    Hello

I just wanted to share that I'm getting into the cloth nappy thing too..

My DD is 5 weeks and I have now worked out how to get the nappies on her and using covers and boosting and it all seems to be going swimingly. I need to build up me stash though as I only have enough at the moment for part time, but thats better than nothing, huh?

Arimeh, you sent me instructions for the MotherEase nappies and I have to tell you, I was still dubious, but I have found them to be excellent nappies. I boost them with the bamboo squares from Baby Beehind and they are fantastic. I put 2 squares in last night and DD slept for 6 hours!! AND her bum still felt dry when I changed her nappy, even though the nappy was pretty heavy with the moisture.

So this is my stash so far...

    4 x BBH bamboo
    4 x MotherEase bamboo
    5 x Cushie Tushie Couture
    12 x BBH bamboo squares

My faves are the BBH & the MotherEase...What should I try next?

    TIA

A lot has been happening here. More dramas with Dave so I have cut contact Just can't deal with it all. Sometimes I wonder what the hell is going through his head. Ashton is good though...

    Nappy news...

Well I started washing in cold with powder and surprise surprise they not only started to rash on Ashton but they started smelling ... YUCK! So I had to rewash them in hot with nothing again and they smell heaps better...

I'll tell you what though, once they start eating food... PUKE!

    Hi Winter

What recommendations are you after? More fitteds, or something like a cute AI2 or some pockets.... or some AIO's?

There are sooooo many good brands out there that I'm sure everyone will say you just HAVE to try

    Hey all,
Have been lurking, but not much to say. Bubbys bum is a cloth one I am happy to say. However it is getting bigger.....
Quick Q, was there some chat about a member here setting up a B4B type thingy? Otherwise is B4B the best place to offload some outgrowns?
Waiting on my first batch of post birth fluff. Yay.
    Also, pls help me.
I am lazy, I have decided my fave nappies are aio's, in particular pockets with aplix. (these also best suit DP, MIL and anyone else who changes him)
I have a bunch of BBB and BBH but by the time i put them on plus a cover, lil mans butt is mega, and when I lay him down, his bottom half is higher than his top half and he seems to spew more in bed.
The only thing that gets me using them is my lovely maz covers
So do I keep em? will this problem get better as he grows? (am thinking it will) or do I just accept the fact I am a lazy bugger and flog em and get "easy" nappies. Dont want to regret getting rid of them but dont want to keep 12 odd nappies I dont use.

I'd keep them Shell (and welcome back !!)

You might need them when he's older, not puking as much and they don't make his bum as big! Plus they would be more absorbent than AIO's - so might be good for night time use.

I use our BBB's during the day here for both kids - I love them!!

Will put em in the drawer for later. Would kill me to sell them for 1/2 price when lots of em never even been used.

    i would suggest

    • a MandyMac (OSFM fitted pocket that does up with a snappi),
    • a Cute Tooshies bamboo delight (fitted OSFM) and
    • a bear bottoms fleece cover in small (nightweight).

Working out how to use MCN is a learning curve, so good on you for getting the hang of it. Part time IS a great start.

Do you have a LIttle Squirt (to get the poo off), wetbags for going out, a mattress protector mat (for giving nappy free time each day, on the floor)?

    Welcome Winter

looks like I might need to re-assess my stash...woke up to a Monsta half-way down our bed (he crawls all over us when we're sleeping) in a pooey BG HALF DONE UP! not sure whether he worked out how to undo the velcro or it was just coincidence as he was only wearing a singlet. Lucky no poo on our bed thou.

Just when I thought I could get away without getting any nappies for awhile, he decided to b a Monsta. If only he showed himself before adelaide *sigh*
