OK, so I've got the opportunity to help out at the NN stand at the expo for free nappies - only prob is they're BumG's and I don't really want anymore......did it last year and had a great day, Jayne is so lovely but I dunno if I've got 4 hours of standing and talking to strangers about MCN in me at 30+ weeks prg ( umm, when did that happen by the way?!)....

Need to make a decision today....

Maz - you're gonna give us heaps of notice as to when the next stocking is right?? Need to get my trigger finger ready!

Ok, just gunna throw this out there.

Either I have officially become a mother OR a complete degenerate.....

Is it really wrong when you get a tricke of bub chuck on your sheets, to just pull back the covers and let it dry then remake the bed?

I am talking about a golf ball sized patch on sheets that were new yesterday, on a matress with a protector, on HIS side of the bed.

    WDYT, Mummy or bush pig?

PS, still havent made the bed, waiting on your opinions

    It had better be "mummy"!!!!

Harmony dribbles in my bed every night, and I AM NOT changing my sheets daily!!!

Shell - I agree 'mummy'...or maybe we're all bush pigs?!

Mel - thought about that but feel a bit rude asking! Pretty generous of her to give nappies away for nothing. Could use them for the new bub but after them being a fav for a long time here, I'm not happy with their life span - leg elastic has gone in a lot of my older ones.

Definately bush pig Shell JOKING! Nah its a mummy thing and I do exactly the same lol Except I lay Riv on a blanket on our bed and just drag the blanket to whichever side Im feeding from in the middle of the night. If he spews it gets the blanket mostly so I can get away with not changing the sheets everyday.

I don't have the time to b constantly changing our sheets n washing them, its such a big effort esp when we have limited hanging space! at least u r 1 up on me having a mattress protector, ours has multiple milk patches now...

willow - it wouldn't hurt to ask considering BGs r more pricey than other brands

Sweet, thanks ladies, I'm piggin it up

Now my bed matches my couch.

I do use towels but he always gets me just as I am picking him up or am in the middle of changing positions. It's like he finds it a personal challenge to mark everything he can!!

I am slowly surrendering to it.

Thanks for all your opinions on Hautes - its easier sometimes to take the shortcuts and just ask even after doing heaps of reading as first hand experience is often the best to make a call on

I received my IB's today - ooooh lala they do feel sooo noice hey. Also a Wildchild and Magicall BBH .... So, now all 7 of my nappies are on the line

I'm getting there girls, getting there - can probably do all of tomorrow in cloth wooohoooo

Its amazing how what is "acceptable" before being a mum changes with the after becoming a mum I will go to the shops now with a little bit of spit on my jeans :0 - ... who's got time to change hey!

Hi all, I'm another noobie .

I've got a quick question, with the boosters for the GK's, do you put them in the pocket as well? Told you it was stupid, lol.

Just thought of some more questions, sorry to be a bother.

Can you prewash nappies with a dirty load of nappies or do you need to separate them?
And what does the WO__ at the end of all the posts mean?

Sami I also got my IB's today but wasn't home so have to go to the post office after 4pm to get them .

I started a post then accidentally closed the window so here we go again.

    FLUFFY MAIL!!!

2nd hand M IB LE. How much boosting should be in it?

My snap press and fabrics!!! They only took a week for international too!!! I am stoked!!

Maz or any other nappy making experts - Prewashing the bamboo on hot caouple of times, how hot can I have the dryer? does it need to be low or can I have it on high so that there is maximum shrinkage before sewing so they dont curl?

I used a towel with the older 2 for spits, but I think I might use some flannelette or maybe buy some more bamboo and make a mat that sits nicely on the bed  will have to see what I can afford at tax time and how much she spills.

I practiced with the press on an old dead BumG, and I can do it when the press is on the floor and I am on the couch with no hassles!! and the prong seems to get flatter than some of the manufacturer snaps, so I think I will end up doing a few repairs on some of my nappies.

We have complete silence atm!! The girls are both sleeping after a horror few nights. I think we might get a decent few hours out of Em today and maybe manage to get a full night too. She got another tooth last night so has been a horror with screaming.
