    Hello ladies!!!!!!

Well I have to say as much as I love my pop in it has to be one of the hardest to get Em's pasty poo out of with the LS. It was a nasty poo that dh handled badly tho! he managed to get it everwhere!

And the poor little thing is in sposies cause she has a bad rash on her 'china' its red raw almost like its burnt i'm not sure how it got so bad so fast! I have had suedocream on it today but its not helping... any advice on a cream for this type of "burn" rash?

Eej - I've only had blistering like that once on DS when he was teething (obviously not on his china - he don't have one hehehe) but I swear curash powder was the best. It dried it out within a few hours. I just every nap change wiped off the caked up powder and applied more fresh stuff.

Hope it clears up soon for you.

One of my girlfriends gave me her trial nappies as is only having one bub and decided not to use cloth (yay for me). I got given 4!! Small -8kg Imse Vimse White Covers with couple of nappies. They are brand new with tags but don't know where she got from. Would really like to swap for different sizes as would like to keep maybe 1, but I already have 3 small covers and I use a combo of AIO's and fitteds so don't need heaps of covers. Anyone know who supplies them and if they might send me 'replacement' sizes if sent 3 back??
i think nurture nappies stock them. i got one of them covers and still got room to grow when using with our fitteds email jayne and ask whether its possible to change size.
otherwise New Age Nappies also stock them

thx for all the replies re childcare nappies. guess the BGs i have should be sufficient for now.

i'll be swamped with woolies in no time the footy soaker i ordered from SHP is done, and today i got email from the knitter for PP that she can start on longies for me by end of the week! not to mention theres a pair being knitted already & i want one frm canada...can one own too much woolies??

i really ought to solve the sewing machine mystery so i can make more wipes

eej- have u tried bepanthen? i find it usu treats the rash pretty good between changes.

sooo over waiting for my longies to dry lanolised them yesterday and they have been on top of the airer , even had 2 fans on full ball when i was out and they are still damp .. how can i dry them quicker ???
when you take your longies out of your sink/bucket of water/woolwash and dissolved lanolin, lay a bath towel DOUBLED OVER nearby. Lay the wet longies on that. Roll up the doubled towel, as you roll, water is squeezed OUT of the longies, INTO the towel.

then lie the longies on ANOTHER doubled over towel, to dry.

this DRAMATICALLY shortens the drying time.

wringing them out by hand can make the longies go out of shape too. so the towel method is good on a few levels.

hope that helps you Charmlea, i think Raven told me that trick, it's worked really well for us.

i think the IV smalls are 5-9kg.

places like Nurture nappies, newage nappies, little koala, they stock them.
Can you ask your girlfriend where she bought them from?
that was a very generous gift from her!

I'm having another one of those nights.

Last night I went to bed tired as tired could be. Couldn't sleep. Kept thinking "I really should have put those nappies in the machine". After lying there for an hour, maybe two, I got out of bed... I snuck into DS's bedroom and took his nappy bucket outside, down the outside stairs and into the laundry. Popped them in the machine and went to bed. Out like a light.

Tonight I went to bed, can't sleep... Kept thinking about the pre-loved nappies that arrived today and need strip washing. So I got out of bed, trapsed all the way downstairs nappy bucket in hand and popped them in the machine. Now I'm going back to bed, and hopefully to sleep.

Nappies causing insomnia - who would have thought.

xx night girls (that are ALREADY in bed )
