Still no poo and the poor darling is miserable! Have tried all my best poo-magnet nappies, heaps of nappy-off time, including a few good chances to cover me in it, and she has passed up every opportunity!

WONB: Light blue itti. Used to be her cousin's, he pood in it, hoping she'll follow his example.

She has about an 8 month old and (I think)3 other kids. If you go to her website you can send an email under the contact section. I'll shoot you a PM with the link JIC you can't find it. One was posted to me on the 20th dec but as the postie said the other day, our local PO has a backlog of parcels. That and stuff takes 3 years to get here from anywhere on east coast.

ETA: Had an epic fail with my washing machine while we were out. The outlet hose was blocked and cycle stopped mid run so my nappies were in poo smelling water for 2 hours. Serviced machine (grrr DP's long/think hair blocking filter) and decided to do a wash with ecostore to see how it went. Wash is about to finish after super long cycle so I'll see results when I hang them out.

I found a new use for a tri fold too. DD had eaten something wrong I think and power chucked tonight. I was about to stuff a BBH nappy with a trifold and caught the vomit mid-stream in the trifold! AWESOME effort for someone who once knocked a teacher out who was standing 3 metres away from the hoop in netball at school I guess being a mother really does improve reflexes!

I bought the eco store powder & whitener yesterday. Will do a wash soon, just not sure what to use. I think I might do a cold soak wash with the whitener. Soaks in my mashine for about an hour.
I'm so worried about DD's eczema flaring up, but hopefully with the eco store it won't. I guess at least then I'll know, huh.
But there's no sun (AGAIN) to hang them out in So freakin over the clouds & rain!!

Anyone else have cotton velour inside any of their nappies? Have you notices the velour really likes to hold onto stains? Most of the others are pretty good after a wash, with minimal yellowing, but the swaddlebees hold onto it like nothing else! Comes out in the sun no worries though (when there is sun!!)

Missy crashed early in an itti last night. It lasted til about 5am. Could've been worse I guess, lol.
Oh & she slept in her poo. Poor bugger is a bit red now Suprised me coz out of all my kids she's the first to kick up a stink the second she's finished. With my other 3 they'd happily sit in it til I realised. She will not!

I think DH would freak if I got some pink bits! Little bit too much for his poor little brain to process

I told DP why I was getting them Clover. He didn't bat an eyelid at me. I really have issues with the plastic ingredients though and every month would be painful with disposable pads on. I am the same with BPs so will be ordering some of those soon too!

DD had a restless night last night but I GOT A SLEEP IN! DD has actually stopped stressing so much when I'm out of the the room, she let her father get her up today. DP also changed her bum

Yeah, now I've used the BP's I can see the benefits. I ran out of cloth & used throw away ones & they drove me nuts! I couldn't stop scratching.
I was given a full box & I still have them, almost full still. I used a few in hossy & kept some in my nappy bag... they're still in my nappy bag

How did you go with the ecostore, ladies?

I've heard of people using the soaker to soak... What exactly do you soak? Will it affect the PUL or elastic you think? Haven't tried it yet mind you all Ds nappies aren't stained yet.

WOJB Bumsup pocket. Gonna get a few more. Theyre DH friendly providing I maker sure I stiff them first.. Otherwise they go on with no insert XD

If I do a soak Helle it's just the inserts and boosters. No need to soak shells because mine don't get all stained. I haven't tried eco store soak but I used the RG and it definately got a heap of gunk out. I usually just pause front loader when it's full and leave for a few hours. I only really do it if DD has had foods that stain her nappies like tumeric in a bolognese etc.

The ecostore powder brought my nappies up quite nice and no smell. I still like RG though. I'll see if they make the boosters crispy when they finish drying. I will still use the rest of the RG though

Hey Maz, I asked Christie if she would make some night nappies for me, with bamboo velour inners, and she's making them into pockets for me for my pee machines. So hopefully (fingers crossed) I can get the girls back into cloth of a night time before we become broke next year.

Helle, I don't think it would affect the PUL/elastic, but thats why I'll be doing mine cold & not leaving them for too long.
I think there's a thread in the discussion tab on fb about that? Maybe not, I have seen people post on the wall about soaking though.

LOL! I managed to get into my OB yesterday. That process was a whole other thread which I posted last night. I even got a snapshot of the bubs in there. I'm trying to think of a unisex lolly based nickname. DD was jellybean and she still gets called it so can't use for second one baking.

DD walked up to me smelling suspiciously and said "dad,dad boo" Which means she brewed a special present for DP He's about to change the gag worthy nappy so I might conveniently leave the room (edit: we ran out of disposable wipes and he can't clean her up with face washers....) At least she's better today and the vomit seems to be a one off
