molly - I saw the sustanable hemp products had some gorgeous beatrix potter nappies up that were very girly. You could always contact one of the wahm's and get a custom order. What's your nappy poison

    ohhhh Kitten...NB kissa's ahhh I remember them

BG - I am SO IN LOVE with denim nappies...they are gorgoeus. PMSL at E...see they know, how did the cover go on her birthday? did it match the dress?
was gorgeous Maz! was a bit chilly though so she didn't get much time to flash it around - am sure it will get flashed more as the weather warms up. the color was almost perfect with the lining of the skirt and jacket - just divine

Widdlewuns have a couple of custom spots available at the moment - gorgeous nappies (have been having a love for them since DD was only a couple of weeks old!) - you can pick either "funky" material or minky with custom embroidery - a 3 pack may have just fallen into the shopping cart last night...

WOEB - NFI - Daddy changed her this morning and let mummy sleep in. she is in bed atm, and when she wakes, we're heading to the PO/park for a bit of outside play time.

I have my first brand new Cgr coming its a yellow caterpillar - sooo cute. I have a few used ones but my first new one - my DH said it s OK as it will be Ok for my boy then my girl later on.

I have trained my older girls on how to put the nappies back together after they have been washed and they are quite up with the play on how they all work.

I have to brag on my wonderful man who never baulks at changing even the pooiest bum!!!

    thanks Maz and BG.

I am very partial to AIO's/2's. I have a few fitted's but love the quick nappy changes from an AIO, I also do FDC, so am known to have 3 or 4 in nappies at any one time. I have corrupted one of my parents and she is now using MCN's as well, but the others are still on sposies. It's often like a production line around here. It doesn't worry me if they're sized or OSFM. I have a few from sustainable hemp products but tend not to use them often as they need covers. I'll have to do a bit more "window" shopping and see what I can find. (glad it's rest time for the day care kids)

i have decided that i need to track down a Very Hungry Catapiller and a just hatched sometime soon, i swear they were almost edible! LOL ...saw some for sale on Nappy addict but wasnt quick enough!

mollycat- i think we will end up mostly doing AIO/AI2 as well, DF just about fell off his chair when i told him we were doing cloth!! told me to keep a stash of sposies for when he has to change him, hahah fat chance of that!!

cmarfol - my NB stash for this baby will be

    10 Kissaluvs fitteds
    5 swaddlesbees fitteds
    6 maz prefolds
    6 booroi prefolds
    6 widdlewuns (smalls)
2 beetlebum ai2's (fingers crossed I can make this 6 before baby comes)

even though I used cloth from day one with laa I am still unsure as to how many covers I will need.......

Molly - go check out genase forge hon...she makes the most delicious AIo's and 2's...oh and Kitten has a girl DFM for sale in the classifieds still...DFM are friggen awesome!!!!

cmarfol - id say 24. that way if they all dont dry in time you'll have back up and theirnot wasted...make great pocket stuffers downt he track or for night time extra boosting

BG - I am so glad that the colouring matched up phew.

Hall - we couldnt use CGR's here. They are the most gorgeous nappies but the fit on tank was impossible . I had a VHC one in red..but not every nappy is for every child.

WOMB - goriila int he mist auriel

It's been aaaaaaages since I was in here last But I want to run a quick checklist of nappies I have for bub, and make sure I have enough! You'd think with already having had 2 in cloth before I'd know what I'm doing

    So, for bub I have:

    15 small AIO's
22 BBH bamboo fitted (this is also shared with DD2, but she might, well hopefully, tt soon)
    9 small covers
    4 medium covers
    9 medium AIO's

so, how am I going? What would you girls suggest?? I know I don't have any newborn, so fingers crossed this bub doesn't come early then I won't need any. DD2 went straight into smalls, so I kinda hoping this one will too.
    Thanks!

Jodi - HEY!!! umm I think a few more wouldnt go astray, maybe some prefolds?

wow jodi! i would hav thought that was a lot..
hmm mine looks like this (including the ones on their way):
    10 AIO/AI2
    7 prefolds
    4 fitteds
    4 covers
3 pockets that are too big atm
3 fitteds that are too big atm
2 AIO that are too big atm
1 homemade AI2 that was MEANT to be a small according to the pattern but is the same size as the AIO mediums...

hmm DFM ey? and wat do people say about GF and angeltears? they look sooo cute from peoples pics ive seen.

i like the idea of AI2 as well, our clothesline is void so things tend to get dried inside or on the verandah...so far the AIO and bamboo boosters have taken up to 3 days to dry when i was prewashing them!!!

in the early days laa could go through anything up to 20 nappies a day - was usually around 12 but I want to make sure that I have enough, just incase....... she was a poo farter, every nappy was a change because of a tiny bit of a poo fart... which is apparently rather common with BF bubs

GF are also awesome, I have not tried AT but have heard great things about them from someone who I know is just as nappy fussy as me

WOHB - hot pink sugarsot pocket
