i taught my 4.5 year old niece all about cloth nappies and moo goo today - no idea how much she took in, but she was asking why DD has two nappies on (HH and cover) so i was explaining it to her. she FREAKED when i asked her to open the wet bag and she was holding it open and i went to put the dirty nappy in it though - was hilarious!
she has fallen in love with moo goo "yummy aunty BG - it smells like yogurt - your baby is gonna smell like yogurt now!"
not a lot else - i have fluffy mail but sitting in the dark and too slack to open it. having a bad night emotionally (stupid post-pg hormones!) and really just want to go to bed and sook but E sleeping in the bouncer and i refuse to disturb her - if she wakes up naturally she lives up to her name and is a gem - if i wake her - well, lets just say she wakes up as badly as mummy!

Ive gotta make Vy some covers for her 'bubbies' cause she is always taking it of and putting it on her doll. Might make her some with a little nappy bag with small wipes and change mat all to match :)......I was at the lights yesterday and the lady in tghe car next to me was smiling at Vy then smiled and me and gave me the thumbs up.......I turned around to see my baby girl BFing her 'bubby'...glad to see that she's not ashamed to do it in pubic :)

Are there such things as narrow crotch night nappies?
DS is getting red marks on the insides of his legs from his night naps (all of them) and I've adjusted the way I do them up several times, checked that there's no skin caught up in the elastic bit etc. I think it's just simply too wide for him and he likes to keep his legs closed?

Brainstorming/advice needed lovelies
I ordered 2 Itti seconds - they have been washed - one is fine - i put the other one on Z man this morning - and the fit is terrible. They are both Mediums, and I have 4 other mediums that all fit well, but for him to wear it it would have to be only one snap only - it is like a smaller size - a small. Would this be possible? I would have thought that if it was a second due to incorrent tagging by them, that they wouldnt be able to send it if it is really a small etc.
Should I email them or did I just luck out because it is a second???

Hmmm... whats the rise like on both of them - are they the same? Usually its a second because of some slight defect, not a size thing. The smalls are really quite small. Measure the rise and we can compare for the ones we have. I dont' think I have any mediums left though- I think I sold them all, but I'm sure I have some smalls in the box in Miss M's room.

i got nothing BUT narrow crotch nappies for bilby, INCLUDING night nappies.
Tried many brands, the narrowest night nappies we found were:
Lotus Night Nappies (fitted)
Dragonflymagik night nappy ai2
whizz kidz fitted nightz
very baby simply nights is another narrow crotched night nappy (the weewuns might have them if anyone does)

MAZ - that's good that you know what sets Matteauz off, at least you won't be wondering WHAT to eliminate from his diet. Citric acid seems to set off many people. I listened to a dietician (on David and Kim 9am Ch10) talking about artificial colours, in particular red and yellow, ones that are banned overseas, but used in Australian processed foods - that set off many kids). i digress!
We are back using night trainers, now that bilby's cold is better (not gone, but better). She is now rolling the paper and tearing off a section. small steps but we're getting there.
today, for the FIRST time, bilby JUMPED. the teacher at Gymbaroo has been trying to teach her to jump for the last year, and apparently, with the ability to jump, a sharp increase in talking CAN occur with some children, so we're both hoping (gymbaroo teacher and me) that bilby's verbalisations will increase soon. i never thought i would be SO happy, about her jumping (both legs, both feet) ONE INCH for pete's sake! off the ground!!

When DS woke from his daytime nap today he didn't call out to us like usual. Instead we heard a "tap tap tap" on the door. So daddy went to let him out of his room only to find... DS with poop smeared all over him, all over the bed, his drawing table, the floor and his favourite stuffed puppy dog.
HMMM it was just lovely to clean up... I can still smell it regardless of how many times I clean everything.
WOPB: Still nothing, loves being nude.

Emily wore her IB for the first time today. Its a large and not quite right. She has a belly but the snaps were done up tight but she had gaping at the back??

I made DS a pair of minky pants today, just spotlight minky. They are so soft and gorgeous - but an hour after putting them on he spilt his chocolate milk all over them. Kids always have to "break in" new things don't they.
Received a huge lot of bamboo fleece today so I can one day start making prefolds for the next baby. If I ever fall pregnant again.
I'm currently sitting next to the bath tub watching DS in amongst all the bubbles put his electric toothbrush on his boy bits. Why do little boys insist on putting everything down there?
