WA has AWESOME nappy drying weather and I rarely use my dryer lol. I do put inserts in dryer if it's that heavy, humid air about but usually they dry under the eaves on a clothes horse. I had an awesome spot where I could put the shells in the shade and the inserts in the sun but that's out the window with the new dog.
As for drying nappies. Inserts I put in the dryer, I don't need to put my PUL shells in because they dry fine anyway. If you have any fleece AIO then they can go in the dryer once in a blue moon but repeated use will kill elastic. PUL is tumble dryable on low but whenever a PUL lined nappy has snuck in here it's been a really bad end result meaning that particular nappy has delaminated waaaaaaaaaaay before the others!
