well, i use bepanthen on monsta's bum & havent had problems yet.

lansinoh is fine to use. To lanolise (cut&paste frm OCN):
•Hand wash if necessary in a little soap. Covers can be lanolised either wet or dry.
•Melt a small amount of lanolin (about pea sized) with very hot water in a jar. Do not shake the jar! Then dilute the melted lanolin with warm water. Some people add tiny bit - just a drop or two - of wool wash or baby shampoo to help disperse the lanolin.
•Pour mix evenly over covers in a bucket, topping up with warm water to just cover them. Many people find it useful to turn the covers inside out before lanolising.
•Soak for at least 15 minutes (overnight is OK too). Remove cover, do not rinse, squeeze excess water and hang to dry out of sunlight.
•Be sure to dry your soaker fairly promptly. If it dries slowly, it may develop a musty or sheepy smell. Also, keep it well out of reach of dogs!

Anyone help with itti's question? I am stuck between getting medium (6.5-12kg) or large (10-17kg) for my 18 month old. She is 12 kg and 84 cm tall. I am looking at the d'lish but not sure if they are big cuts or not. I want them for her now! TIA

ETA- is it worth buying extra small nappies (2.7-5.5kg) for newborns or stick them in bamboo prefolds with covers? (They are not Ittis- just cheap 2 for 1 Bum gs)
