are about 90% sure that she is our last bub so I am going to go all out and buy mostly pink stuff nappy wise, because I don't have to think about whether I have a boy in the future, coz if we do, it will be at least 3 years before I even THINK about getting UTD again.

I asked DH earlier whether we should do terry flats for tar poo or sposies, He said sposies Would a liner stop the tar from staining the nappies?

DH has gastro I am staying away from him!!! I had gastro while I was pg with Em, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The MooGoo is devine!!! Smells delicious!!! I was reading the ingredients and it says milk protein, so it might be lactose free cos the protein is different from the sugars. I dont want her to eat it anyway but YKWIM. They threw in a sample of the soap, so DH will use that for a while and we will see if that clears his excema.

    WOSB: Dorothy night nappy.

    OK, LS location question.

    Here is my house plan.

Bub will be in bedroom 2, next to laundry.
This is about equidistant from the ensuite and the kids bathroom - which one do I put it in?

Ray I would do the ensuite, Just so you are not turning heaps!

Our's is in the kids bathroom at the back of the house, right next to the laundry, and the change table is next to our bedroom, but there is a nappy bucket between the toilet and the laundry, and one next to the change table. I just deal with pooey ones after the girls have gotten changed and run off to play.

Where would the change table be Ray, providing you use one? If its in bub's room then Id put it in the kids bath, only because its right near both the laundry and the bub's bedroom.

Plus my Dh wouldnt want stink nappies anywhere near our room lol. Lucky for us the kids bath is right next to our laundry AND their rooms.

i saw much cheaper raw silk liners at "daddledoo nappies" on the wahmnaps site.

can't work out if they are cheaper cos they are single layer, maybe the dearer ones are double layer? unsure.

Eugenia - what is your babies body shape and kilos?
the quickest drying mcn have few layers and involve trifolds, so we need to find you a fitted that fits that description.

many ai2's that fit that description - how old is your bub again?

if your bub is in pockets (with successful pootainment), i assume little chicken legs is no longer an issue?

i'm so tired, i just read three pages i think, i'm unsure who said wot!

ALI - congrats on your XX - i thought you would have already been drowning in pink from already having two girls - or did you ditch all that nb pink cos you were sure you were having an XY? always fun to nest heh? woot to you!

wotbb: kester kovers aio and huggalugs to keep the mozzies at bay! warm but she's getting eaten alive by damm mozzies.

another afternoon in knickers today, she held on the whole time LOL.

i've just been chatting with a lovely person who is having a bub next Wednesday, feeling so clucky i could burst!! her mcn order (for nb stuff) went missing and she was having a meltdown, poor love.

CHristie - we miss you chicky babe!

Maz - you have been uber busy! (like that's a new thing!!! LOL).
