Freckle
I was turned off OAFM because of that exact reason. Ive had small babies and found BBH bamboo's really big aswell and rather bulky.
I was shown prefolds and I have to say...for those first few months they were the bomb! quick and easy to use and even quicker to hang and dry. Invest in a clothes horse so you can throw them on straight out of the machine and then pop the whole lot outstide.
Prefolds masy seem a bit pricie in comparison BUT if you buy the right ones you are able to use them later on as extra boosters in your OSFM pockets ect, I use them still for my DD who is 3 as boosting in her covers at night. Prefolds use doesnt stop once their to small to wrap around bub.....they are so versitile and you'll keep them until your child is TT.
hey hun i found mini lala's to be the best fitting OSFM they were still pretty big when DD2 was newborn
For us the best small fitted was envoy nappies, they're sized but have snaps to make them smaller again, oober cute too!
We used prefolds too until the girls were bit bigger. I also had some bubble bubs bambams which i LOVED!
I got a better fit with then compared to prefolds and they were great as night nappies as DD2 got a bit older. I guess they work out a lot more $$$ but if you had the money, totally worth it.
