I thought I would HATE fitteds and covers, but prefer them with Miss M. Pockets are a little big for her as yet. But AIO's like ittis (well technically its an AI2 as well) and widdlewuns are great fits..

*sigh* Em is still in a sposie with NR cream :( But it is improving!!
Anna - Every daycare *should* allow MCN. I thought legally they had to be equipped to deal with cloth. We havent had any major issues, just that sometimes I forget the wetbag, and they continue to put the wipes in as liners, but they havent said that they want me to supply sposies. If they did I would say well you can pay for them because I dont buy them unless I am expecting something like a challenge.
Well I am so sore so hosework can bite me today. I can't move fast enough and it hurts so it can wait. I need to rest.
Mel - I like Ittis, the small fits Elise perfectly atm, I only have one though the other two are medium and too big on her, I do use them but only at home cause sometimes we get leg gape which is not good at poo time.
The small is fab though, no leaks with that one and she has done some nice poos in it.
I just can't be bothered with pockets too much faffing about and worrying about if I have put enough in it.
Maz I've had my eye on those Auriels and Honeyboys but I think I might have more luck winning the lotto than getting my hands on one of those babies LOL will keep my eyes peeled though.
I must say I am liking side snapping things on Elise, the couple that I have fit her excellently.
Kitten - daddledoos huh, I'll add it to the list lol
Kitt3n - what dont you like about the side snapping s'bees?
ray ray - no i think i worded that last post incorrectly - i havent tried them is what i meant.... well, not the pocket ones. I have the side snapping fitteds and they rock.
sorry, i just re-read that, best go fix....
eta fluffy mail! ecobubs from a really great new store, Arimeh's Clothie Bumz, anyone heard of this place? such lovely service ;)
wohb - periwinkle swaddlebees eco
im still yet to find a love for fitted, ive tried it ever once & it was a bad experience :( i like my pockets but it can be prtty annoying stuffing them at times...
ecobub- ive got suspicion that dragon is allergic to wool as he got red marks on his thighs last time i put the ecobub on him. if thats the case, i have a close to brand new L ecobub to swap...
I'm registered for the hunt!:hooray: OK, I know there's plenty of time but patience is not one of my (many) virtues.
:o I just realized I'm going to spend so much money next month! :doh: DH called buying nappies my hobby the other day so maybe he won't disaprove.
I've been looking for bicycles to put on DS's butt for ages and he's now finally getting a bike cover. Considering how much his dad is into them it's almost criminal that he doesn't have any yet, but they're surprisingly hard to find.
WOSB red peapod
WONB blue HH OSFM pocket
Hee, hee, Maz. It's no big secret, really, but if you're after inspiration just take a look at that extremely handsome young man in the photo in my signature.
ETA: I just changed the photo to feature only him. Poor baby has to share everything with his sister, it's about time he enjoyed the limelight.
Fluffy mail!! My wins from B4B - 14 terry flats and 1 Newborn BBH Magicall
Oooh, I just registered too!! Exciting! There were so many cool things I discovered last time...
WOPB: Cow print Happy Heiny.
What's on Punky's face; a sick expression & a runny nose... :(
Um whats this Nappy Hunt?
I was going to get involved in the nappy hunt - missed registration - :doh:
Next time

motorbike pandababy...i like the look..just gotta check out the fit of barge bum jacko....
WOJB ~ IB of some colour...
Pandababy Kat? All these new MCN brands I dont know about, you guys are very bad for my wallet you know that :lol:
Who was after honeyboys.......just grabbed a quick dry nights from the gossamer dreams stocking.....yay for me..it had been sitting there since yesterday and was looking very lonely and seeing as I was paying for my custom auction of outrageous cloth pads that I won it kinda slipped in...oops!
Why do you find they arent absorbent enough? Cause my boys are big pee-ers too so might not be suitable for them either.
Guess I should go google them (I should be cooking dinner, hopefully it aint burning lol)
tra la laaaaaaaa
Somehow the CC put Pip's nappy on his this afternoon and put the soaker on top of the liner pad ... Poor little man was "wearing to the left" ;)
Yesterday I got a call from one of the mums in our MG, she's doing a B.Ed and is up to the environmental studies part - she's got a pile of MCN from me to trial for a week or so!
I gave her:
* 5 x BBB
* 2 x BB PUL covers
* 1xBBH
* 2xGK (one with microfibre insert, one with hemp insert)
* 1xGK minkytimes with bamboo insert (giraffe!)
* Fleece cover (maz!)
* Dalmation BP as a cover only
* 4xfleece liners
* 7xflushable liners with instructions to cut in half lengthways
* 1xwetbag.
All those christmas nappies are coming in handy!
Also, was emailing christy @ widdlewuns last night and her little one is now 7 weeks old and she's redesigning her site with a new cart and stuff.
WoHB - GK funtimes (turtle!)
[quote=Arimeh;1662676]umm not yet.. but they are coming very soon to another store ;) And the mediums should fit, they still fit DS at 13kg.
Doh, I think I read that somewhere Mel! :) Please remind me when they're up and running! :D
Kitt3n - Thanks for your suggestions. I'd love to buy her Bling but they aren't easy to come by and I've only got until next Saturday. Any suggestions how to fast track one? :)
Ty's slowly getting better. Hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day - but it's going to be busy.
WOTB: BBB with BBH wool cover
Hi All!
Just popping in to say I'm still alive! I won't write much as it is late and I need to have my snack and get to bed but it has been AGES since I logged on! I couldn't read 13 pages of this thread to try to catch up even a little bit - so I'll just dive in here! I hope everyone is well.
WOHB: BBH bamboo and ME Airflow cover
OK - Maz, you are officially EVIL i tells ya! EvIL! The cFA auctions are EVIL!
OK, so serious question here. Would having Pip in a CFA mini-uniform or fireman's uniform be in bad taste when we go into the firezone to help move some animals? Or would it be seen as a compliment?
Pandababy? Haven't heard that one b4, please explain? (with full Ipswich twang)
WoHB - KK nights
Rach Michelle has left for a week long holiday so unless someone has one they are willing to sell to you, getting one on short notice will be impossible :(
Personally I'd take that as a compliment.
BUT I want that outfit! It is just so adorable.
ETA Panda Baby are very cute nappies but I found they just didn't suit my DD. Plus I found the quilters cotton outers got a lot of wicking so the outside felt damp very quickly.
cfashop dot com dot au has (i've just discovered, as I was looking for a scanner) mini CFA and CFB outfits in sizes 2 - 12. And very cheap, in case I get outbid!
Did you see the m/l nappy with the wings? How cute!!!!! I think I've just spent waaaay too much on nappies.
who here has had issues with ishfly ? Not the nappy itself but the service?
Anyone in Melbourne want to tell me a good cheapish area to rent that is close to town (like no more than a half hour bus ride?)
Missy Mel - are you moving honey?
And I've heard lots of stories about iish fly service - did you know they are going wholesale soon... hmmmm... interesting.. ;)
noice score melbel:dance:
the nappy hunt is a treasure hunt, you search thru all the nappy websites for clues, when you find the clue, you get points. There are prizes, depending on which level of points you get to. the hunt is held once or twice a year.
modern cloth nappies website organises it, ozclothnappies, nappycino etc are all involved too. many websites involved as sponsors, will advertise it on their home page. Once it's on, it's hard to escape it! you soon get addicted to finding those pesky icons!
it's a good way to find out websites, see what they go and have fun/exasperation solving the clues - some easy - some cryptic.
wotbb; lotus night nappy and PP soaker
bilby did a wee on her new potty tonight. i need to get her to wee at other times of day, not JUST before bath, when daddy is there. She sure likes the prize (icecream) but it doesn't encourage her to wee any other time of day!
how many wet nappies per day, would you expect a two year old to be having? i'm getting a bit worried (she comes home from 7 hours of childcare with 2 x dry nappies + one dry pr knickers - after 7 hours!!).
missy mel- depends wt u r after, any other criterias besides close to city ie schools, shops...
hmm well its ok. I was living in my own world thinking Melbourne was as small as Hobart but I have been informed that it isn't haha So no need to be close to the city. I just need it to be somewhere with a supermarket complex like coles/kmart/pharmacy etc. And a good public school would help lol
I had to get up and change Ash at 5am! He had wet through his nappy that he is usually fine in over night... hope this doesn't mean he can't use his BBB at night now :(
Hehe @ Missy Mel - Noooooooooooooooo hobart is ever so much smaller - Melbourne is huge!!!!!!
What about the sunny coast? ;)
Gigi - hmm my boys are big wetters so we change them pretty frequently. It is very very hot up here all the time so we make sure they drink lots of water which could be why they wet so much. Jett usually goes through 3 changes in about 5-6hrs of jnr kindy - could it be she isnt wetting because she's busy/having fun?
Nah bugga you Mel - she's coming to Shepparton :ROFL:
depends what you like MIssM....Vic is HUGE!!!!!!! I use to live in George Town and was blown away when we moved her to VIc.
um um nappy front..........
OH Mateauz finally fits into the parrot pants that I got him last year :dance: but that means I have to sell of his longies from last year. I won an auction on WAHMnaps for a pair of custom longies and im getting pair made through the Jessie auction that was up a few months ago (which reminds me...I must look into that again)
have my boys home...tummy aches and I have gotten it :(...feel cruddy
WOMB - sandman nite nappy still - fully loads PHEW!

hope my new fluff from BBH comes soon , i got all the new organic clothing , and a few minkys !!
i must say out of all the nappies i have tried , i cant go past the fitteds and a cover !!
Lea - I believe its the Ipswich where red haird feaml politicians ask 'please explain' a lot lol. :p
well I have had to venture out and get some night nappies - was going to delay a la a special new night nappy i hear is in the works, but last night matisse soaked through her noght time combo ( jamtots hemp fitted with trifold stuffed into it)........
so we have ordered a sandman and a purple nights..... what do you all think of these????
