Ebay and used nappies - no you are not supposed to put used nappies on ebay but people still do - usually they get away with it but every now and then ebay checks and they all get wiped off which is a bugger if there is something you want. Being a bit sneaky an get around this. Once a lady was listing stuff I wanted bit she got wiped off but I had remembered that she had something else listed I wanted so messaged her thru this auction and made private arrangements for her nappies - and got them cheap!!!

cmarfol- Connor is gorgeous!!! cluck, cluck, cluck!! Love the strawberries

LS- Wow- no BG v3?! I would love to buy some of the organic BG but I have enough OSFM now so have to stick with our old stash I think.

starangelk- Congrats on enjoying the newborn cloth nappy world! I have no advice though sorry... we found some nappies left a pink mark on my son's legs but I'm sure how to say what is too tight. I guess if it seems painful?

Interesting about the used nappies on ebay then- personally I wish they would just get over it!

Thanks guys for the responses about the nappy fitting - I don't think it hurts her, she doesn't cry and that's the policy I have been implementing - "If she doesn't cry or fuss then it's fine!"

I am super happy that I can reuse those inserts - bargain!

ohhh I so want to see a pic of these of these rainbow AG's..they sound devine!!!!
I keep forgetting lavender oil too....might get some in Melbourne (no time now)
Packing...packing...grrrr I hate packing!!! Heading to the inlaws this weekend for a break. I had to quickly make some bamboo trifolds so I can boost up tank's nappies....he is seriously out wetting everything atm. hopefully it will work.

After my gorilla CK got caught in the dryer again (thankfully its not to damaged) Ive decided to use a pillow case to pop my nappies in before puitting them in... I dont have a fancy bag for them, but a pillow slip is the next best thing in my eyes . My nappies will not be eaten any more.

    back to packing..

    Cloth Nappies #186

    Howdy,

Well DS has pretty well grown out of every nappy we have. I want to get some large GFs but DH is refusing to use cloth and he's the one who's he thru the day so I don't see it working. wah!

I've tried reasoning with him but he's not really receptive to anything that's not his own idea

So that said I'm here for my cousin.
Her 5month old is 10.3kg so grew out of his small mcn's so fast she barely got to know which ones worked.

He's currently in flat nappies dduring the day and sposies at night which she thinks are giving him thrush so wants a recommendation for a night nappy

I'm not sure if he's wide or narrow though. How does she measure to tell this - I always worked it put by what nappies worked well for us.

I have an ecobuh for her to try but after other suggestions

I hope you had a good weekend away Maz. The gorilla nappy sounds super cool!!

Sorry to hear you're not using cloth anymore Pandora. I'm not much help with night nappies- we only tried Green Kids and they worked well for a while but not the best I don't think. I'm tossing up getting some proper night nappies too. Maybe a BBH.

First lot of fluffy mail today!! Two size 1 Tots Bots Bamboozles. Very fluffy and little and cute

Pandora - I owe you some money for the bamboo you gave me so how about I send a large NN to your SIL in its place..she can fix you up with the$$

Meow - had a lovely time away thakns . You do realise I have to check out these bamboozles now...they sound so yummy and delish.

PUtting a trifold has worked wonders with Mr ****alot. I change him every 2 hours now and the nappy is wet but not wetting through..compared to the half an hour I was getting. SO mental note...must buy more bamboo fleece to make more trifolds...10 isnt enough for the stash

Pandora - so sorry to hear that your hubby won't use cloth Regarding the night nappies, Maz's night nappies are excellent

Laa can no longer wear our medium sugar shots The bottom row of snaps kinda sits onto her thigh, instead of above it. Happened overnight.

So now we are exclusively into the medium/long sugar shots and beetlebums pockets, with some GF's as spares (the boosters take ages to dry here in winter).

Yay.. I finally am using my cloth collection. We were using sposies for the first few days. Dh hated them, they kept leaving marks on Harlee's skin and they looked so uncomfy! Harlee is in her first cloth nappy now.. a woddlebots AIO. it is soooooooo cute! I've been itching to start using the cloth!

Our hospy is a cloth free zone. Hmph. If that's not a reason for early discharge, then I don't know what is! DH has said he is more than happy to lug washloads back and forth if he has to, but I don't know if that will cut it.

Maz - the bamboozles are sooooo luscious. They're the ones DH wanted to rub up against his face because they're so lovely. Mmmmm.

Fluffy mail waiting for me at the post office.... wonder what it is?

How can a hospital prevent you form using cloth?? That is outrageous!

Was very thankful ours was only cloth! lol They discouraged sposies, but certainly let people use them, but provided and washed flats for the whole stay, all the staff were versed on them and taught us hold to fold them and pin them etc. Loved it!

    Boo for your hossie!!

nope. Up here in Shepp they have cloth on hand...but most of the *cough* young girls *cough* use disposables from day dot.
I remember going in the night before having Mario and folding a bucket load of nappies ready and the nurses all came in witih big smiles on their faces. I had people come to have a nosey at tank's bum when he was born cause he had on a blue gelatoe cover...ahhh those were the days.
I cant believe a hospital refuses to let you use cloth...how dame rude of them. Even the childrens in Melbourne will let you use cloth, as long as they can weigh the nappy before hand and after to check for output their happy.

I got a form of fluffy mail today .... 12m of malden mills fleece
