I'm still having problems with my bambootys having an awful wee smell even after washing and sundrying. Also have temporarily solved my almost but not quite fitting issue with the ittis by putting a cover over them to make sure its tight around his legs. Silly I know, but my stash that fits is so small if I don't start using the four of those that I have. I'm not using flats at the moment cos they have to be boosted so much now that nothing will fit him properly. Maybe I can use them again when he's a bit bigger?

Mellybelly - have you tried using a canestan rinse in your washing machine when washing the nappies? That helps take the wee smell out of mine.

Woohoo!! Got my boos already! And they gave me a moo wetbag which is what i asked for so very happy! They are in the wash now.
Has anyone tried bella bumz? I have a really cute emb one in medium but it is soo small!!! Usually all her nappies are done up as tight as they can be around her waist but this one only has one snap left! And it leaked right awayi am thinking i may have to sell it cause its just not a good fit... Its so cute tho! Says:

Bexie - Yeah I got a Bella Bumz at the RNW event in Brissie last year. I quite liked it, fit wise, it was a small, and I RAOK'd it on back in about March. I have a few hemp fitteds already, but thanks.
MNB - yes, whata lot of poo you have washed away. You should have kept some and framed it or something.Actually, I'm a bit sentimental like that, couldn't possibly sell the Spunky Butts fitted that DD did her first poo in.
CL - my batty old next door neighbour and my mum both swear by moontanning. I don't think it makes that much difference, but panadol staining on SIL's itti boosters is enough to have me pulling out all stops. The Bambooty smalls are great on a newborn.

Just bought 3 more Bcheeks. Im still not happy about the footy nappy situation but gosh darn they just fit him so well. 3 for $60 again.
Once the rest of my nappies sell i want a few more bonnibuns workhorse and a couple more pop ins and im done!

i can only put a certain colour purple on DS otherwise he looks girly!
i have pumpkin pop ins but they are used around the house and at night (if i remember or not in the wash)
i got my first envious nappy and pretty nappy in the mumma loves bubba fb sale the other day!!! i cant wait for it to come so i can try it!

Had to pop in here for some sympathy for my itti fail this morning. I was too lazy to take his sleep suit off when I changed him this morning and figured cause he'd pooed I'd put on the itti with bad elastic. Bad move he pooed again and when I changed him there was poo in the foot of his suit, not down the leg just on the outside of the nappy and in the foot. Have to take a leaf out of mellybelly's book and use a cover with my ittis.

LOL! I still get the odd down the leg poo with Pixie when I don't realise elastic is starting to slack off in a nappy. I'm lucky it was time for a shower the other day and stripped her in the bathroom because basically we had a poo floor.
Pop-in fans- are the originals quick drying? My sister picked me up a couple of night boosters for $3 each from some random parenting market and I'm uber impressed with the absorbancy. I used one in an el cheapo pocket I had floating around and it was super absorbant. Washed up gorgeous too. Added bonus is it states can be used as a prefold too.

My pop in's dry pretty quick, the night booster is amazing, our bottom booster doesn't even get wet! But Wyatt wears it every night- rotation of 2- and I've notice the night booster is getting a bit stiff and not as soft, but the rest remains soft as a babies bum.
I want 2 more for day naps, Wyatt has EPIC naps

What does it mean when a nappy is 'crinkly'? I've been ROAK'd a crinkly CT but I'm not sure what it means, is it usable?

how many nappies do you ladies think a 4 month old would go through a day?
I'm thinking we may have to start going part time at first til the supply is built up a bit (I have 10 ittibitti d'lish SIO's with 3 extra sets of liners & boosters)
i will also hopefully be buying a couple more BBH magicalls too in the next couple weeks to add to the stash, hopefully around 4-5 of em....
does that sound like enough??

Usually it means it's delaminated, so it may not be water proof.

Delaminated as Helle said. Sometimes it makes them not work, sometimes it doesn't make a difference. CT's aren't exactly a brand known for their quality anyway - they were good before they got taken overseas, quality of them dropped substantially after that happened.
Hiya! It depends on how many times your bub is still pooing during the day. I think Sahti (nearly 3 months) uses about 6 a day now, just depends on how many times she poos, but its definitely not every nappy change now.
Hi to everyone else - having a slow nappy day here, strip washed the ones I've sold and had them in the sun to remove stains - got a tiny bit of sun today here in tassie but it was enough to remove the stains!! Awesome stuff that sunlight...
