BBH are made in china too
if BBH werent made in china , i think poor davina would have had to sell up !! she has 3 lovely kids and a hubby they both work full time can you imagine making the best selling fitted here in oz and keeping up with demand ! so if she had to sell up , can you imagine life with out BBH .. i couldnt

they are made Ethically in china .. and even though they are made in china , has anyone seen seconds or poor quality come from BBH ... not in a sweat shop , but BBH is helping poorer chinese familes create an income ... so going over to china to flog a bunch of ppl to make cheap nappies is totally not BBH's style !

argh ok off my snobby horse now ... i just feel bad for all the people whos business goes huge then get dissed for being made in china ... the nappies would cost a fortune if made in OZ

sorry now i feel bad ,Cheeky Monkey .. im a bit sensitve today

I need some advice please ladies - last night I had to give little laa some panadol, I am sure she is teething, dribbling, biting her little fist etc, and she was crying, in pain. Now how is that going to affect my MCN? Nurofen is only from 6 months isnt it? And liners dont really help do they, cos its the wee that stains? please help????

also some night nappy reccomendations if you could please. I LOVE the sandman, its a medium size and it fits just wonderfully. But they are lined with fleece, and i really want to avoid synthetic fibres for overnight - cna you please hit me with some recommendations that are all natural?

wohb - still the sandman, off to change it now.....
you can also email the seller , like SHP if you want a sandman with out fleece .. they can make it just bamboo then you can add a silk liner ? there arent many NN out there with out fleece , but all you have to do is ask , im sure alot of WHAMS would only be too happy to do a custom for you ... Esp SHP , she is sooo lovely and makes great soaker/longies !!!

Davina is wonderful and her nappies are made ethically She doesn't believe in kiddy labour.

Kitten don't stress it. Yup that's me but you were bidding first and shhh ill tell you a secret... another Munch Crunch Auriel owner has privately messaged me about one that she has that is blue and had matching clothes and she will SELL TO MEEEEEEE... so guess what i'll be buying

To be honest, I never even think about where things are made I just go for good quality and reasonably affordable prices, whatever makes my life easier, because with THREE kids under 2.5 I need easy. One day I wont be so selfish

Maz, hope Mat feels better soon!

We actually have sunshine here today WOOPEEEEEEE so I might drag out and wash a few loads of my Baby River fitteds while they can sun dry.........

Ahhhh see I have something to get back at DH cos a parcel just arrived

I believe it when Davina and Sue say their nappies are ethically made. Reputation is everything and if some got wind that they were made in a sweatshop it would be detrimental to them.

Wow, sorry ladies I didn't mean to cause such a stir.

I don't have anything against things being made in china, it's just my preference when it comes to MCN.

If I didn't buy anything made in china I think my house, and many others, would be quite bare.

I just want my MCN's to be made here, so nothing against those that outsource to china - it's just not for me in this case.

There looks to be so many good WAHM's which I would prefer to buy from, especially since I am a SAHM and know how much the MCN money would help with their income.

And I didn't say that any of the nappies made in china (or anywhere except australia) were of any less quality, so please do not assume I mean that either. I'm sure the owners of these companies set standards, I don't doubt that.

My comment was made as I got excited about another brand to look up, then realised they were made in china. It wasn't dissing them at all.

My criteria of being australian made is like you wanting bamboo over hemp or natural over synthetic. Simply that.

right - kat you and i are blame buddies always sending each other things to try

how would one get in contact with a sandman maker? i have only seen them at babyblossom.... but i think i might have found a better solution anyway

raven, thanks for the panadol stain info. I think we ill stick to the panadol, hopefully the stains will fade......

bags... i DID like my BBH one, but not so much anymore, i dont like that the zip is on the side, the bag tends to flop and let things out instead of being able to fill it to its full capacity. I love my leslies boutique ones - you can really stuff em

mm phew - now its MINE AH HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

maz - poor lil man, give him a cuddle from me

lol - only one parcel showed up today, as DH was coming back from dropping off DD at school, so YAY! but nay - i want my other stuff!!!

    WOHB - TW gilded floral

Cat - sustainable hemp products (i think thats the site) - contact them babe.

CM - I get where you are coming from and don't apologise for wanting what you do. I think tis great that you are specifically wanting to support aussie mums!! The little less-known brands are probably for you then - ones that are work from home mums, like spunky butts, genesa forge, dragonfly Magik, Widdlewuns, green kids (I think!?) just to name a few.
