So. We are staying at a place that has a newsagence, grocery store, deli, butcher and chemist. That's it. Walk into the chemist and what do they sell? Peapods. I live in a small city and nowhere sells MCNs?!
So anyway... I got some bamboo peapod trifolds to use with our flats and eBay cheapie pockets (instead of the microfibre). Considering the nappies are average they make wicked boosters.
They only have peapods at my local baby shop. I was quite shocked that anywhere in Kalgoorlie sold MCNs. I only know of about 4 women in town that use MCN and 2 of those use Cushie Tushies (one's a rep and the other is her friend :lol:). I did however bump into a cloth addict a while back who I put onto Maz night nappies.:
Nappy news is my puppy has a deathwish and tried to nab an abby gro shell when I had the laundry door open. He stopped mid tracks when he heard the tone in my voice :lol: If only I could get Pixie to listen to me like that today...

bubba slept in his first cloth nappy last night. slept 7 hours and no leaks!! yippeee.
ew, that would have been scary. I've seen some of the teenagers getting around and I think they're a tad intimidating. I might just be getting old though :lol::

Lol nah, she was the metal work and woodwork (etc) teacher so she could defo hold her own with the wee *****s.

How absorbant are itti bitti Tuttos? Trying to plan ahead for a heavy wetter really after judging DD's quantity of wee. On a scale of 1-10 VS say a BBH magicall on absorbancy and drying time what are everyone's thoughts?

I find my tuttos awesome!! 12hrs overnight with no leaks and really really full!!! She only ever leaks of the booster is sitting over the elastic on the legs (whenever dh changes her):

After how many pre washes was that MrsBexie? Did it have the bamboo booster in or microfibre?
We are finally home and my boy is back in cloth! Yay!!!
Wowb- hippybottomus + extra BL booster... Altho it's not exactly night anymore!
I only did one prewash but they have been washed about 5-8 times. And thats the bamboo. I have 2 microfibre too and they are fine. If i want it to be more absorbant with microfibre i but in a bamboo mini booster.

I am going good with using cloth away. Have to wash today and pop them in the sun as early as possible! Glad i bought extra boosters too!

For absorbancy I would given them an 8, for drying (especially in winter) maybe a 5. They have a sewn in booster that can take a while to dry.:
Nappies that are completely snap in or pockets that don't have sewn in boosters will dry quicker. Alternatively, in winter around the house I especially like using the BBH bamboo fitteds with a pair of longies because I can put the whole fitted in the dryer if I need to without having to worry about PUL.
For a heavy wetter and quick drying have you thought about Issy Bears (minky only, cotton outer nappies will wick)? They can be a bit on the bulky side but I've never had a leak from those and they dry really quick. Tuttos are good too, but I think are more suitable to medium-light wetters...
Thanks Yeddi. A 5 in drying time I can do in winter because Kal isn't that wet. I have a heap of abby gros that have super fast drying shells and tumble dryable inserts but a few are getting tired. I think there is maximum of a month total here that you have to use the dryer because there will be a massive dump of rain on a day and then sun for 3 days lol. I just didn't want to get anything with most of the boosters sewn into the shell. We have heaps of Bonnibuns and abby gro backups while tuttos are drying anyway. I'll be using mostly flats until summer (early octoberish gets warm) and it's quite warm until late march (and was even 34 degrees on monday!)

Tuttos don't have sewn in inserts? Or can you get AIO now?
