fluff mail - not nappies - just some of Maz's delicious wipes
How do you know if your child needs to go up a size? Using IB's here at home - currently med. DS is borderline on going up in disposables for CC from crawler to toddler.
ooooo Kitt3n, that'd be wicked. the contoured ones seem to be too small for miss piddles' endless urine supply. Did you want me to pay postage? I think I know what you mean by the fold up thingo. Would they suit the fuzzy petite nappies as you said they're long? All the Cushie Tushies that busted on me have a second life from the boosters being tucked into nappies as added soak power now. Oh and I have a nice spot for the sunning :P Have a clothes airer set aside just for nappy inserts now. They get plenty of sun but no rain if I happen to miss a freak shower.

Leckert- DD's bum crack started hanging out and well errr, without TMI, stuff err seeeped.
Got my Maz fluff delivery today. I was tempted to flog the wipes for me but decided I really can't keep "buying stuff for my sister" and claiming it :P
Tried night nappy on DD and it's PERFECT! so glad I didn't go medium after all! DD loved it so much she kissed it!
WOCB: Nudie, Daddy's bathing her so mummy can sit down with her sprained ankle for 5 minutes. DD hid my flat shoes and I wore wedges on our arvo walk yesterday.

Okay - so don't need to go up yet - no bum crack showing, although we do get seepage - sometimes a lotDH had to clean up DS and his sleeping bag yesterday as the poop had leaked all inside the sleeping bag while DS was playing in his playpen - DS should have been going to sleep soon apparently - DH was glad he was still in his sleeping bag as it was everywhere! Glad I was at school at didn't need to clean it

hmmmm, a few on here know how to deal with issues on leg seepage. I found some nappies suit DD better then others as she has mega chubby thighs and a really scrawny bum. only certain ones fit her properly without either slacking at the top or being seemingly tight around her legs. I can only use BBH at certain stages of her growth because she seems to change shape just prior to a growth spurt and bonnibuns at another stage because she slims down other areas and others get wing droop. The Abby Gro seem to be good on her no matter what though.
OOOOOOOO, Heard today my order of Abby Gro is done so expecting fluff soon too
WOCB: Bonnibuns choc dot night nappy and hopefully stays asleep througfh the tremors tonight. No maz night nappy tonight because not enough pre washes :sigh:
A pic of my customs was uploaded! onto Abby Gro's facebook! was trying to put url in but I don't know how. Mine's the last one added!
WOCB: Whatever her daddy put on her!
Another question from me![]()
those of you who use cloth specific night nappies how many do you have in your stash ?and can you recommend some for DS?
He's currently around 9 kgs and in med IBs. We've been using IBs and GKs (with the boosters in them) overnight as well but he needs at least one if not two changes o/night for a wet nappy ( and then has to feed back to sleepwhich adds to the number of wet nappies o/night). He tends to save the poop for the daytime (often for cc to clean on those days
or for DH when I'm at work so don't have to worry so much for the poop issues.
Leckert - Ummm I think I have 5 GF's... 3 FB's... um a ticklefish tots and a KK... and I've just recently purchased another 2 KK's off a friend.
So that will be 12 night nappies - for 3 in cloth at night. Which I'm hoping will be enough when winter hits here.
My recommendation will always be GF's though cos they rock.
Woohoo scored 3 more Angeltears on their FB page! 2 were seconds and one was just randomly there (Im assuming a cancelled order)! Im waiting on 3 customs from them as well
I have all 4 in cloth fulltime (except DS as I cant find any night nappy that can cope with that much wee!) cz the dr says that they are allergic to sposies
WOAB: Bumblebee GF sidesnap
WOSB: Guitar AT sidesnap
WOBB: Lotus WW
WORB: Fairy bubblebubs
I use BBB overnight with the girls
Sorry Arimeh meant to PM you received those nicnaps and that BoB and I love em. I have like 8 nicnaps now and if I could have my ideal stash it would be nicnaps and WW for DS, AT and Abbygros for Sienna, fluffybubs and hautes for Bella and WW and GF for Ruby![]()
Rhy WOW!!! I'm sure your washing machine never stops. Unless you have 2 washing machines. I would buy a second machine if I had triplets
Leah is still in smalls. At 10 months. She is still so tiny!! And the only nappy that really still fits Sarah is a Large Magicall so I have been boosting that with a prefold for her night use. I also have some home made extenders for everything else but the fit isn't as good.
WOLB: BP
Wow Rhyb, nappies must be a full time job with you. You must be great with multitasking and time management.
OK, waiting on my half dozen Abby Gros but I wanna shop for more. I am officially addicted.
Loaded machine this morning and went out to the shops. Came home expecting nappies to be done and.................. forgot to start the damn washing machine![]()
Can anyone suggest anything to add to my usual washing routine to rid nappies of HORRID teething pee? I swear she's cutting a molar, it's pure acid smell. was thinking canestan rinse. I have been washing daily as usual and airing for a whole day after but the smell just won't go. unless i'm just imagining it because it's so rancid
WOCB: hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I think was choc dot bonnbuns night nappy outer and if memory serves me correctly the black paws insert because i just snatched first I laid hands on! 2 more washes til I can test out the Maz night nappy'til then I thought it was so cute I actually chucked it on her during the day.
First up - GO RHYB! Full time cloth for all of them, you kick ass baby!!!!
Lately I have found that I have been "double washing" - I firstly do a load on HOT with no detergent, once this cycle has completed I do a second cycle on cold water with a little detergent. Note - I have never had to strip wash any of our nappies, this is the most "action" i have had to take LOL. PS I do like the AG's too, but prefer side snappers.
Speaking of side snappers - did anyone manage to nab some Beetlebum mashups last night ??![]()

WOHB - Koi embroidered SugarShot! AI2
Blergh, my 8kg machine takes on average 2 hours to do a wash so that's not an option. 3 hours if I do it on hot. Seems that the acid pee smell has ceased for the time being. Just trying to get panadol stains out after Sunday's 3 foot drop on head incidentThank god no damage to her noggin just mild shock and a very mild concussion.
Was going to get my nicely dried and aired nappies off the line today and there were heaps of caterpillars on and around them. The evil looking black and yellow striped ones with the thorny looking things on the tail. I am PETRIFIED of them so waited til DP got home and he did it for me!
WOCB: Maz-a-liscious night nappy in black damask pattern! <3 <3 <3
okay, further to my night nappy questions - GF offer side snaps or front snaps - which should I get - I've really only used side snaps (I think) on one of Maz's covers way way back when DS was just a teeny tiny baby (okay about 1-2 months old and not 9-10 months old).
I think I'm leaning towards side snaps (I use front snaps atm with the IBs and the Velcro stuff with the GKs) for the night nappies (that way DH can't confuse them)
ETA - DS apparently has a low rise - if I go by the GF website on rise he should be in the smalls, but his waist and weight mean he should be in medium - I should stick to med shouldn't I? It won't be a problem if the rise of the nappy is bigger than his?

So we have been using cloth for almost a month now and are going well with the occasional disposable overnight as I don't have any night specific nappies yet and have been slowly building up my stash.
I just had to come in and share my deal of the day with people who understand. I am liking the fit of itti bittis on DD atm and this morning I purchased, 5 sio's, 1 aio, 1 wetbag, 2 booster sets, 3 mini boosters and 6 wipes for $141.80 delivered!![]()
