I only ever wash mine once, i use fitteds overnight so if its new i just chuck in an extra trifold i already had

after i read the first couple of you doing this i chucked em in the dryer with the others lol
I did think 3-5 times in hot was a little excessive especially when your supposed to be helping the environment

I wash once. Meh, whatever. I'm so fully attached to my nappies that I know how new each one is, and on its first few runs, I just don't leave it on as long. It's kinda the same....

We're emerging from sick-land, so it's been a few days of boring nappies here while the Panadol has been out in force. Weirdly, though, the first dose of the new bottle didn't seem to stain? Same last time. Odd. Anyway, DH was very excited when he was allowed to put the BigBird cuddlefleece AIO on her. It's his new favourite, he tells me. Big dork.

That is cute I'll have to give my DH a lesson before i go back to work (boohoo) p/t next month.

Well first night in cloth Bamboo BBH with the long insert and bamboo trifold with wool cover over the top. No leaks! and it was on for about 13hrs. Pretty impressed.

I noticed that too! I think the added oxygen in the bottle does something to the sorbitol after first use.

DD used wait for it............ ONE NAPPY during her nap (I think it was dry when she woke up too) and only had one accident so 2 pairs of "unders" yesterday. Even though she was "I'm not going to move off the couch because death has warmed up" sick she still requested undies and potty. All the congestion has wreaked havoc on her guts

WMM, you're in trouble... I'm in love with bonnibuns. They fit DS perfectly! I was surpsied... they seem so teeny for a OSFM.

I noticed the bonnibuns seemed tiny too but they're surprisingly generous in fit. At least they're a good, reasonably priced workhorse. The only thing I found was that the sewn in bamboo in the shell meant they took a bit longer to dry. I put one on DD the other day for a quick shopping trip because she's mostly waiting until we get home now. She's barely down the row of snaps. It's kind of a pain to use them on her though because I have to flip the insert over and lay in an old CT insert to stop the suedecloth contacting her skin.

Oh that's a bugger... I bought WMM natural ones, I think they're bamboo velour inside? N'yeah I noticed the inner bit in the shell too, but all my CT's are they same so they'll just have to stay on the line a little longer with them

I have my nappies on the clothes horse with the inner up either in the pool area, on the front verandah or under the heater. I just make sure the elastic isn't stretched tight. They seem to dry faster because the moisture isn't trying to evaporate through the PUL.

are we talking that they're less on looks, and more on practicallity?

Yep. One of mine is an oooooooldie with micro inner and black bamboo. But otherise, all suedecloth. Which is only a problem here if we do it two nappiess in a row.

No nappy news here. Need to de-stash. Can't.

I'm glad you like them helle! The naturals are Devine! Such a shame they were discontinued. They pop up on the MCN page a bit tho, the other day someone put up 6!!! But I controlled myself

yep helle exactly that except i know some ppl that their pretties are their workhorses ive always mostly had workhorses except i count my DM's as workhorses and pretties can even get a night out of them in emergencies by adding a trifold pretty much all jazzys nappies are DM's except for a Petite peony and a few GK's with issys on the way lol oh and nic nap nights

FINALLY got around to a strip wash today of all our nappies. boy did they stink! DS still has a nappy rash which with bepanthen and curash powder is slowly clearing up. looks much better then what it did the other day! almost gone now. so fingers crossed he will be back in cloth tomorrow depending on whether they dry in time or not. its horrible weather here today. extremely windy and raining. was going to do some gardening in DS's nap time but decided against it when it got windy.
