yep very noice looking nappies BUT not absorbant!!!!
BG - which store?
Maz - ahhh.. that definitely explains it then... stupid me for not even LOOKING at what they were made out of. that'll teach me!
missy mel- try the west side, tends to be cheaper. roughly $1k for a house per mth is prob the minimum u'll find in melb. theres pretty much local shopping centres in every suburb so very convenient. not too sure abt the schools thou...
this is what ive decided to bring overseas:
nappywise- 10GKs, 6BGs, 3Hautes, 2BPs with probably a dozen extra inserts (bamboo & MF)
wetbags- 1BBH, 1HH & 1HH laundry bag
moogoo, earths choice laundry liquid (yet to buy), totsbots liners, microfleece liners, change mat, mattress protector, think thats abt it...
do u think thats enough nappies if i wash every other day?
we leave on a midnight flight so im thinkin that the nappies i use during the day im either:
* going to laundromat to use dryer
* give them to mum to wash (shes driving us to airport)
or * chuck them into our luggage & wash on our arrival...
not too sure which way i want to do it yet, guess i'll fuss abt it after tomoro...
i think i was just in the right place at the right time - got 2 babyhosen nappies, the dragon brocade and the japaese print!!! i have been wanting the brocade one for ages woot woot!!!!!!!!
anyone tried fascination creations funky fitteds????
Anywhere within a half hour to the city will be reasonable expensive to rent, the rental market in Melbourne is crazy ATM.
For example, I live in Werribee, which is outer west at about 30 minute drive to the city. Average rent for a 3br house with a decent yard is about 230+ a week. My brother lives in Yarraville - inner west and trendy - their rent is close to double for a 2br 'half a house'.
As said earlier, most suburbs will have their own supermarkets etc, and reasonable reliebale bus routes to get you there if you dont drive.
Govt schools tend to be better in the more inner areas, though thats not to say the ones in outer areas are all bad.
I didn't know you lived in Werribee Ray - not that its of any importance - but I used to live in Melton
Missymoo, we've not long moved from Blackburn which is in the East, the house was crapola & was still $280pw, it's nice a bit further out that way too though, and probably cheaper to rent. AJP or Janie may be able to advise as to what's out that way... (or Nelle??)
Nappy news... erm, uh... I need to wash some?!![]()
I just returned home from lunch with the charming Lea. I am now the proud owner of a little squirt!
