It has delicate, dry and extra dry. Then 30, 60 and 90. I always put it on extra dry cos it's a heap of crap XD

Oh no Helle!! Hope its ok!
Well we are at sydney airport waiting for our flight to canberra. I bought only cloth!! Bit scared but looking forward to seeing if i can handle it!
Wocb: sposie until we get to canberra..
Sent from my iPhone so sorry for the spelling and punctuation!!
We are off on a camping trip and took only cloth too. Will be interesting!
Wojb eBay cheapie with extra boosting for the car trip
ah, me ... well, we're at teething central here, and have had EXPLOSIVE POO for days on end! DH, who is a SAHD made the executive decision to switch to disposables for the past few days, and we have today gone back to cloth ... very pleased :)
does anyone else here use terry squares?
WOJB? red terry square :D
to all those who have AIOs,pockets etc.
what did you do to prepare ur nappies when you got them. iv heard you need to wash them several times before use. do u need to wash them with detergent for these washes. and also do you need to do these prep washes on the shells aswell if ur have SIO's,pockets?
just a quickie, has anyone elses bub reacted to baby powder?
WOAB: flnell flat bamboo booster motherease cover and a lot of benpanthen!
WOKB: bambooty
I never wash anything to prepare it, I just let the kids wear it for less time until it's been a few washes and wears, then it lasts the 2-3 hours. Shells will only need one wash to remove manufacturing residue if they have no boosting in them
because they don't have anything to increase absorbency. ITMS?
Sarah - I don't use baby powder, I use cornflour if needed. :)
No nappy news here other than I need more haha
Oh but S is out of her newborn Maz covers now so that's exciting.. Gives me something to sell lol
I second the corn flour. At the moment I've got a wriggler who doesn't lie still. Velcro is the easiest to get on him, but it's also the easiest for him to get off.
Boys pulling at their bits is normal right? I'm surprised he doesn't pull it off he tweaks it so roughly.
Issy Bear for us at the mo...
Don't you hate it when you forget to pack the night time nappy covers!! I have one cover and it's too small to go over night nappy!
WOMB:bubblebubs bam bam and NB BBH cover
peanutter - I'm going to be use terry and flannel flats in combo with MCN. Do you use flats exclusively? I'm not sure how long I'll use them, if they'll be absorbant enough once Das gets bigger?
I use flats. I give them extra boost with a bamboo trifold.
its like a rectangle of bamboo u fold into 3 :)
WOMB: sposie and longies
WOJB: nic nap night
I'll be using terry flats for new bub but DD is a champion piddler and even with extra boosting it'd be messed up . We have colds AND teeth here so the extra snotties combined with teething is making DD a poo factory again. Last 2 year old tooth coming through now so I am looking forward to all this s--t being over with (no pun intended). After literally only 12 hours I am gagging on the ammonia smell that is in the nappy bucket. I am even separating shells and inserts and little squirting inserts to try and dilute the ammonia stench. Good job DD uses 6-8 nappies a day still so I don't feel sooooo bad about my nightly washing.
WOCB: airing her poor bits after all the poo today! looking a tad red even with moogoo slathered on every change and only water wipes to clean.
 yup compleatly normal!! my 1yo dd has curently "discovered" herself and each change is a struggle, i was shocked at first as i thought only boys done that!
i thought id be safe with the baby powder as well its, powder, but obviously not. dd1 wasnt this bad and she grew out of it, i thought it was the nappy as its a difrent liner to the others but it is only were the powder was, and its like a burn, poor little thing.
i use the flats ocasionaly, both the flannell and terry ive been using the peapod boosters and microfiber ones just so there got the extra absorbancey.
ah, thanks!
we use a bamboo pad wrapped in a terry overnight as the insert to an internet cheapie ... works well for us!
but during the day, it's normal terries - we probaby still change him 4-6 times during the day, depending on need :)
DS has been sitting in the bath lately just grabbing it and pulling it so far out! i keep thinking he is going to pull it off! we keep his hands busy at change time tho as he is so much of a wriggler
WOHB - sposie. about to be a bbh petite
