oooh, careful Christy - you'll have wolf whistles galore if you keep waggling like that!!

i washed my first load of nappies earlier - just in water - washed the BB and sherpas and they're all hanging on the airer in my dining room. would have done more but i ran out of pegs and didn't want to have the nappy part folded over the rails double cos i reckon they'll take too long to dry. looks like i has to go shopping tomorrow - pegs, washing powder for bubba clothes.... might even contemplate stuff for us after i spend more dollars on the Gremlin!

is anyone else stuck with drying things inside? is there any reason not to dry BBH/BBB/sherpa fitteds in the dryer for convenience (AND defluffing!)

    meanies. spill!

BG - I dry mine mostly in the dryer. PUL is a little iffy in the dryer. I put mine on low heat overnight and my nappies are still in good nick.

BG - All of my nappies go in the dryer on low for a few hours when they get washed in wet season.

BG honey - i put mine through the dryer when i have to many and they are fine....while your out shopping, get one of those round peg hanger things that have like 25 pegs on it....they are excellent for just hanging wipes and small boosters on without taking up to much needed space and they hang of the side of the clothes horse.

Christy....i could cry...its made me so clucky....and that was just you waggling your bum in here

What was I gonna say? totally gone out of my head

BG - I dry mine on the clothes horse for two days and then if any are still a bit damp (which most are cos of the humidity) then they get chucked in the dryer for a bit.

OH - thats what I was going to say.

Does anyone know ANYONE who makes "holden" and "ford" nappies? DH has an idea and he wants "blokey" nappies

Hello wonderful clothie ladies, have so much to catch up on. Have been desperately trying to reclaim my house from the encrouching flith and made a deal that I would bellybelly until I had been good :-) Add to that after all our rain we have been in and out of disposables as I was soooooo over the RAIN!!! OMGoodness.

Have a "worst nappy bucket of the year" story for you. Got home from Brissie recently and have been wondering where all my nappies had gone. Anyway today found a forgotten bucket on the floor burried under miscellaneous objects we brought in when cyclone was approaching and OMGoodness it was full of nappies. If you can imagine the smell of rotten eggs and times it by ten you would get what my entire house smelt like for the three washes it took to get rid of the smell.

Anyway we are back in cloth pretty much when Ari is not running around nude taking herself to the toilet (it seems if she is wearing any type of nappy/trainer/pants she will wet but if she is nude she takes her self off to the big toilet - whatever works right - makes going out a little hard but we are working SLOWLY on it.

Off to catch up on the massive thread, hope all are well

    Sarah I can imagine
My Sarah runs around nude all day at home, so dont worry, Ari being nude means less mess and it is normal for 2 year olds to run around nude.

    Okies

shopping today (when i get organised) will include one of them round hanger thingies with all the pegs, soem more normal pegs, a new clothes airer (cos the one we have has lost a wheel and is very lop sided - no way i'm permanently using books to balance it!), washing powder or liquid for sensitive bots... might have to do some shopping for us while i'm out too....

i need to find a girlie colored nappy or cover with a Mack on it (just hte mention of the Holden/Ford thing got me thinking) - if anyone sees one, let me know!
