ok, how old was your bub when they started undoing velcro?????
dd is my first in cloth, she is 11 months old, was standing near me, holding the chair and i hear "riiip" look down and she had one side undone!!! i asked her what she thought she was doing, done it back up, she is now giggling and clapping and doing it again!! i know the boys were in sposies, but they didnt even attempt it untill arround 17 months or so?? henow thinks she is the cleverest thing out...

wokb: nothing, shes just compleatly taken it off.......

We're getting the semi solid poo atm.. Its grose. Our little squirt is too powerful so when I use it I end up with pooey water all over the toilet and floor..not worth the hassle. I've been naughty and just beenthrowing them in a2 and a half hour wash cycle, with like 4 pre washes. They come out pretty much like new againlol
I'm banning myself from that fb site.. I will just use it to sell...no more buying! My stash is over 200 now..thinking of seeking medical help.

6 months old Sarah! I only had one MCN with velcro on but it was soon ditched. Every time I put it on DD it resulted in a puddle or a errr...... pile on the floor. Maybe have a look for some bloomers to put over the velcro ones?

i have only ever tried flats twice, once when DS was newborn but even prefolds didnt work very well for us and once when antibiotics gave him terrible runs. both times i had heaps of trouble getting the legs to not gape massively, but too small around the waist... i think that was just my retardedness....

question might be a blonde one for those of you without LS, when u guys rinse off ur pooey nappies do you rinse them in the laundry tub, the shower, outside or somewhere else??

WOCB: bbh bamboo fitted with extra boosting and maz plane cover. fingers crossed no leaking tonight...

I don't rinse mine at all... I scrape off as much as I can then chuck them thru the rinse cycle with all the others before I wash.
Seriously considering buying a spatula for the scraping process.

LOL! Mel has a poo spoon. Have you patented it yet Mel?

Angelpants- Pre LS I used a shower head attachment on the bath tap but our loo is next to the bath so it worked. I'd suggest flicking solids off in the loo (well the bulk you can) and then use the laundry trough. That wasn't an option for me because the washing machine blocks it. We got the LS because DD started doing errr....... harder to manage poos and we were spending ages getting it off
