I bought a couple of the BBh chocolate brown minkee magicalls for my toddler. They were the best - very cute but never showed up the dirt. These became my mainstay in the summer when all a kid wanted to wear was a nappy but all a toddler wanted to do was find the dirt!

Does anyone else have the problem of staining on the outside of their PUL nappies? I have a couple of BBH Magicall's that are stained from crawling etc! I have just washed them all in RG so i'll see if that helps. I definately prefer minky for that reason!

no idea but i do have a couple that have stains one from last summer when he was eating oily chips lol its probably a bit late for that one lol
gotta get nappies for jazzy prefolds just dont cut it im over changing her every hour and over wet clothes i like ecobubs and baby safari any other ideas?

I used bicarb in the wash yesterday and it got rid of the ammonia smell that was on my (well, Archie's!) nappies! Woohoo! I also have some rocking green to try. Can you use bicarb in every wash?

Yeah, I use Bicarb in every wash. I have a front loader and the pre soak compartment I put a tablespoon of bicarb, detergent section I use the RG. I found no matter what detergent I use there is always a smell in DDs nappies unless I put the bi carb in. She has nasty smelling wee with the canines coming through.

triple J - I am loving the lushies, they are great - still a bit bulky on her but hey they hold the wee! Widdlewuns are fantastic too, she uses a really thick bamboo and they are soooooo thirsty.

Well, Laa has 8 nappies on the line - The Squish has 16. I hope this warmer weather keeps up otherwise I am going to run out for the Squish!

That's what Abby Gro uses too. Fantastic wee containment! The thinner bamboo just doesn't seem to cut it now.

I'm bit confused about sizes of nappies. My stash is mainly BBH, itti bitts, green kids and some fitteds i have forgotten the name of -great for newborns though!

My little one still fits into small BBH PUL pockets. She has medium itti bittis but the other day i got some large itti bittis for a good price so got them now and DH just grabbed one and put it on her when he changed her and these fit ok too! The greenkids (not my favs) are OSFM and are a bit bulky but have still fit for a few months now. How do these nappies still fit when you have a toddler in nappies? My bub is average sized, certainly not a big bub in weight if you a big bub who is 2 and still in nappies do you have trouble getting ones that fit?

I think it depends on the build of the baby too. Also toddlers tend to be thinner builds because of walking. The brands do have different versions of "large" meaning one brand's large will be another's medium in size etc

Fluffy Mail! Brown Magic-all & Red Petite-in-II. I got an e-mail this morning at 5:45 from BBH saying my order had been shipped and it turned up at 3pm. I've washed them & they'll have their first use tomorrow for a very short time. Goodness, the petite is tiny!

Heya lovelies.... Long time, no post!

I'm STILL waiting on those CTs that took a detour to Tassie lmao...

Anybody that doesn't already know; had my wee man on the 7th & we've been happily in cloth from the get-go. A surprise for me though is that we've only used flats maybe twice...? I have enough other nappies that fit well (OSFM; he was born weighing 4.2kg) to only have them as back up - they are so much bulkier on a nb than I remember lol, but with Punk I didn't have any MCN straight off the bat so that's probably why I was okay with them then.

Waiting on some Rumparooz I laybyed, oh how I luff them!

GRATS QM! That's a big bubba! I don't think I would have been able to use flats on DD at birth because she was only 2.1kg. A face washer as a nappy maybe lol ! Been so strung out here because DD is going through a disobedient streak. I made a 7 day plan to break her bad sleeping habits (going to sleep on the bottle). I told her she was a big girl and doesn't need it now.

I almost lost 7 of my MCNs to a stray cat attacking my clothes horse. He ripped them off and the claws came out but I managed to chase him away before he started shredding. They were all on the ground, no damage which I'm glad about. If it's not gone by saturday it's going to the lost cats home. A really nasty kitten it is!

WOCB: Medium BBH pink magicall. I had to put a trifold in rather then the booster for nap time.
