Where is the best place to buy the stay dry materials from to make my own liners? I remember reading that Spotlight don't always sell the correct stuff? I was hoping to pick some up on the way home from Cowra but all my notes are at home - is it microfleece??? All I can remember is that it is micro something... I know I am hopeless!

Yes it's microfleece or micro polarfleece. SL is very seasonal and there is a chance they have sold it all off now unfortunately. The online stores have it if you can't find any.

Nice haul Rhyb!! I'm yet to nab A DFM I'd love to try one.

Kitt3n just saw you are coming to the goldie!! That is awesome. We will def have to catch up for lunch super soon!!

Maz you are so clever and talented!! I wish I had a fifith of your creativity!! I'm not good at anything.

We need to expand our stash of side snappers desperately. Em is leaking out of her large ittis and CTs cause we are getting mega leg gape. Her shape has changed since she's been walking and they just don't fit now!!!

Rhyb, that must have been super exciting fluffy mail. Bargain!

Trying out some side snappers ATM, I can already tell that they're going to be a better fit for DS.

Maz those night nappies you're working on look great. Keep us posted on them ones...I'm sussing out night stuff for my super dooper heavy wetting boy who sleeps through now.

Ok girls what do you recommend I should make cloth wipes out of? Now were getting closer to being in cloth full time I feel like a right dork still using disposable wipes. Hit me with your suggestions!

And i'm definitely gettin me a little squirt. Just dealt with a giganto poop. Yerrk.

you could use face washers as a start , and there are heaps of cloth wipes out there , i like the itti bitti ones , and i tend to favour the velour/flannel combo

only one more sleep till the good food and wine expo !! and 2 more sleeps till the nappy expo woot !! hope i get my hands on something !!!

it didn't make it to her blog or the GD one that i can see Sam - will have to get a pic of my bub in it - i think it might just about fit her now (a little bit big, but it's summer - it's better to be a bit loose than a bit tight!) - it's gorgeous - black with hippy type prints on it - love it!

WOEB - pink GK i think - don't know - teething bubba is fast asleep and i'm too scared to move and look at her

I like the ones that are sherpa on one side and velour on the other - the sherpa really grabs the goo. So one side is "buff", other side is "polish"!

Ezy = thankyou babe! Yeah I know its all very exciting! I can't wait, DD1 will be so upset that I am going to Q without her! Will come in for lunch sometime over the next 3 weeks, I'm so bad at organising a calendar !

well, I fell asleep getting the little one to sleep. Now its 1AM and I am wide awake GRRR

Misskate,I have 1 CT, that from the day I purchased it sounded crunchy and the elastic, while not buggered, seems really flimsy and doesnt have alot of stretch in it. The overlocking on the boosters was really messy and there was threads that wern't properly trimmed off.
I know lots of people like them, and they fit my kid ok, but I will never buy another one.

OK ladies - because I'm only learning I need you guys to point me in the directions of blogs/sites I should be looking at.

So far, Iv? only googled & looked at the sites that lead me from there... blogs are a different story!!!

Also wanting to know about liners for the prefolds/flats in the newborn stage - what ones are the best & Maz, do you make them?
Otherwise, where do I get them?! From reading on line they narrowed it down to 3 different types of material... but I trust you ladies here more than the websites!!

Am about to put a custom order through for Maz over the next few days (you've got as long as you need, lovely, but i know you said to tell you soon so you can do it when you have time )
It will have just the newborn stuff first - so covers, prefolds, liners (if you do them ).... what else should I be adding? (Maz, i hope you don't mind everyone helping me add to your work load )

In the meantime I'll start looking online for the lovely ones you guys talk about

Oh, & last thing - call me silly but what do the 4 letter abbreviations you guys have at the bottom of your posts mean? eg WOHB? Is it whatever you're using today??!

    Thanks lovelies
