Eden is about 10kg with a slim build with a pot belly, but she has chubbier thighs than my other kids. Widdlewuns fit her great (of course since they are the only ones I have.. lol)
Just subbing cause I want to try Pie in cloth
...and I can't read 17 pages all at once
She's 17 months, a bit over 10.5 kg, slim build with a bit of a pot belly. I'm thinking AIO's cause they sound pretty simple?
I have posted in threads HERE and HERE if anyone wants to offer advice or suggestions, I'm all ears...

Fleur - I'd be trying side-snappers, they fit Pip a lot better and he had a similar build by the sound of things. Oh, and widdlewuns too
Well we've been using all the BBB & BBH I have, with covers, and they aren't all that bad on a NB. Pip loves coming in and choosing a nappy for Will to wear.
Just put him in a GK pocket and he must think Xmas is definately over, as he took the opportunity to poo in it ASAP. Doh.
WoHB - a very messy GK xmas print, soon to be GK giraffe minky.
hmmm, I've checked the sizing on a couple of sites & she seems to have a rather large waist! She would fit a medium in weight, but definitely needs a large around her tum. So does this affect what brand we would go with?
don't go by weight, go by size in cm / inches. That way you won't get leaks.
the best advice i found, was to try a few diffrent types. my dd is almost 11 months, was 10kg at her 9 month check, and chunky as!! ive found some side snaps dont work the best for us, and i prefer the pockets and snap ins, shes on the last settings in some of the mediums, so i have some osfm on there way to try out next. i think its the same as clothes tho, diffrent brand/make have diffrent takes on there sizes.
And thats why I like IB's on Summer!
That poo just covered the entire inside of the nappy! From belly to back!
I've put all her CT's away for when she's bigger. They were a great fit on DS, but her legs are just too skinny.
Thinking of selling them, but I need the back up first. I dunno.
I'm not so keen on the daddledoo days either. The nights (front snaps) are ok, but the days are side snaps & her belly just isn't big enough! If they were double snap they'd work better for her.
Going to invest in some more swaddlebees side snap AIO/pockets I think. They fit her perfectly, along with the IBs.
Angeltears are a good fit too, but a bit too exxy for now.
Can anyone tell me of any others a similar shape to those?
WOSB - Frangipani nappylicious with GK booster (coz they don't seem to be all that great either! We're slowly working out what works & what doesn't)
never really been too keen on IB's but DD2 must have put on some beef because theyre doing really well atm.
very quiet in here, we're having such great nappy drying weather atm!
WOIB- kawazuki fluffy stuff tutu nappy...i think im going to have to get it framed when she grows out of it, i love it
ok, i think i have a problem... maybe, just a little... i have 20 nappies in the mail on there waywas 22 but 2 arrived today. in my defence 11 of those are pea pods i got for $75 including post and 3 boosters, there one of my faves...
im thinking of getting a custom done for her 1st birthday, but it looks like you have to have a "spot" for most ones, and tbhe ones for the end of jan were full in dec!
WOKB: itti classic, soon to be changed as shes doing stinkies....
LOL Sarah if it makes you feel any better I have 8 OTW, but I will clear out some of the ones that don't work as well as the ones OTW.
For those who are looking for some new nappies do you know that there are currently some in stocks at SugarShots! ? I have never, ever seen her nappies last more than 5 minutes!! (yes, I caved and bought 4 more for miss A)
WOAB - Lushie/loveybums wool crepe cover
WOMB - GF dragonfly embroidery
ETA OMG LOOK AT MY AVVY!!!!!
Sarah if you need any more peapods let me know!
WOAB sposie.. Left him at mums while I went to dr so just easier for her... So don't throw eggs ok!?
No eggs thrown here!!!
WOM & E's B: Flats. No eggs here either.
Just popping in to say hello, we've recently just gone from part time to full time cloth and loving it![]()
Who's gonna throw eggs? I have none anyway, lol.
Summer doesn't really have chunky legs, but has a narrow crotch, I think thats why Itti's work? I really dunno, lol.
Daddledoo's are working better now. I think she's just finally grown into them properly. I need to learn some patience, lol.
I think we have to avoid bare PUL. She's been getting eczema on the inside of her thighs & I think its from the bare PUL.
I dunno. Am getting a fitted from Maz to see how they go with no pul, but minkee or velour outter (up to her) & if they are good enough holding in the wee I think I'll get more.
Oh gosh I feel for Princess Mary. The babies will come when they come!! (what is it with famous people having twins lately??) People are hanging around already waiting for the arrival!
WOSB - Genesa Forge curly![]()
Sam, it's amazing how easy it is hey? I wish I'd started sooner. At least I'll know for number 2. I was exceptionally grateful today for jacks cloth bum.. After the festivities I have $2 in the bank, not even close to buying a box of nappies! But, luckily I don't have to
WOJB royal blue IB
We'd been part time cloth since DD2 was 6 months old, didn't have enough nappies to go full time, it's great! I wish I'd known about them when DD1 was born.
Hi clothie ladies and a Happy New Year to you all. My apologies, you are well overdue for a new thread. Here: Cloth Nappies #190
