i have a HUGE problem! df was washing something from the shed in the laundry tub, and well spilt it in the nappy bin.... ds2 helps put the dirty ones in the laundry, and sometimes (this being one of those times) forgets to close the lid... well now i have these black splash marks all over a handfull of nappies!i rinsed them with cold water, got the chunky bits off, and washed them with the eco store, but the marks were still there, poo ones all gone, ive put them back in the wash, and its been on pause for the last hour or 2 soaking, this stuff is horrid, its like grease i get it out of his clothes with bleach, but i know thats a big NO-NO. would it come out in the sun, next wash? theres no sun anywere today, just grey clouds. im going to be megga peed if they dont come out (even tho it WAS an accident)
If it's greasy you could try a strip wash - a couple of drops of dish detergent in the washing machine and wash through about 3 times to make sure the detergent is out.

    thanks guys!!!

soo just looking at sites now... what is a pocket nappy??

    sorry for the 20 questions!!
20 questions is fine - we all had to start somewhere - I think I did the 20 questions about 2 years ago
Pocket nappy has a hole at the back of the nappy where you stuff boosters (like the snap in bits on a IB).

thanks Leckert, ill give that a go.

mummy of 4, pockets have like a pouch you stuff a insert into instead of snaping one in. theres a good page on facebook that sell seccond hand ones, if you dont mind the idea of it, great way to get a feel for the diffrent ones and see what you like befor getting brand new.

    Gosh another thread already?!
LOL! We talk too much! Kudos Helle on converting Bobbie!

Welcome to the wonderful world of MCN Bobbie Be careful, it gets a tad obsessive. Fire away any queries and someone should be able to answer for ya!

Everytime we used to put a sposie on DD she'd poo down her legs no matter how errr solid the poo was. We only use sposies of a night but DD is a champion wetter and no matter how much boosting it floods the bed. As it is we have to buy a size up from her weight and even then sometimes it'll be pushing it in the morning.

My bub was exclusively breastfed until 6+ months and i didn't have to rinse her #2 nappies cos everything just washed in the machine. It's only now that she has started solids and her poos are changing that the nappies need rinsing or scraping or whatever.

I asked DH tonight if he wanted to put her in cloth for bed & he said "no... they scare me" lol. So I did it
