Geez we go through these threads huh..

Marlene - of course you were missed - everyone misses everyone

Hey - talking of a missing person - has anyone heard from Mel lately (no not ME of course, the other Mel who used to be in here AGES ago from Brisbane??) Can't remember her username for the life of me

I'm like, so proud of myself, cooked dinner!! Sounds so normal doesn't it? Usually its hard to cook with either baby strapped to my hip in the arvo's but he was sleeping and she was happy spitting out grapes onto the carpet and playing with pegs! (really, pegs are the BEST invention!!)

WOTB's - soggy nappies that I so desperately need to change!

No but I have noticed Missy Moo Mel hasn't been in here lately. I assume she is just really busy househunting.

my midnight post from last night

HGL/Jess - i got purple baby legwarmers, Huggalugs make one called HYANCITH (prolly spelt that word wrong but). it is a different purple to how it looks to me online, but still lovely purple. i like having some plain baby legwarmers to go with patterned things (used to be mcn - now it's jeans/trousers etc.

hot water up to 60 degrees is fine to wash the nappies in.

if your baby has gastro, the advice is to wash at 90 degrees, (incl two weeks AFTER baby is well again), but this is only to be done with NON ELASTIC mcn, e.g prefolds, trifolds, flats, contours etc.

Many of the posts i read, from people saying they have a problem with smelly mcn, they turn out to be washing in cold water only. So if you wash in cold, i would suggest you do a hotwash, at least once a week (IF you have the nappies go smelly).

i washed bilby's mcn in 60 degrees for two plus years - the nappies were fine. i only had to do a de-smell wash once. (really bad teething wees).

EEJ = how many times did you pre-wash the mini la la? i would imagine it is chokka blok full of bamboo, which needs three washes to work up the absorbency level. if you don't want to do the pre-washes, just make sure the first three wears are AT HOME, so it doens't matter when it leaks.

i love the moogoo anti ageing cream on the backs of my hands - that's where my skin is getting wrecked from constant handwashing. i love that stuff, gives my poor hands some pain relief.

CHARMLEA - thanks for the magicalls experience on your little one. good luck for sleep school, that didn't work out so well for us. don't let them bully you.

You could take MCN camping with a squishy big wet bag too, not just a bucket (which has a rigid shape). camping in a sports car - interesting LOL. never dull where you live ha ha.

MARLENE - petal, love, pet, we knew you were busy with Jack's turning one, you WERE missed sweetie!

    wotbb: blueberry trainers

it finally happened - the tt-ing regression - on the 3rd day of her being ill with a cold, three accidents - just when i was thinking of retiring the little squirt! lucky i hadn't done that yet.

Well its time for night nappies for Harmony..... She has finally wet through her normal nappies that I was using for night, like pop ins, bizy bee's, cute tooshies and covers...

She's almost 4 months,( )so she's done well.... and I can get mediums instead of smalls too, so get lots of use... *sly look in Maz's direction, awaiting a stocking*

Kane is getting absolutely pedantic about his baby legs, even insisting to wear them under everything, like jeans and sleep suits!! What have I created??!!

Well Ad and I have almost decided to send out e mails and see if I can get this mcn idea off the ground... I cant do well if I dont try!!

I re-arreanged and re-labled the change table drawers, now it is neat enough for FIL to easily be able to find things, and they are labled correctly. I think I might do up some 'Using MCN' instructions to put on the side of the change table in the hopes that we dont have any more rather 'interesting' combinations.

DH did a nappy load last night, not sure if FIL has hung it out yet but the back door looks like it has been used (solid door is open) so I think it might be out on the line, which means I should have some nappies to fold tonight and they are all finally being done in one hit so I can get them sorted before they run out.

Jess...just google Moogoo and it will come up. Go to their stockists link and you can check if anyone stocks it locally. (scroll down the page for NSW syockists) My local Amcal chemist stocks it, but not many do. My Amcal had run out of the Soothing cream so I ordered it online and got it in 3 days.

Jess - Google 'Moogoo MSM' and it should come up quicker, otherwise there will be a heap of chinese food in your list too.

Sorry to be so slack in here lately. I've been reading, just haven't got the energy or enthusiasm needed to post most days.

Ali sounds like you have control of the household even from your walking frame. I sometimes wish that I could be put on complete bed rest for a week or so...so I could show DF just how much I do around the house that he doesn't notice or appreciate. Any ideas how I could do that? lol

I'm feeling really good today, after a 5-6 month absence AF has decided to return again so we can get in and do some baby making soon. Hope my body is back in a good rhythm again now

Been dyeing some singlets and shirts today. Was supposed to do them weeks ago but I've just not had the energy. See a pattern here? No energy Been so tired and lethargic for the past few weeks, it's getting old now.

Nappy News? Threatening rain all day today so they're hanging on the clothes horse inside. DS has been nappy free almost every day for most of the day so not many nappies to wash.
