Not sure about the weekly but we used 200+ nappies the first month with Wyatt so at huggies prices that's prob $80 for the month.
Plus wipes at up, we use cloth.
Not to mention the exy breastpads, I'm just switching to cloth there also.

As for the reselling- most of mine are one size fits most so I don't have to keep buying. I have some itti d'lish which are sized but in future I'm gonna go for the tuttos so I can change the size.
There is a 2nd hand nappy trading website, can't remember the name! Just have a google.
Also there is the buy swap sell thread on here

Can you buy the ittis in America? If you look back a page or so mrsbexie mentioned a uk site that looks great, I worked out the tuttos are about $25 AU

    Thanx for that btw mrsbexie!

Mrs bexie - yours if you want it, just pm me your address.

Lmp - think it's about 3 grand you spend on sposies on average till toilet training, but I would have spent that on cloth so I haven't saved any money lol!!!! As for selling eBay is out, I sell mine on nappy addicts or just put them on my Facebook profile cos I have quite a few cloth friends on there.

LMP! Hi. There are a few MCN buy, swap and sell pages on FB. Ebay people have listed used but they're usually taken down before they sell.

Well, this morning's playgroup said they found using cloth "repulsive" and "unhygenic". My reply was "well you wear your knickers more than once don't ya? Nappies get washed too.". It's only because Pixie pooed. Half of the kids are TTing right now and accidentally do poo in their pants and the mums don't throw them out. No logic there as far as I'm concerned. There is nothing wrong with my child's hygiene or mine for that matter! And then half of them exclaim it's so expensive to buy nappies for 2 kids a week *sigh*!

I'm looking around for newborn fluff but not buying any more just yet. I still haven't gotten off my butt and hemmed the nappy flannelette so refusing to buy any more nappies until I see how many that'll make.

WOCB: Bonnibuns night nappy for her nap. Abby Gros haven't been cutting it for nap time of late so night nappied her today.

    i find when people dis the cloth it's beacuse a) they're jealous and b) they're trying to jusify their own reasons for not bothering ><;

I was more amused by it because they make out they're extra intelligent women . Pixie did have a super gorgeous nappy on this morning I really don't mind if someone admits they're too lazy to use cloth, at least they're honest.

How rude of them to say it is unhygenic!!! And good on you for asking if they use their undies more than once! hahahaha... I have only ever had good comments on my MCN's!!
With the newborn fluff there is a bubblebubs newborn "just hatched" one on ebay... brand new... it's sooooooo cute!

The FB page I am on is "buy and sell your MCN's (modern cloth nappies)
It's actually a group, but there is soooo many people on there and nappies get snapped up really fast!!

ooh and I got my Maz bamboo breast pads too!! I got the large ones and they are HUGE!!! Love them tho, I haven't had ANY leaks from them yet and I completely fill and almost leak from the J&J breast pads... I buy like 4 boxes a fortnight which is a CRAP load of money on disposable breast pads!!!! And the minky feels awesome agains my boobs! I might buy some normal sized ones too cause they are cool! LOL...

HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!! I got to pick my own minky too, I got pink n white demask, pink cupcakes and plain hot pink.
Maz-a-licious is her FB page... go get some WMM if you are looking into cloth BP!!!!!
