    KATIE RABBIT
to answer your question form previous thread

i used baby beehinds bamboo foldups, padfolded, as my pretend bamboo prefold, on my newborn, laid inside a nb sized cover with leg gussets, they worked beautifully on my 3.79kg newie.

up to just a few months ago, when bilby tt-d, we used them constantly all the way through. at nb stage as pretend prefolds, then in the other stages as pocket stuffers, (by themselves at first, later, in combination with other boosters), as boosting for night nappies and fitted day nappies.

    they were so useful.

NANA - how wonderful to hear from you, all the way from Beirut! I bet your rellies are having fun making a fuss over Aadi! and why not? he's gorgeous.

ALIOOPS - good to hear from you, any word on WHEN your c-section will be? i know you're anxious to have as much time as you can, with Leah and your dh before he goes away.

My friend who has just started her bub in MCN, is enjoying the first week. Her lovely bub is on solids, so straight to flushable liners. But typical, the ones that fit her bub the best, are the "hyena" type nappies! oi! my Dh put extra snaps on the cushie tushies yesterday, hoping that will make them fit her bub better.

her dh installed the little squirt, they are both using it fine. loving the night nappies, have gone 100% overnight really. not sure if they are using it "out of home" yet or not. but she does have a wetbag. i'm so pleased for her, that it's all going to plan and working so well. SHe's such a lovely person.

i was all set to be "pro front closures" and "pro wide crotch styles" with my friend, you know, have an open mind, in spite of all my experience with bilby, being about sidesnappers and narrow crotch mcn. so it's pretty ironic, that this bub, after having lots of styles put on her, actually DOES fit SS and the narrow crotch styles the best. i swear i had NOTHING to do with this! (it just kills me that i sold ours, the week BEFORE she told me, she wanted to do mcn).

wotbb: blueberry trainer and woollen longies (great combo for dry everything).

hi NaNa all the way over the other side of the world !! too bad about not mcn full time . but sometimes theres nothing else we can do ... hope you having a great time ...

Gigi - i think i posted but can remember , i was at greenfest the otherday and saw a real live bilby ... sooo soft and prudy with its big eyes ... awww

I have gabs in a NN atm , (well shes still in bed) i dont often put her in a NN as all mine are size Med Long or Large ... and Med Long is just way to big on her . and usuing a BBH fitted with loniges is hard as you can only boost the inner and then her crotch becomes big ... so she is in a KK med long with the hugest bum in the world , i think i might have to looking into a sandman in Med ... as my sand man is a Large and wayyyy to big on my shorty ...

I am getting 2 nappies for gabs's birthday ( i got 2 for nixon , so its only fair ) one is from GF (ss with her name and a caterpiller on it) and the other is a Bundle of buns (her name with a butterfly on it !) the prices of nappies have gone up so much since i got customs for Nixon ... instead off $60 for 2 customs its now $80 something ... so now i have to save up ... i thought mcn was cheaper ... lol

Morning all - just a quick pop in. I'm at work this week, filling in for the bosses secretary - she wanted the week off, so here I am!! Dutifully working away.

EEJ - you can NEVER have too many baby legs. Although, I only have about.. umm.... 4 or 5 in my stash so I am wayyyyyyyyyyy behind you.. LOL

Maz does the middle east.. is that like Debbie does Dallas?

Lea - yeah they are expensive huh. I think it cos me $80 to get my two custom ones from GF too - then they didn't fit her properly so had to send them back again ($5 postage) and include another prepaid bag ($6 postage) so I could get them to fit. Ahh. Gotta love spending money!!!!! I think my BoB's were like, $75 or something for 2? Can't quite remember.

Anna - hope everything is ok mate

Not much going on here - other than work. Kids are with mum, and she's good, she'll keep them in cloth. My poor mum - she's putting up with two grumpy sick children today - DS got sick last night and Miss m is still sick so there was absolutely NO sleep in the house for us last night - considering I've had no sleep, I think i'm functioning quite well. Might need chocolate to keep me awake this arvo though.. haha. Wouldn't want to crash my mum's car on the way to get the kids!!!

WOTB's: Dunno but they would be wearing something different from what I originally put them in!

    Morning Ladies

    Hope everyone is well today.

Anna - if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. xx

NaNa - WOW! Great to hear from you. LOVE that you're showing off the pot-o-gold overseas - bet there are a lot of people trying to find them locally now Look forward to your next "pop in".

Arimeh - I hope your kids get better soon. There's nothing worse than sick children hey. Good on your mum for keeping up the cloth though.

PrettyButterfly - you've been AWOL from the thread for a little bit, hope all is well

Eej - 50 MCN for 4 months is pretty damn good. It's about 12 per month lol I think I started about January and I'm too afraid to count mine.

Maz - Glad to see you had a fantastic time at the meet up. I've been seeing random photos pop up on fb of the meet, looks like you ALL had a fab time. Bit sad to return home hey? lol

Nothing much going on here. Need to lanolise my soaker today, if I remember. Also need to measure DS for a pair of longies that I keep forgetting to do! OH and I taught myself how to knit yesterday, yay for me. All I've done is a rectangle about 20cm x 20cm lol sad isn't it.

WOPB: Pink IB - with confidence. DF actually said it looked good!

ALIOOPS - good to hear from you, any word on WHEN your c-section will be? i know you're anxious to have as much time as you can, with Leah and your dh before he goes away.
I am getting induced on Monday if my cervix is favourable tomorrow (it is) and if the induction fails or things feel like there is something bad happening they will CS (they REALLY dont want to do elective CS!!) So around 6:30 Monday Morning the good old plastic crochet hook will be in use breaking my waters, and then we wait. I can't wait!!! DH has deferred his course, so he is going away in Feb instead, unless they can re-issue the paperwork (have a meeting today with someone who has in writing that he doesn't have to do the whole lot again, so she can use that to get the papers re-issued). Now to make that Nappy realated - The nappies come out to play on Monday if not before!!! Yay!!!

Anna - let me know if I can do anything, including taking your mind off it all. I hope I can start going to Gecko's soon, but I still dont have a pass to get on base

Nana - Well done hun. Even part time MCNing while OS is an achievement to me

Maz - I saw your FB pics of the meetup - Looks like you all had a great night!! Sheesh honey, you are going to need an employee to cut all your fabric soon!!! Wont be long and you will have OS requests!!

WOEB: Peapod with extra snaps. Still slight wing droop, but they only peek out now, rather than hanging all the way down her thighs.
