for $80 it'd wanna be lined in gold, wipe off a poo bum and walk itself into the washing machine then hang itself out to dry, i think!
Gee that sounds confusing!! Maybe a tech problem?

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but I know absolutely ZERO about MCN's but am very interested in building up a stash!
Could any of you lovely ladies explain from the very beginning all the different types of nappies and what you all feel is the best one and why?
Also, what you think may be best for my DD, she's now 9 weeks (as you can see by my ticker) and has JUST moved into "infant" huggies nappies, and is roughly 4.7-4.8kg if that helps?
Thanks heaps![]()
Its tricky to say which brand would be best for your bubs as they are all different fits and bubs are all different shapes. Like jeans, A pair could look awesome on you, but crap on me XD
I love itti bitti tuttos here. They're a OSFM (one size fits most) but still super trim in the crotch - DS is quite slim and narrow. I also use abbygros and maz alicious night nappies![]()
I agree with the Itti bitti tuttos! They are awesome!! I also have Itti Bitti SIO (snap in one) in medium which is a tiny bit big for DD and she is 6.4kgs.
The other brand I have is the Pop-In original and it is awesome!!! It is a OSFM and is so soft! I find the crotch part is nice and wide to catch the poo but not stiff so doesnt feel bulky or pull her legs apart IYKWIM? They were so nice i bought 4 more from a UK site for $18 each!!! Australian prices are $36 each.
I also bought like 8 crappy cheap pocket nappiea off ebay just for when we are out or if we run out of good ones.. Only cost $40 so i dont care if they are useless.
Sent from my iPhone so sorry for the spelling and punctuation!!
Gem - there is a sticky in the cloth section - tips for new users - or something like that. Have a read of that. I'd link you but I'm on my phone and haven't worked out how to do that yet. I would say that in most brands she would still fit comfortably in a small - I only use Widdlewuns here (but have tried a LOT of brands in my 3 years of using cloth) and her mediums don't start until 7kg.
Nappies are best chosen measurement wise, not purely on weight![]()
JAKI - Bec said there is one custom spot left on her website if you want it - its $80 for two custom nappies
WOMB: WW
WOEB: WW
WOSB: Waddya know - its a WW too.
Definitely pick by measurement. As Mrs Bexie said, medium ittis were too big for her babe at 6.4kg, yet on mine at 6.2kg, they fit well and weren't even on their tightest setting. Big-arse thighs. Like her mumma.
There is plenty to be read on this forum about nappies. I tried a couple of every kind, thinking there would be one golden solution. But I ended up loving almost everything. It's the big thighs... even stuff with shot elastic fits around those things with no leaks. She is her own gusset.
Jaki - I paid $80 for my two customs. Not gold lined, but there's some very nice gold thread on one, and silver on the other
WONB: BamBam and Totswrap. It's a fitted kind of day here today
See $80 is fine, it's the add $35 for 2 that's confusing!
I'll go have a look, I bought a standard one thus morning to try the fit.
Ecostore is on sale ladies! $6.29
We had a massive wee out today. Think DS drinks half the pool at swimming lessons. It required purchase of new pants as we were out having lunch.
WOJB tutto... And new pants

How are the BBH? Their hemp nappies are only $14.50? Do you need a cover with them?
WOCB: sposie.. Lol its night n i always seem to post at night on here!!
Sent from my iPhone so sorry for the spelling and punctuation!!
Mrs bexie - in answer to your bbh hemp question, this is from their website:
"Requires a cover to be worn over the top to keep clothes dry. Check out the bright colourful PUL covers available here at Baby BeeHinds"
It's a fitted nappy, so I've always used a cover. I like them, but like the bamboo ones better - not as scratchy and stiff![]()
