Gigi - Yep they are 1 row of snaps, but the wings have 2 snaps each. The snaps on the ends of the wings are for the waist measuement and the snaps closer to the middle of the wings are the thigh measurement. So putting it on you have the thigh ones looser than the waist ones by skipping a snap on the front and doing up the next one. I can take a pic if it helps. It just puts a little fold in the waist bit for chunky thighs and skinny waists, and stops wing droop.
